Selena Gomez gets a new tattoo
Before returning to the stage for the first time in two years to perform her new singles at the American Music Awards over the weekend, Selena Gomez got in touch with her spiritual side in a very permanent way. On the day of the show, go-to celebrity tattoo artist Bang bang shared photos on Instagram, of what he said was a "housecall" "for the wonderful" singer: a tattoo of praying hands holding rosary beads on the top of her left thigh. The new ink comes on the heels of Selena's last new tat — the matching arrows she and her collaborator Julia Michaels got on their thumbs. Unfortunately, the new body art didn't seem to help quell Selena's anxiety before she sang "Lose You to Love Me" and "Look at her Now." According to People, she suffered a panic attack prior to her performance.

Kendall Jenner's friends and family want her to start a family
Could Kendall Jenner be the next member of the Kardashian-Jenner krewe to welcome a little one? Over the weekend, the model shared photos of herself playing with her nephews, Psalm and Saint West, that had her family and famous friends throwing big support behind the idea of a Kendall mini-me. "Everyone in favor of Fai and i starting a family say 'I' ✋🏼," Kendall captioned the pics, one of which showed her pal (and rumored romantic interest) Fai Khadra had joined her for the nephew playdate. Fai quickly responded with a family emoji, according to E! News, while Kylie Jenner, Kris Jenner and Kim Kardashian West all wrote "I" in the comments. Others who chimed in on the suggestion included Hailey Baldwin, who wrote, "IIIIIII MEEEEE I SAY YES I DOOO," and Gigi Hadid who added an eyeball emoji to the mix of reactions. Kendall, who has long been fiercely private about her love life, has been hanging out with Fai, a 28-year-old musician and model, regularly for the past few months.

Kim Kardashian opens up about how her relationship with Kanye West has evolved
As the decade comes to a close next month, New York Magazine is putting a spotlight on some of the folks whose presence in media and pop culture "helped shape" the 2010s. Kim Kardashian West gets a prime spot among those subjects for "[transcending] the television show that made her famous" by studying law and moving into criminal justice reform advocacy work. She also talks to the magazine about her relationship with her husband of five years, Kanye West, and how his interest in fashion and design has helped inspire her to "elevate" her own sense of style. At the beginning of the decade, she says, "I didn't know who Carine Roitfeld was. I didn't know any of that until I'd say, like, 2012, 2013, when I met Kanye. Well, not met, but really connected with him romantically." Asked how the couple's relationship has "evolved," Kim observes, "the one consistent thing is our relationship has never stopped being fun." That seems to go for their often divergent opinions about things like politics, too. "And it's OK to not understand each other," she says. "It's OK to not have the same exact feelings all the time. It's just about figuring out how do we grow from that? or what's the lesson from that? and giving each other space and time to figure that out." She adds: "You should see what he's working on now. He's fascinated with buildings and homes. He wants to do low-income housing and have the design be elevated: simple and cool and affordable. He really supports James Turrell in his Crater and they're working on stuff together that will be exciting. He's building the community." According to NY mag, Turrell, an award-winning visual artist, has "spent decades" creating an observatory out of a cinder cone crater in Arizona.
Kanye West debuts his first opera — two hours late — to mixed reviews
Kanye West's home design work, which Kim Kardashian West gushed about to New York Magazine about recently, isn't the only new project on the multi-hyphenate's docket this month. Over the weekend, 'Ye debuted his first opera, the Bible-inspired "Nebuchadnezzar," at the Hollywood Bowl. By most accounts, it did not go well. According to The Guardian, ticket prices were dramatically reduced, but tickets were still available just a few hours before showtime. Speaking of showtime, the opera reportedly started at least two hours late. During the delay, stagehands could be seen "frantically building the set," according to the outlet, which noted that even watching the performance on Tidal's livestream allowed viewers to see things they probably shouldn't have, including the singers reading from their scripts. The opera itself reportedly featured some pretty music but like other outlets, The Guardian didn't find those moments helped Kanye overcome his "forceful and halting" reading of a shortened version of the Book of Daniel. At the end, the rapper reportedly asked the audience to rise and put their hands in the air as a show of respect for God. The outlet noticed the move essentially "guaranteed a standing ovation."
Victoria Beckham jokes her son Romeo 'used' her to boost his TikTok numbers
Victoria Beckham is feeling a bit used by her17-year-old son, Romeo Beckham. During an appearance on "The Ellen DeGeneres Show," on Monday, Nov. 25, the designer recalled how she didn't figure out Romeo was capitalizing her fame earlier this month until after she'd agreed to dance with him for a social media post. "He came home the other day and he said, 'You know, Mom, I've just joined TikTok, will you do a dance with me?'" Victoria shared. "And I was like, 'Yeah, what should we dance to?' He said the Spice Girls.' And then he took my phone, he posted it on my Instagram, and he said, 'That'll get my numbers up.'" According to People, the post Romeo added to his mom's Instagram Story included a directive to "Go watch our tik Tok 😂," with the hashtags "#spicegirls" and "poshmom." It wasn't long before Romeo snapped up 142,000 followers on his TikTok. "He used me!" Victoria kidded. Before the end of the segment, though, she managed to get him back witha little dig, telling Ellen the dance "was a lot of fun, but I have to say, I think that Romeo definitely takes after his dad with his moves."
Hoda Kotb's engagement ring: All the details
Congrats are in order for Hoda Kotb, who announced on the Monday, Nov. 25, edition of "Today" that her longtime beau, Joel Schiffman, put a ring on it while the two were vacationing in Mexico recently. Page Six checked in with jewelry expert, Kathryn Money, for some deets on the sparkler and learned the ring likely cost upwards of $40,000. "Hoda's elegant engagement ring appears to feature an estimated three to four-carat elongated radiant-cut diamond surrounded by a halo of sapphires set in a diamond-adorned white gold or platinum band," Kathryn said. "Depending on the quality and specific characteristics of the center gemstone, we estimate the cost of the ring at approximately $40,000 and $70,000." Hoda said Joel popped the question after dinner on the beach as she was "eating the churros" they had for dessert. "He said some beautiful things," she told viewers, "and got down on one knee and said, 'Will you be my wife?'"
Charlize Theron and Nicole Kidman explain why 'Bombshell' is so nuanced
"Bombshell" stars Charlize Theron, Nicole Kidman and Margot Robbie recently sat down with W magazine for a candid talk about their forthcoming Fox News movie, "Bombshell," which tells the story of Roger Ailes' interactions with Megyn Kelly, Gretchen Carlson and Kayla Pospisil. And as Charlize and Nicole both pointed out, they made a point of showing how much more complicated sexual harassment can be when it happens at work. "For women to be betrayed in their workplace by a mentor who is going to make your career possible is very confusing," Charlize explains. "The water is murky. I love the nuance of that in our film, we don't tell the story of the perfect victims of Fox. We try to tell the story of the messy, emotional dynamics between boss and employee. In 'Bombshell,' our monsters don't always look like monsters, which is how it is in real life." Adds Nicole: "It's always a little dangerous to give a predator like Ailes any measure of humanity, but to get at the problem of harassment, you have to understand how someone like Ailes manipulated these women." "Bombshell" hits theaters Dec. 20.
Wendy Williams rants about Taylor Swift's 'unbelievable' Artist of the Decade win at the AMAs
Wendy Williams apparently spent Sunday, Nov. 24, watching the American Music Awards — and gritting her teeth about one of the night's big winners. "Taylor Swift made history, which is like unbelievable to me," she said on Monday's "Wendy Williams" show, according to TooFab. The TV host went on to acknowledge Taylor's talent, saying, "good for her … she won six awards," then griped that other artists who have won fewer AMAs than Taylor are more deserving. "Now she has a total of 29 awards. That sounds unbelievable, but what sounds unforgivable, she's got more awards than Michael Jackson!" Wendy said, complaining that Prince and Madonna have earned fewer AMAs than Taylor, as well. "And Artist of the Decade?! Is she who's been firing you up for the last 10 years?!" Wendy hollered, earning cheers of agreement from the studio audience. "But you know what? I think that taste has cheapened through the years in a lot of things," she said. "The quality of clothes we buy, they get tattered and torn real quick. The quality of food we buy, we're being poisoned by a lot of crap. Just life in general I think has cheapened and I don't mean this in a bad way to Taylor, but it's unbelievable … I appreciate her, but Artist of the Decade?"
Halsey throws major shade at the Grammys with AMAs speech
After tweeting and deleting a comment about her frustration with the Recording Academy, which gave her zero Grammy nominations this year, Halsey used her American Music Awards acceptance speech to declare the AMAs a more meaningful awards show than the Grammys. While picking up an AMA for favorite pop/rock song for "Without Me," the singer recalled watching awards shows as a kid and thinking the awards themselves represented a metaphorical "validation for the soul-crushing and heartache-inducing work that they put into writing a song and bringing it to life," (via Page Six). She said she "believed that fairytale" then, implying that as she's gotten older, she no longer sees much meaning to some of the awards shows. "But that's OK because I'm up here right now and I am so thankful to the AMAs because they're the largest fan-voted award show," she continued. "And I'm thankful to the fans because they're the people who really give a s— about music and I'm thankful to the AMAs for giving those people a voice … I'm going to keep making music for them and for us. Sometimes you grow up and the stuff you believed in starts to lose its magic but music never does because real fans, real artists, and real stories keep that music alive." On Twitter last week, she deleted a tweet about the "biggest song" of her career failing to get a Grammy nomination, then replaced it with a request to fans not to
