"I love all children. No child should ever have to suffer, and I'm willing to do my part to try and keep as many of them as I can as healthy and safe as possible," the country music icon said in a statement. It's the second time in the past few years that the singer-actress has made a major donation to VUMC: In April 2020, she donated $1M to the organization's COVID-19 research efforts.

On the May 26, 2022, episode of "The Kardashians," Kim Kardashian revealed that she has "like 30,000 pieces" of clothing from her "different fashion eras" in a storage facility near her home in the Los Angeles area. Cameras rolled as the reality star gave an inside look at her collection — racks and racks and boxes upon boxes of clothing and accessories. "I have so much stuff. … I have thousands and thousands of clothes," she said, adding that she even kept the items Kanye West infamously told her to get rid of when he cleaned out her closet early in their relationship.

It looks like Dwayne Johnson will be winning the Son of the Year Award this year… again. On June 4, 2022, The Rock took to Instagram to show off the new house he bought his mother, Ata Johnson: "I surprised my mom and bought her a new home," he captioned a video of his mother holding back tears while touring her new digs for the very first time. "Took me and my design team eight weeks to get it ready, where she could walk through her front door for the very first time and everything she saw was brand new and a total surprise. I've been lucky enough to have bought her a few homes over the years, but this one is special as she's told me over and over these past few years, 'After a lifetime of traveling, I want this home to be my last. That's my dream.' Mom, there's no greater feeling than to make you happy — welcome home." He also shared a video of his mom touring her new family room and a clip of her reacting to her new "Smackdown Room," which is filled with her "treasures" — Dwayne Johnson memorabilia from over the years including posters, trophies, his old football helmet, a wrestling championship belt and more. "This is her favorite room to bring guests to and it's my least favorite because the last thing I want to do is stand in a DJ shrine while people look around … at all the stuff I've done. No thanks," he joked in the caption. According to the New York Post, the A-list actor dropped $3.48M on the six-bedroom, four-and-a-half bathroom, 4,400-square-foot home in Encino, California.

He did it again! On June 16, 2022, Dwayne Johnson took to Instagram to show off the new home he bought for his cousin, wrestler Tamina Snuka. "Hard to explain these emotions for all of us as I led @saronasnukawwe through her new door. This one felt good. Surprise cuz — enjoy your new home!!" he captioned a video of himself unveiling Tamina's new digs. But that wasn't the end of his generosity… The following day, The Rock returned to Instagram to reveal that he also bought his cousin a new car: "Now that you got your new house, we figured that you needed a ride. … Enjoy your new car," he said in a video unveiling Tamina's brand new matte black Cadillac. "Enjoy your new ride @saronasnukawwe," he wrote in the caption.

According to Page Six, Shaquille O'Neal covered the bill for every party dining at the upscale Chinese restaurant Jue Lan Club in New York City on June 12, 2022. The former basketball champ was reportedly eating with a mystery woman when, according to a source, he anonymously footed the bill for more than 40 tables to the tune of "well over $25,000." He also left an "extremely generous" tip — "the biggest tip they've ever received," the source said.

Growing your body hair for work? Only in Hollyweird! During a chat with Courteney Cox for Variety's "Actors on Actors" series — which debuted on YouTube on June 17, 2022 — Faith Hill said that she loathed growing out her armpit hair for her role on "1883." She stopped shaving "a few months" before she shot the Paramount+ miniseries, she said, calling it a "really difficult" experience. "I don't laser [my body hair], but I may now so I never have to do that again. It really grossed me out," she admitted. "All due respect to those who love that — and all that freedom, woo! After the UberFacts Twitter account tweeted that the rapper "employs a full-time blunt roller who makes between $40,000 and $50,000 a year," the "Gin and Juice" chart-topper replied, "Their salary went up!!" He added that the pay bump was due to "inflation."

"We made more money from Depp's visit than we did from our busiest night of the week, which is a Saturday when we have around 400 diners," the restaurant's operations director told DailyMail.com, adding that he let the group "have the whole place" to themselves because he was worried the actor "might be bothered by other diners."
