Jaime King
Named after the main character on the 19070s TV series Bionic Woman, Jaime King's blonde locks, bubbly personality and dazzling beauty were her ticket out of the Cornhusker State. After being discovered by a New York agent at a local modeling school, she became a much-booked fashion model, seen in spreads in Vogue, Elle and Cosmo and often known by her nickname James, while still in her teens. She ran into trouble handling the high life. She struggled with heroin addiction from 14 to 19, but a drug-related death of her photographer beau in 1997 motivated King to clean up her act. Around the same time, she started to segue into acting. Her first major gig was as Johnny Depp's estranged daughter in Blow (2001). She periodically shows up in films including Peal Harbor, Sin City, White Chicks and The Spirit. A regular on TV (The Class, Gary Unmarried, Kitchen Confidential), she currently stars in the CW series Hart of Dixie. After dating Kid Rock and Seann William Scott, she married director Kyle Newman, who helmed her film Fanboys and the Lana Del Rey video in which she appears, in 2007. She has since been very open and public about her infertility issues and five miscarriages. Her story has a happy ending though. She gave birth to her son James in October 2013.
