Joe Alwyn shares rare comment on Taylor swift romance
After nearly six years together, Taylor Swift's romance with Joe Alwyn is clearly the real deal, even if the notoriously private couple eschews most red-carpet and social media displays of coupledom. For Joe, that privacy choice is about something bigger than the pair's collective celebrity status. "It's not really [because I] want to be guarded and private, it's more a response to something else," the "Conversations With Friends" star recently told Elle UK in a rare comment on their relationship. "We live in a culture that is so increasingly intrusive … the more you give — and frankly, even if you don't give it — something will be taken," he said. Taylor, meanwhile, has said she keeps her life Joe on the DL because that keeps it feeling "real" and "normal," to an extent. "I think that in knowing him and being in the relationship I am in now, I have definitely made decisions that have made my life feel more like a real-life and less like just a storyline to be commented on," the singer told Paul McCartney in a December 2020 Rolling Stone interview. "Whether that's deciding where to live, who to hang out with, when to not take a picture … it's really just trying to find bits of normalcy," she added.

Expectant parents Rihanna and A$AP Rocky appear to be doing just fine, despite the cheating rumors that descended on Rocky earlier this week, courtesy of a viral tweet. On April 15, the singer and rapper were spotted arriving at an airport in Barbados, where RiRi grew up, according to video published by The Shade Room. The couple's getaway comes as designer Amina Muaddi — the woman identified on Twitter as Rocky's alleged extra-curricular love interest — slammed the cheating allegation as "vile." The person who originally tweeted the claim has since apologized. "Hi all, so I'd like to address the situation," fashion influencer Louis Pisano tweeted on Friday, April 15. "Last night I made a dumb decision to tweet some information I had received. I'm not going to talk about sources, blame others for a discussion that was started, etc because at the end of the day I made the decision to draft that tweet, press send and put that out with my name on it. So I'd like to formally apologize to all parties I involved with my actions and for my reckless tweets. I fully accept the consequences of my actions for my tweets and any harm they caused." He added, "I have no excuse for it … I'm going to take some time away from Twitter to figure out what this looks like and how I can start using my platforms better as I've gotten away from using them for more positive work. Again I apologize to them for this unnecessary drama." Rihanna recently confirmed she's in her third trimester of pregnancy.

Natasha Lyonne confirms Fred Armisen split
Natasha Lyonne and Fred Armisen have called time on their relationship of eight years. The "Russian Doll" star, 43, confirmed the split in an interview with The Hollywood Reporter published on April 13. Asked if she's currently based in Los Angeles, Natasha replied, "I'm not. I had been living there with Fred and during Covid. I honestly think we broke up because I wanted a swimming pool." She's apparently bought a home in Los Angeles since then — a home with a pool, that is — but she's now splitting time between New York City and L.A. As for Fred, 55, Natasha said they're still very close. "We love each other just about as much as two people can love each other and we're still talking all the time, but Freddy doesn't like a swimming pool," she explained. "It might seem like a mundane reason for a breakup, but during that pandemic, you've got to get your laps — I'm like Burt Lancaster in 'The Swimmer.' … So that's the real scandal. I guess I finally am an actual bicoastal," she added. Natasha and Fred were first linked as a couple in 2014. "Russian Doll" returns for its second season April 20.
Kiernan Shipka wants to revisit her 'Mad Men' character, Sally Draper
Someday, "Mad Men" alum Kiernan Shipka hopes to revisit her longtime character on the show, Sally Draper. "I'm not done with Sally," Kiernan, now 22, recently told Entertainment Tonight. "I don't think she'd be in New York. I think she'd do L.A. … but I'm not done with her at all." Kiernan played the daughter of Don Draper (Jon Hamm) and Betty Draper (January Jones) for all seven seasons of "Mad Men," which will soon celebrate its 15th anniversary. She still sees her onscreen parents sometimes, too. Kiernan and January recently hit the town for a "Mad Men" girls' night with their former co-star Christina Hendricks. And the "Swimming With Sharks" star's bumped into Jon more and more, she told ET. "I always love seeing him. I've run into him so much lately. It's so funny," Kiernan mused. She added that she last saw him at an event where she had "a drink in my hand," a potentially awkward moment for a newly legal TV daughter and a now-sober TV dad. "[It] was a weird thing that we had to work through. But we're on the other end of it," she said. "We speak like adults now. It's great."

There's going to be defining moments, and there's going to be not regretful moments — It's just the tapestry of it all, isn't it?" he explains, referencing his turn in the widely panned movie. "Prejudgment is such a f****** disease," says Jamie. "It's a disease in all our culture. In my line of work, sure. But in general, people prejudge people based on f****** anything really, and it's very sad. Look at the reaction when Rob [Pattinson] got cast as Batman. It was like 90 percent negative. Daniel Craig got cast as James Bond — I mean that was 100 percent negative. It was vile what was written. It was actually disturbing when you see the fucking venomous anger that people have over casting decisions. And then guess what? Daniel Craig is f****** brilliant, and it changes the whole energy of Bond. All the naysayers love what Rob has done with Batman."
Chance the Rapper celebrates his birthday by giving away 1500 free meals
Chance the Rapper rang in his 29th trip around the sun on Saturday, April 16, by paying it forward in his hometown. "Happening now Chicago! Holiday Meal Giveaway 8560 S. Cottage Grove. 1,500 free meals for the community," the artist wrote on Instagram alongside a video that showed volunteers helping to pass out the free meals and ice cream treats –the Chance-inspired "Mint Chocolate Chance" from Ben and Jerry's . Chance's latest humanitarian project in the Windy City was coordinated in conjunction with SocialWorks, the non-profit he founded to "empower the youth through the arts, education and civic engagement," according to the organization's website.
Jerry Seinfeld, Jason Alexander honor late co-star Liz Sheridan in the wake of Estelle Harris' death
Less than two weeks after the death of "Seinfeld" alum Estelle Harris, the onscreen mother of Jason Alexander's character, George Costanza, actress Liz Sheridan, who played Jerry's mom, passed away in her sleep on April 15 at age 93, TMZ reported. The stars' back-to-back deaths inspired a slew of social media remembrances from the show's stars. "Liz was always the sweetest, nicest TV mom a son could wish for," Jerry tweeted, adding, "Every time she came on our show it was the coziest feeling for me. So lucky to have known her." Jason later shared a tribute to Liz on Twitter, too, writing, "Oh my Lord, just learning of the passing of Liz Sheridan. She was as gracious and graceful a person and actress as you'll ever meet. Fascinating life. Wonderful lady. Rest well. #RIPLizSheridan." Following Estelle's death on April 2, Jason tweeted, "One of my favorite people has passed – my tv mama, Estelle Harris. The joy of playing with her and relishing her glorious laughter was a treat. I adore you, Estelle. Love to your family. Serenity now and always."
