Steven Seagal tells Putin allies 'we stand together' in Moscow
Steven Seagal celebrated his 70th birthday over the weekend in Moscow with allies of his pal, Vladimir Putin, according to video footage circulating on Twitter and an April 12 report from The Times. The Russian president did not appear to be at the bash — he's presumably busy invading Ukraine and navigating the consequences of the U.S. and Western Europe's sanctions — but Steven could be seen toasting members of the controversial leader's inner circle in the clip. "Each and everyone one of you, you are my family and my friends," the action star says at one point. "And I love all of you and we stand together, through thick and through thin." The Times identifies party guests as Margarita Simonyan, editor-in-chief of the state-funded Russian broadcaster RT, and TV presenter Vladimir Solovyev, a vocal Kremlin supporter whose Italian villas were recently seized amid crackdowns and sanctions on Putin's allies. Steven once called Putin "one of the greatest world leaders, if not the greatest world leader alive today." The actor was given Russian citizenship in 2016 and was barred from Ukraine the following year.
Why Sandra Bullock can't watch her 'Lost City' co-star in 'Magic Mike' anymore
Channing Tatum's set to reprise his male stripper role in the forthcoming "Magic Mike's Last Dance," but chances are his "Lost City" co-star, Sandra Bullock, won't be watching it. While shooting the comedy, which premiered on Paramount+ last month, Sandra and Channing hit it off as friends, as did their daughters (albeit after a rough start). While promoting "The Lost City" on ITV's "Lorraine" in the U.K. this week, Sandra was asked she's a fan of the "Magic Mike" franchise. "You know what, I loved it. I loved it a lot," she said of Channing's first turn as "Magic Mike." "And I loved the second one a lot," she continued. "Now that I know him, I don't know if I'll be comfortable watching it," Sandra explained before turning to Channing. "It's gonna be weird, because you were someone else [in the movies]," she told him. "When I watch the movies … and now that I know you normally, it's going to be odd watching you do … that thing that you do!" "That thing" Channing does, of course, is dance around a stage looking buff while removing various articles of clothing. When he suggested she check out the Las Vegas stage show version, "Magic Mike Live," instead, Sandra told him pointedly, "I want to come to the show, but you just can't be dancing in it." Ever the gentleman, Channing promised her he wouldn't be dancing: "I'll sit next to you during the show." Um, sounds like a win-win to us, Sandra.

Pamela Anderson makes her Broadway debut in 'Chicago'
Pamela Anderson made her Broadway debut on Tuesday, April 12, starring as Roxie Hart in the musical, "Chicago." "I have never worked this hard. It suits me. I love the challenge — long rehearsals. I love to go home tired and feel a sense of accomplishment," she recently told E! News of her prep for the show. "I am soaking it all up like a sponge. I have always imagined myself as a dancer or singer (in my head), but I never thought it would be a reality," she continued, adding that she's "getting stronger" as a singer "every day." Pamela, 54, will perform in the iconic role for eight weeks. She's also currently writing a memoir and working on a documentary about her life for Netflix. (The film, which she's said will prove she's "not a victim, but a survivor," was announced last month amid buzz around the fictionalized Hulu series about Pam's relationship with Tommy Lee, "Pam & Tommy.") Asked about her hopes for the opening night of "Chicago," Pam told E!, "I want people to leave the theater with a new sense of knowing who I truly am — raw, a real person with deep feelings and depth." Pam's Broadway run continues at the Ambassador Theater in New York City through June 5.

Brooke Burke on 'diva' 'DWTS' Tyra Banks: 'You are just not the star'
"Dancing With the Stars" has yet to confirm whether Tyra Banks will return for Season 31 after the fan backlash she's faced since taking over for longtime hosts Tom Bergeron and Erin Andrews. Former host Brooke Burke, meanwhile, seems to be siding with Tyra's critics. On David Yontef's "Behind the Velvet Rope" podcast this week, Brooke described Tyra as "a diva" in the host role, according to Page Six. "There's nothing wrong with that, and I'm not saying anything bad about her — be a diva!" Brooke clarified. "It's [just] not the place to be a diva." Brooke, who co-hosted Seasons 10 through 17 with Tom Bergeron after winning Season 7, conceded that it was a "tough transition" for Tyra when she took over after Tom and Erin's ousters. "Change is hard for everyone. They've gone through a lot on that show, that's for sure," Brooke said. Still, she added, "you are just not the star" while hosting the competition series. "Like, it is just not about you as the host, right? So, yeah, I think Tyra is great in a shining role. I will just say that." Tyra's faced criticism for everything from her scene-stealing fashion choices to major flubs on live TV, including when she announced the wrong couples during Season 29. "I was blamed for it, and it wasn't me," she said at the time, citing the people in the control room who feed her lines. "… I think that's very important to say." For its next season, "Dancing" will leave ABC and air and Disney+.
Kim Kardashian hints she might want another child
Mother of four, Kim Kardashian, just hinted she could see herself having more kids. In a new interview with "Access" published this week, Kim, along with her sister and mom, were asked which of the five siblings was most likely to end up with six children, a la their mother, Kris Jenner. Everyone — Kim, Kris, Kourtney Khloe, Kendall and Kylie — picked Khloe. Kim, however, also picked herself. Whether that means she wants her boyfriend, Pete Davidson, to be the dad for a fifth child remains to be seen. But she certainly sounded open to making her relationship with the "Saturday Night Live" star last. Asked if he's in her life "for the long time or the good time," Kim said, "All of the above, hopefully." Elsewhere in the interview, she described Pete's family members as "lovely" and "amazing," and said she hopes the feeling is mutual. Kim, 40, started dating the 28-year-old comic last year after splitting from Kanye West.

Lovebirds Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck are back in the market for a new home. After the escrow on a $55 million estate in the Bel-Air section of Los Angeles fell through, the newly engaged couple was spotted touring a massive,14-bedroom home famously built by Aaron Spelling and his wife, Candy, on Tuesday, April 12. According to the Daily Mail, the Spellings completed construction on what became known as "Spelling Manor" in 1990 before Candy sold it to heiress Petra Ecclestone in 2011. Petra reportedly dumped $20 million worth of renovations into the digs and sold it to an anonymous buyer for nearly $120 million. Its now listed for a cool $165 mil, per the Mail's report, and features luxe amenities like a 100 parking-space garage, a bowling alley, a hair salon, a tennis court and a movie theater. The same day the pair checked out the pad, Jen revealed new details about how Ben popped the question (the second time) in her On the JLo newsletter, telling insiders he proposed with a green diamond — her favorite color — while she was lounging in a bubble bath. Jen and Ben were previously engaged in the early 2000s before calling off the wedding and separating. They rekindled their romance last year.
Gillian Anderson details 'slightly intimate' Bill Clinton exchange
Gillian Anderson plays Eleanor Roosevelt on Showtime's "The First Lady," but in real-life, she had a pretty memorable brush with a future president. During an appearance on Jimmy Kimmel's April 12 show, "The X-Files" alum recalled meeting Bill Clinton at a lunch in the Hollywood Hills when he was running for office ahead of the 1992 election. He made quite an impression, too. "He did the most miraculous thing in the world, that thing that he does where he shakes your hand and then he grabs your elbow at the same time," Gillian said. "He holds your arm further up — slightly intimate little thing — makes eye contact, then he moves on to the next person. Then he looks back at you." Jimmy quipped that when he met Bill Clinton, he also got the arm move, sans "the look-back." Maybe the "look-back" made all the difference, but whatever it was, Gillian, 53, said she assumed she'd hear from the now 75-year-old former president after the lunch. "I went home, I thought — this was in the days of answering machines — I literally thought that I was going to go home to a message from him," she said. "I did. It was that real." Asked if she voted for him, she said she did "even though he didn't call," spurring Jimmy to joke, "He's probably going to call now." Cuba Gooding Jr takes plea deal in sexual misconduct case
On Wednesday, April 13, Cuba Gooding Jr. pleaded guilty to one count of forcible touching and will not face jail time, thanks a plea deal in his sexual misconduct case, TMZ reports. The forcible touching allegation was made by a woman who said the actor kissed her without consent at LAVO nightclub in New York City in 2019. It's one of three alleged incidents for which Cuba's facing misdemeanor charges. A second woman claimed the star touched her chest at a rooftop bar in New York City, while a third alleged he pinched her rear and made a sexually suggestive comment while she was working as a server at TAO Downtown, also in the Big Apple, in 2018. Prosecutors tell TMZ Cuba's deal requires him to continue his treatment for alcohol and behavior modification for six months and avoid further arrests. If he meets those terms, he will reportedly be allowed to tweak the plea to harassment in the second degree. Otherwise, he could be looking at up to a year behind bars.
