Although little is still known about Jamie Foxx's mystery medical condition, the rehab facility treating him may offer some clues. On Monday, May 14, TMZ reported that the Oscar winner is receiving medical treatment at a Chicago rehab facility that specializes in stroke recovery, traumatic brain injury rehab, spinal cord injury rehab and cancer rehabilitation. Jamie has been at the facility since late April and he is "recovering well," the report claims. Ever since Jamie was hospitalized in Atlanta on April 12, the Foxx clan has been very tightlipped about his health. However, on May 12, Jamie's daughter Corinne offered an update while combating reports that her dad was in dire shape. "Update from the family: Sad to see how the media runs wild. My Dad has been out of the hospital for weeks, recuperating," she wrote on her Instagram Story. "In fact, he was playing pickleball yesterday!" TMZ indicated that the facility offers an adaptive sports and fitness program, which could explain the game of pickleball. Further, over the weekend, Jamie's family members seemed to be in good spirits after visiting him at the facility, which is touted as the top physical medicine and rehabilitation center in the country.
Jamie, meanwhile, is still making professional news, too — It was announced on Monday that he and Corinne will host a new upcoming music competition series titled "We Are Family." Since his hospitalization last month, Jamie has said little. But, on May 3, he shared two posts on Instagram after weeks of silence. "Appreciate all the love!!! Feeling blessed," he wrote on his page. He also thanked Nick Cannon for swooping in to help with his game show "Beat Shazam," writing, "Appreciate ya my boy @nickcannon. See u all soon."

Speech situation
Slim Shady to the rescue. As a kid, Ed Sheeran developed a fairly debilitating stutter that he couldn't seem to shake. But then, Eminem entered the pop star's life and the stutter was fixed. "I was going through all sorts of speech therapy. When I was 9, my uncle bought me The Marshall Mathers LP, he just said to my dad, 'This guy's the next Bob Dylan.' My dad didn't really clock it, he's just like, 'OK, Edward's gonna go and listen to that,'" Ed told Howard Stern. The "Shivers" singer dove headfirst into the album, and the rest is history. "And by learning that record, and by rapping it back, to back, to back, to back, it cured my stutter." Em and Ed are now close, as they've recorded several songs together. Ed, who admits to being somewhat emotional around Slim Shady, also joined the rap God at the "Lose Yourself" performer's Rock and Roll Hall of Fame induction ceremony in November 2022. "He asked me to play 'Stan' with him at the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame," Ed recalled. "I remember getting the call to do it… and I'm shooting 14 music videos back-to-back. It was on my day off from shooting the music videos and I was like, I can't say no. So I got a plane straight after my music video, flew there, sung and then that night flew back. And it was really worth it."

RIP
Nine months after passing away from injuries sustained in a fiery car crash, Anne Heche is now resting among the stars. A rep for the actress confirmed that the "Men in Trees" star was laid to rest on Mother's Day at the Hollywood Forever Cemetery – Cathedral Mausoleum, an area reserved for those in showbiz. Her crypt, TMZ says, is across from Chris Cornell and Johnny Ramone and it is next to Mickey Rooney. "She loved everyone so passionately and deeply and her children, her legacy, thank everyone for their support and love through this difficult time and are grateful to be able to honor their mother, [Sunday] on Mother's Day," Anne's rep said. The actress was rendered comatose and badly burned with damage to her lungs after crashing her car into a house in Los Angeles on Aug. 5, 2022. She was taken off life support one week later.
Cooking with Kim
It seems that there's a lot left to be desired when it comes to Kim Kardashian's cooking. In honor of Mother's Day, the reality TV star's 5-year-old daughter, Chicago, lauded all the things she loves about her mom. First, the tot believes Kim is 22 years old. "Wow! I feel seen!," Kim, 42, wrote alongside a picture of the "All About My Mom" card she received. Perhaps the funniest thing, though, came when the questionnaire asked, "The best thing she cooks is…" Chicago wrote, "Mom doesn't cook, she has a chef." Kim could only respond with the letters "OMG." In a follow up post, Kim tried to defend herself as she shared a photo cooking a Beeshee (a traditional Armenian pancake.) "Chi was wrong. I do cook. LOL," she wrote. All those "K's" in the Kardashian-Jenner family, but none of them stand for "kitchen."
Seat filler
Katy Perry went viral at King Charles' coronation this month, but it wasn't for her performance — instead, Katy's much-talked about moment stemmed from her not being able to find her seat inside Westminster Abbey. "Well, I just want everybody to know, thank you so much for your concern," she joked to Entertainment Tonight. "I found my seat." On May 6, the pop star entered the church ahead of the ceremony and was immediately lost. She soon asked another attendee where she was supposed to go. "You know, the memes are meme-ing and I love it," she laughed. "When you look when you look one way for fifteen seconds it's just all of a sudden the internet takes over."
Al update
Al Roker is on the mend after undergoing total knee replacement surgery. While chatting with his "Today" colleagues, the beloved weatherman said his leg is "stiff" but he's recovery well. "This one is a little more complicated because it's what they call a revision; it was a replacement of a replacement, so they had to take stuff out, put stuff in, so it was a bit of a bear," he said. "So we've just been kind of hanging out. Chilling out, not doing anything — which I know, a lot of people find hard to believe, but in fact, that is the case." As for his return to "Today," Al wouldn't commit to a date but believes it will be sooner rather than later. "I still don't know, I'm hoping, maybe sometime in the next two weeks to be back," he said. "We'll just play it by ear every day. And that's the thing. And yes, I know I'm not going to rush back before I have to."
Boy, oh boy…
As his infidelity continues to make headlines, Jimmie Allen's estranged wife is sharing some personal news: they are expecting a baby boy later this year. Alexis Allen shared a black and white photo of an ultrasound to Instagram on Mother's Day. "My baby boy 🖤 Happy Mother's Day," she wrote. The timing of the pregnancy isn't exactly advantageous. Last month, Jimmie and Alexis announced that they were separating and expecting a third child. Then, on May 11, news broke that the country singer was being sued by his former manager for assault and sexual abuse over the course of 18 months. Jimmie admitted to cheating on his wife with the unnamed woman, but he said the sex was always consensual. In her filing, the woman — filing under Jane Doe — detailed multiple occasions where she alleged that Jimmie forced himself onto her, including, she says, after an "Ellen" taping and an "American Idol" taping. She also alleged that the "Best Shot" singer insisted she take a Plan B pill after one sexual encounter to prevent pregnancy. "I acknowledge that we had a sexual relationship — one that lasted for nearly two years. During that time she never once accused me of any wrongdoing, and she spoke of our relationship and friendship as being something she wanted to continue indefinitely," Jimmie said in a statement. "Only after things ended between us, did she hire a lawyer to reach out and ask for money, which leads me to question her motives. The simple fact is, her accusations are not only false, but also extremely damaging."
