Worried about mom, inner circle
Update: Wendy Williams has checked herself into a treatment center after her son publicly worried that her alleged alcohol abuse could be "fatal." "Wendy is at a facility doing her best to be her best," her manager, Will Selby, told Entertainment Tonight. "She's taking it day by day." Wendy's manager — who her son, Kevin Hunter, has issues with — said there's too much "negative information" out there about the former talk show host. "Why don't we just stop for a moment and just say, 'Hey, how is she? Is she doing OK today?'" he added. "Why is that not the focus? Why isn't that what we're talking about on a daily basis?"
Wendy Williams' 22-year-old son is worried that his mother might die from alcohol usage. "We've spoken about it," Kevin Hunter Jr. shared with the US Sun. "I've said, 'This is one thing where you don't know how to approach it normally, and that's fine,' and it's gotten to a point where, yes, it could have that effect that it might be fatal because it affects her way worse than a normal person since it stays in her system." Kevin is not only concerned about his mother's alcoholic intake, but also questions the people she's surrounded herself with, who he believes are exploiting her booze usage. "What's been made more important by the people around her is that while her health may not be great, she needs to keep on earning income, and in my opinion that should not be a priority at all," he said. "And whoever has been hired, they are taking advantage of someone who needs to get better." Wendy's jeweler-turned-manager Will Selby argued that the "majority" of Kevin's claims are false. "I was in Miami with Kevin. I forced him to have a conversation because he seemed a little disgruntled," Will said. "I spoke to him face-to-face, 1,000 percent. I was like, 'If there's a problem, let's talk. If there's an issue, let's have a conversation.' There is so much here that is inaccurate, it's really not worth me commenting."

Playing the villain
Regrets, Katherine Heigl has a few. The "Grey's Anatomy" alum is reflecting on controversial comments she made about several of her past projects — comments that led to her being branded as "difficult." "I was so naive. I got on my soapbox and I had some things to say, and I felt really passionate about this stuff," she told "Grey's" costar Ellen Pompeo as part of Variety's "Actors on Actors" series. "I felt really strongly. I felt so strongly that I also got a megaphone out on my soapbox. There was no part of me that imagined a bad reaction. I felt really justified in how I felt about it and where I was coming from." Back in 2007, the actress said "Knocked Up," a movie she starred in, was "a little sexist" because the women in the film were "humorless and uptight." A year later she received backlash after withdrawing her name from Emmy consideration because she felt she wasn't "given the material this season to warrant an Emmy nomination." After leaving "Grey's" in 2010, the "difficult" narrative followed Katherine. "It took me a minute to really stop being a victim because of the reaction that I got and tuning out all that noise," she said. "I've spent most of my life — I think most women do — being in that people-pleasing mode." She continued, "It's really disconcerting when you feel like you have really displeased everybody. It was not my intention to do so, but I had some things to say, and I didn't think I was going to get such a strong reaction." Once she was in her 30s, the "27 Dresses" star realized she shouldn't worry about naysayer's opinions, which labeled her as "ungrateful" and "unkind." "I literally believed that version, and felt such shame for such a long time, and then had to go, 'Wait. Who am I listening to? I'm not even listening to myself. I know who I am. I don't need anybody to tell me who I am,'" she told Ellen. "Everybody in this world needs to find a way to let their opinions of themselves be the most important things that matters." After changing her mentality, Katherine joked that she got "really comfortable" with her "role as the villain and really enjoyed it."

Cleared and ready to go
Thought you should know… Morgan Wallen is back. The singer has been cleared to sing after being put on doctor-ordered vocal rest in early May. "The doc cleared me to talk and sing… we back," Morgan, 29, wrote on his Instagram Story on Tuesday, June 6. The country superstar's next show is scheduled for June 22 in Chicago. Morgan first announced that 14 shows — from May 18 to June 17 — had to be rescheduled due to "vocal fold trauma." "If I do this the right way then I'll get back to 100%, and [doctors] also said if I don't listen and I keep singing I'll permanently damage my voice," he said at the time. "So for the longevity of my career, this is just the choice I had to make. I hate it, but I love you guys."

Working problem
There's no place like home… and that's the problem. Martha Stewart is lashing out at work-from-home culture, saying it will lead America "down the drain." The lifestyle guru told Footwear News she's on a "rampage" to get people back working in offices. "You can't possibly get everything done working three days a week in the office and two days remotely," she said. "Look at the success of France with their stupid … you know, off for August, blah blah blah. That's not a very thriving country. Should America go down the drain because people don't want to go back to work?"
Homophobic tweet
Justin Bieber's dad has taken down a social media message that was viewed as homophobic. On Wednesday, June 7, Jeremy Bieber took to Twitter to post a rainbow flag with the sarcastic caption, "Don't forget to thank a straight person this month for your existence." The message comes two days after shading Pride Month publicly, tweeting, "We need to celebrate families. U know the reason we're all here! The things this generation glorifies is unbelievable!" Amid a wave of backlash, Jeremy's deleted his new message but shared a new one that essentially doubles down on his anti-LGBTQ post. "Acknowledging the nuclear family is offensive? My apologies to those offended. Was not my intent. Not that my opinion matters," he wrote. Jeremy's followers unloaded on him. TMZ cited several responses, including one that said, "don't forget to thank your son cause he's the reason your electricity hasn't been shut off yet!" Another added, "Yes! thanks straight man, who left your woman at the time raising your child alone. You are definitely the best person to something about family, respect and love." A third said, "No one's thanking flop nepo daddies bye."
Staying youthful
Kim Cattrall isn't afraid to use every tool at her disposal to maintain a youthful look. The "Sex and the City" star recently spoke to The Times about her usage of Botox and fillers. "I'm in my 60s now and I'm all about battling aging in every way I can," she said. "There are so many other alternatives now, treatments that stimulate your own body to fight aging. There are fillers, Botox, there's so many different things that you can investigate and try and see if it's for you." While going overboard is a problem with cosmetic surgery, Kim stressed that it's important to "find the right surgeon" and "look like you." "I want to look like the best version of myself. So, whatever I can do — because thankfully I have funds to do so," she explained. "It's not just a vanity thing. I play a certain kind of woman who looks a certain kind of way. And professionally I am looking after myself."
Workout history
The picture of perfection doesn't come easy. In a chat with InStyle, Jennifer Aniston spoke candidly about beating her body up to maintain peak physical fitness. "When you're in a mindset of, 'I need to do 45 minutes of cardio or I won't get a good workout,' it's daunting," she said. "I believed it for so long. I just burnt out and broke my body." The "Friends" star never realized how much damage she'd done to her body from grueling workouts until her physical therapist gave her a Barbie doll covered in Kinesio tape. The purpose was "to show every injury I've had in the last 15 years," she said.
