In-N-Out
After much hesitance, Maren Morris ended up attending the CMA Awards on Nov. 9 — well, a very brief portion of it. The singer eschewed the red carpet and kept her distance from Jason Aldean and his wife, Brittany, with whom she's been publicly feuding. Multiple reports revealed Maren and her husband, Ryan Hurd, entered Nashville's Bridgestone Arena just before the album of the year category was announced, as Maren was up for the prestigious award. After joining in a standing ovation for Luke Combs' win in the category, Maren and Ryan were seen leaving. After the show, Maren took to Twitter to share a video of herself strutting down a hallway with a bottle of Dom Pérignon to the tune of Taylor Swift's "Karma." She captioned the video, "BYOB, CMA." The Grammy-winning singer's attendance was very much up in the air — she previously said she didn't feel "comfortable" showing up to one of country's biggest nights amid her feud, which began after Brittany made an anti-trans joke on Instagram. The women went back and forth, with the "Bones" singer dubbing Brittany "insurrection barbie." Jason, as expected, backed his wife.

Storm watching
There's a woman already wreaking havoc on Tiffany Trump's weekend wedding: Nicole. Donald Trump's daughter is set to marry longtime boyfriend and billionaire heir Michael Boulos at Mar-a-Lago in Palm Beach, Fla., this weekend, but Hurricane Nicole is causing the bride-to-be to stress out. "Friday is supposed to be a welcome dinner and they aren't sure it's going to happen … Tiffany is flipping out," a source told Page Six. The category 1 hurricane made landfall on Nov. 10 in Vero Beach, which is about 80 miles north of Mar-a-Lago. Page Six reported that some wedding guests are already in town for the nuptials, but others are set to fly in. The weather, power outages and airport availability, however, could cause some to miss the festivities. According to reports, Mar-a-Lago was evacuated on Nov. 9 because of the storm, but it's set to reopen on Friday, Nov. 11, just before the welcome dinner. "Tiffany is still there. Some guests came in for the week, and they had all these things planned," the source said. "It was going to be a whole over-the-top thing. They had to cancel events today and canceled a golf outing for tomorrow. Everyone is stuck inside."

Boycott talk
Dave Chappelle's rep is denying a report that claims several "Saturday Night Live" writers are boycotting the show this week due to the comedian's previous comments about the transgender community. Dave, who is set to host the iconic skit show for the third time, has been working with "SNL" scribes for several days, and all is normal, the rep said, noting that the writer's meetings have been full. Page Six reported on Nov. 9 that several behind-the-scenes folks were livid over David's hosting gig. "They're not going to do the show," an insider said. "But none of the actors are boycotting." The rep, though, plainly said, "There was no evidence of a boycott." Still, it seems that not everyone on staff is thrilled. Following the announcement that Dave would host the show, "SNL" writer Celeste Yim reportedly wrote on Instagram Stories: "I'm trans and non-binary. I use they/them pronouns. Transphobia is murder and it should be condemned."

Things left unsaid
Despite reports claiming Aaron Carter planned to bury the hatchet with his brother, Nick Carter, the two never got around to actually having a conversation. In light of Aaron's untimely death, they'll never get that chance. Aaron and Nick had a tumultuous relationship for years. Back in 2017, the Backstreet Boys singer and Aaron's twin sister, Angel, hit the "I Want Candy" crooner with a restraining order. However, it seems that things calmed down of late and TMZ said Angel got word to Aaron "that she and Nick loved him and wanted him to get healthy." Because of this, "Aaron believed he was on good terms with Nick in his final day," the site said. After Aaron's death, Nick said his heart was "broken." "Even though my brother and I have had a complicated relationship, my love for him has never ever faded. I have always held on to the hope that he would somehow, someday want to walk a healthy path and eventually find the help that he so desperately needed," Nick said on Instagram. "I will miss my brother more than anyone will ever know. I love you Chizz. Now you can finally have the peace you could never find here on earth."
Tequila lawsuit over
Everybody has their number. Kendall Jenner has settled a lawsuit with the owners of Texas-based Tequila 512 after the booze company alleged that the reality star blatantly ripped off its scheme and idea with her 818 tequila brand. As part of the agreement, TMZ said both companies can use their respective digits, which are an ode to their home bases (512 is the area code for Austin, TX., and 818 is the area code for the San Fernando Valley, where the Kardashian-Jenner clan live.) While most terms of the settlement aren't known, 512 will add a "Est. 2012" to its label, making it clear that it's been around longer than Kendall's sauce. "Tequila 512's lawsuit against 818 Tequila has been resolved," 512's CEO told the webloid. "The parties have agreed that they will each have the right to use their existing names and they will both make changes to their labels to clarify that they are not related to each other. Tequila 512 has dismissed its case." Someone get us some salt and a lime.
Lack of wedding memories
Britney Spears remembers being at her June 9 wedding, but she wasn't really "present." In a lengthy Instagram on Nov. 9, the pop star hinted that her 13-year conservatorship was a culprit in her mental state. "Wow I got married this year not sure I was honestly that PRESENT because I haven't had real consciousness in 3 years," she said in a since-deleted post. "There was a lot of talking and SPEAKING at the party !!! Not for me unfortunately because when you can't breathe your body cant relax enough to speak !!!" Britney said she can "breathe" now, but didn't clarify what the message meant. "Its been a while for me !!! I CAN NOW … I just hope my family breathes well today !!!" she continued.
Edited out
The newest episode of "The Kardashians" centered on Kim Kardashian preparing for the 2022 Met Gala and losing weight to fit into Marilyn Monroe's iconic dress. Part of the episode showed her traveling to Ripley's Believe It Or Not in Florida to have a dress fitting, but someone from her life at the time was basically nowhere to be found. Although previous video from that day last spring showed Pete Davidson by her side, eagle-eyed viewers noticed that he was edited out of the episode. The only on-screen evidence of Pete's presence was a brief moment where his plaid shirt — not his face — was seen. At the time of the fitting, Kim and Pete were very much together. She even leaned on him while stepping into the dress, TMZ video from last spring showed. Kim and Pete attended the Met Gala together. The split in August after nine months together.
