Picture issue
Rebel Wilson is persona non grata at Disneyland… temporarily, at least. The "Bridesmaids" actress revealed that her Disney sin was taking an "illegal" photo inside one of the park's secret bathrooms. "I did get banned from Disneyland for 30 days because I took a photo inside a secret bathroom, which is illegal, at Disneyland," she said on "The Daily Show" in early March. But the actress, a Disney junkie, will feel no pain from the banning. "They called me up and said, 'Rebel, what 30 days did you not want to come to Disneyland because you're away filming a movie or something?'" she said. "And I was like, 'Oh, well, June would be fine.'" Ironically, the banning comes just days after Rebel popped the question to her partner, Ramona Agruma, at Disneyland.
A few days later, Rebel dished on an experience she had with Meghan Markle. While speaking to Andy Cohen, the "Pitch Perfect" star explained that she was with her mother when she met Duchess Meghan and Prince Harry in Santa Barbara, California, via a mutual friend. "[He] could not have been nicer," Rebel said of Harry. "Meghan was not as cool. She wasn't as naturally warm. And then my mom, being Australian, just asked her all these slightly rude questions … like, 'Where are your kids?' and things like that. So maybe that's why she [wasn't happy]."
Looking for a payday
Tiger Woods and his girlfriend of more than five years have split up — and the breakup is getting nasty. In fact, Erica Herman is swinging for the financial fences. On March 8, TMZ broke the news that Erica filed legal documents seeking to release her from a nondisclosure agreement she signed when she started dating the golf legend in the summer of 2017. The report was the first indication that they'd called it quits following more than five years of coupledom. (People magazine later reported the duo split in October 2022.) According to TMZ, Erica is arguing that her NDA is unenforceable under the terms of the federal Speak Out Act, which prohibits the enforceability of an NDA that was agreed to before a dispute arises involving sexual assault or sexual harassment. (She has not accused the professional golfer of either.) People reported that immediately after the split, Erica filed a lawsuit claiming Tiger owes her $30 million for kicking her out of the home they shared — which he owns — while they were an item. She claims she made a verbal agreement with him and his trust that would allow her to continue living on the property for another five years. A lawyer for Tiger's trust claims Erica "responded to the breakup by filing this lawsuit," which broke the terms of her NDA.
Living situation
A March 8 report claimed that Demi Moore had essentially moved in with ex-husband Bruce Willis amid his dementia diagnosis. However, on the heels of the RadarOnline.com claim, the actor's current wife, Emma Heming, denied it. "Let's nip this one in the bud. This is so dumb. Please stop," she wrote on her Instagram Story. Bruce and Demi, who were married for 13 years and share three children, have had a close relationship for years. "Demi has moved in, and she is not leaving until the very end," a source alleged to Radar. "At first no one outside the family could understand what Demi was doing living with her ex and his new wife, but now it makes sense. Demi has been a rock for the family and is determined to make sure every day Bruce has left on earth will be filled with love."
Paparazzi picture fallout
Back in September 2022, Cara Delevingne went viral after paparazzi pictures showed her disheveled, barefoot, smoking and hanging out the back of an SUV. Those pictures caused her embarrassment and shame, she told Vogue in its newest cover story, out March 8 — but those images may have also saved her life, as she checked herself into rehab shortly after. "I hadn't slept. I was not OK," she said of the photos, which were taken after she returned from the Burning Man festival. "It's heartbreaking because I thought I was having fun, but at some point it was like, OK, I don't look well. You know, sometimes you need a reality check, so in a way those pictures were something to be grateful for." Friends, it seemed, were worried about the "Only Murders In The Building" star around this time. On the heels of the snaps, Margot Robbie was pictured looking distraught after leaving Cara's home.
The model-turned-actress eventually embarked on a thorough 12-step program. "Before I was always into the quick fix of healing, going to a weeklong retreat or to a course for trauma, say, and that helped for a minute, but it didn't ever really get to the nitty-gritty, the deeper stuff," she told the magazine. "This time I realized that 12-step treatment was the best thing, and it was about not being ashamed of that. The community made a huge difference. The opposite of addiction is connection, and I really found that in 12-step."
Character love
Gina Carano will always have love for her "The Mandalorian" character, Cara Dune. In early March, the actress penned a gratitude-filled letter to fans who supported her after Disney fired her in February 2021. "You'll never know how much that support matters and makes a difference," she said. "It was an honor to play Cara Dune, she will always have a special place in my heart." Gina ended her post with Cara's signature quote, "Until our paths cross."
Health battle
Bindi Irwin has been battling endometriosis for the past decade and she's undergone surgery to correct her health problem, she revealed on Instagram on March 7. "For 10yrs I've struggled with insurmountable fatigue, pain & nausea. Trying to remain a positive person & hide the pain has been a very long road. These last 10yrs have included many tests, doctors visits, scans, etc.," she wrote alongside a photo of herself in a hospital bed. "Going in for surgery was scary but I knew I couldn't live like I was. Every part of my life was getting torn apart because of the pain." The daughter of late "Crocodile Hunter" star Steve Irwin said that doctors found 37 lesions and a "chocolate cyst." Her surgeon even wondered how she lived with so much pain for so long, she said, adding, "validation for years of pain is indescribable."
Chance meeting
Four years after Margot Robbie starred in "Bombshell," she had a chance encounter with one of the real-life subjects of the film: Megyn Kelly. "Bombshell encounter in Deer Valley Utah," Megyn captioned an Instagram photo of herself with Margot on March 7. "She was gracious & friendly. Kind of weird for both of us since she spent months with the 'fake me' for a movie. Many thanks, Margot Robbie." In 2019's "Bombshell," Charlize Theron portrayed Megyn, whereas Margot played Kayla Pospisil, a fictional character based on several women's accounts of working at Fox News for the late Roger Ailes. Megyn famously said she had "nothing to do" with the movie.
Heartbreaking pregnancy reveal
Aubrey O'Day has suffered a miscarriage. In speaking to E! News on March 6, the former Danity Kane singer revealed that she lost her unborn baby. "I'm beyond heartbroken to announce that I've had a miscarriage. This isn't my first pregnancy, but it is the first time I was mentally healthy and in a physically prepared place to care for another life," she wrote on Instagram. "I've had moments where I've internalized what happened and blamed myself but luckily I realized there isn't only one seat at the table." With the loss fresh in her mind, Aubrey hopes to help other miscarriage sufferers heal. Aubrey announced her pregnancy at the SPiN Awards gala in January.
