Big purchase
Home SWEET home, indeed! JAY-Z and Beyonce are the new owners of the most expensive home ever sold in California. On May 19, TMZ reported that the couple closed on a 30,000-square-foot home in Malibu — and it set them back a cool $200 million. And days later on May 22, TMZ firther reported another jaw-dropper: The Grammy winners paid for the place in cash!
Designed by Japanese master architect Tadao Ando, the home — which sits on an eight-acre bluff overlooking the Pacific Ocean — was actually initially listed at $295 million, so Jay and Bey actually scored a deal, as hard as that is to believe. It's the second most expensive residential real estate deal in the country, only trailing a New York City apartment that went for $238 million. Jay and Bey's new California home was previously owned by one of the biggest art collectors in the world.

Admitting his wrongs
Jimmie Allen is publicly apologizing to his estranged wife, Alexis, "for humiliating her with my affair," he wrote in a lengthy post on Instagram on May 18. "I'm embarrassed that my choices have brought shame on her. That's something that she did not deserve at all." The two-year infidelity came to light after Jimmie's former day-to-day manager sued him for sexual assault, harassment and imprisonment, all of which he denies. "I also want to apologize to my children for being a poor example of a man and a father. I'm working on becoming a better person that my kids can be proud of. My goal is to be better than the generation before me," he continued. The Grammy-nominated singer, who is currently expecting a child with Alexis, continued, "This business takes so much from you. It's full of temptations that can cripple you and ruin everything you've built. I'm ashamed that I wasn't strong enough to withstand them. I will no longer be a victim of my weaknesses." In closing, Jimmie urged other to "seek help" when needed. "Don't be afraid of your weakness, surround yourself with people that WILL help you," he wrote. The "Best Shot" singer turned off the comments on the post.
Wet and wild
It doesn't get much more personal than this! Garth Brooks made a stunning (and hilarious) confession: He once showered with Steven Tyler at a baseball stadium. Say what??!? "We were playing the Last Play at Shea Billy Joel, they're getting ready to tear down Shea Stadium in New York and I go out there and I'm late anyway, and they just have the baseball showers," Garth told Kelly Clarkson on her eponymous talk show. "I'm in there showering, getting ready for the show, and I had soap in my eyes, I look around, and there's Steven Tyler. He's showering too. 'Hey, how ya doin'?' And so it was just… How many people get to say that?" Kelly joked that Steven is "rock 'n' roll" so several people might have had showering experiences with the Aerosmith frontman. "You might not be so special, Garth!" she quipped. The "Friends In Low Places" singer went on to call Steven a "beautiful cat" and said the moment was "great."

'Distraught'
Joe Alwyn is getting ready for a cruel summer that involves seeing his ex and her new man out and about together. According to a new report, the actor "feels slighted and is distraught" over Taylor Swift's romance with The 1975's Matty Healy. A source told DailyMail.com that Joe is upset that he put his "trust" in Taylor and was assured that the "Midnights" singer and Matty were just platonic friends. "Joe was aware that Taylor and Matt were making music together and collaborating," the insider said. "She told him that they had become friends, and he trusted her." Still, the source said there was no "overlap" in the two relationships. Back in April, news broke that Taylor and Joe had split after six years of dating. "It wasn't dramatic," a source told Page Six. "[The relationship] just ran its course."
Hospitalized
A Jimmy Buffett concert set for this weekend in South Carolina has been canceled after the singer was hospitalized with an undisclosed issue. "Two days ago, I was just back from a trip to the Bahamas, thawing out from the California 'winter tour,' and chomping at the bit to get to Charleston," he wrote on social media. "I had to stop in Boston for a check-up but wound up back in the hospital to address some issues that needed immediate attention." The "parrothead" leader added, "Growing old is not for sissies, I promise you. I also will promise you that when I am well enough to perform, that is what I'll be doing in the land of She-Crab soup." Get well, Jimmy.
Steps forward
Jeremy Renner is on the run! More than four months after he broke 30-plus bones and nearly died in a snowplow accident, the "Avengers" star is now running again. "First attempt at a very light jog with weight assisted lift for the broken tibia," he wrote alongside an Instagram video of him running on a treadmill. He added, "pain is progress for me." In a conversation with his trainer, Jeremy can be heard saying, "Thank goodness for the titanium."
