Tiffany Haddish reveals she's taking parenting classes and eyeing adoption
Tiffany Haddish has started preparing to become a mom, ideally to a slightly older child who'll understand that takes adoption and motherhood seriously. "I'm taking parenting classes now to adopt," the actress and comic, 41, shared with E! News this week. "I'm looking at, you know, 5 and up — really, like, 7. I want them to be able to know how to use the restroom on their own and talk." Having spent years in the foster care system herself, Tiffany added, "I want them to know that I put in the work and I wanted them." Though she's been dating Common since last spring, the star added that she's not considering surrogacy. "I don't wanna pay no body to carry my baby neither, 'cause then I have to go through a process of giving myself injections and all that stuff," she explained. "And I already gave up — here goes something everybody don't know, I'm gonna tell you: When I was 21 I was really hard up for some money and I gave up a bunch of eggs." After joking that could have "some kids out here in these streets" because of the egg donation, she also assured E! that she's unlikely to carry her own child. "Let me tell you, if I get pregnant, that is all God — tearing down all walls, all barriers — 'cause definitely I have taken the precaution to protect," she cracked. "Now, if that did happen, we gon' hire some help, then we're gonna cry a lot. … And I'm not gonna be 'baby mama,' I'm gonna be 'wife.'"

Kylie Jenner, Travis Scott looked to be 'together' at the rapper's Miami birthday celebration
Travis Scott kicked off the final year of his 20s in style, with Kylie Jenner at his side. According to ET, the seemingly on-again pair celebrated Travis' 29th trip around the sun in Miami on May 2, two days after the rapper's actual birthday. They reportedly began their night out with dinner at "an exclusive birds nest table in the outdoor garden" at Southeast Asian hotspot Komodo before changing clothes and making their way to LIV Nightclub's LIV ON SUNDAY party, where the birthday boy served as the evening's DJ. Per ET's source, Kylie spent the evening close to Travis in the DJ booth, where she was spotted smiling, laughing and dancing. The insider also got the sense the two were "visibly together," despite their split announcement back in 2019. Speaking to ET earlier this year, another source said the two have been "doing a great job co-parenting [their daughter Stormi] together with little to no drama."

Pink rewrote her will during intense COVID-19 battle: 'I thought it was over for us'
Pink's 2020 battle with COVID-19 was worse than many people realized. The singer and her son Jameson, 4, both tested positive for the coronavirus in March. Her husband, Carey Hart, and their 9-year-old daughter, Willow, managed to avoid the virus, but for Pink, who suffers from asthma, there was a time when she was assumed she would not recover. "It was really, really bad and I rewrote my will," she admitted in a recent interview with "Extra." Pink went on to say that she got to where she believed "it was over for us," and began making end-of-life plans. "I called my best friend and I said, 'I just need you to tell Willow how much I loved her,'" the singer recalled. "As a parent, you think, 'What am I leaving for my kid…? What do I need to tell them if this is the last time I get to tell them anything?'" "All I Know So Far," the title track for Pink's new live documentary, drops on May 7.

Looking every bit the pinup girl, complete with roller curls, stockings and revealing lingerie, the 19-year-old Grammy award magnet's newly transformed appearance speaks to the theme of reclaiming one's own narrative, something Billie also sings about in her new single, "Your Power." "It's an open letter to people who take advantage – mostly men," Billie explains. The singer admits she was abused when she was younger — "it's so embarrassing and humiliating and demoralizing to be in that position of thinking you know so much and then you realize, I'm being abused right now," she says — but she doesn't want fans to focus on the specifics. "I would like people to listen to me. And not just try to figure out who I'm talking about, because it's not about that. It's really not at all about one person," she explains of the composite character in the song. "You might think, 'It's because she's in the music industry' – no, dude. It's everywhere. I don't know one girl or woman who hasn't had a weird experience, or a really bad experience. And men, too – young boys are taken advantage of constantly." She adds that there's "no excuse" for such behavior, including whether a woman is "showing skin" or not. ("Seriously," she asks, "you're that weak? Come on …") "It's about taking that power back, showing it off and not taking advantage with it," the singer concludes. "I'm not letting myself be owned anymore."
Caitlyn Jenner faces backlash for comments on trans kids and sports
Caitlyn Jenner, a Republican, is opposed to letting trans girls compete in girls' school sports — and her opinion's already fueling backlash against her gubernatorial campaign. Asked to comment on Republican-driven moves to ban transgender athletes from participating in sports that align with their gender identities, the former Olympic decathalon gold medalist told TMZ she sees the matter as "a question of fairness." She explained, "That's why I oppose biological boys who are trans competing in girls' sports in school. It just isn't fair. And we have to protect girls' sports in our schools." According to NBC News, Caitlyn's remarks were the first she's shared publicly on the issue since she announced her candidacy in California's recall election last month. The brief interview comes amid a wave of legislation restricting school sports participation and some medial treatments for young transgender people in multiple states, actions supporters of transgender rights have opposed. Many of the same activists and advocates have already balked Caitlyn's bid to replace Gov. Gavin Newsom as the next governor or California, asserting that her campaign is, as an op-ed writer for the Desert Sun recently put it, "about celebrity, not transgender rights." Kai Shappley, a 10-year-old trans girl whose story was the subject of an Emmy-winning ACLU documentary, tweeted in response to Caitlyn's comments, "If you don't want to help trans kids at least stop hurting us!!! Pleading face Not all trans people are rich, white, and live in California @Caitlyn_Jenner. Some of us have had to fight for equality." Trans filmmaker Leigh Finke seemed to agree with Kai. "Jenner is gonna be America's 'some of my friends are trans' trans woman that allows countless conservatives a little cover to decimate our rights," Leigh tweeted. "Not that they'll succeed, but it's the elbow room they need to better make their case, and hurt our kids." Other critics have noted Caitlyn's tendency to flip-flop on a range of trans rights issues, including sports.
'Sex and the City' reboot will reportedly add three non-white characters to the friend group
The forthcoming "Sex and the City" reboot, "And Just Like That… " won't include Kim Cattrall's Samantha character, but according to a new report from TVLine, Carrie, Miranda and Charlotte will have a much wider group of friends when they return to the small screen — and three of those new pals will be played by women of color. The original TV series has long been criticized for its lack of diversity, an issue executive producer Sarah Jessica Parker and showrunner Michael Patrick King will also reportedly tackle by bringing in a more diverse team of writers, half of whom are non-white. As for Samantha's sudden disappearance, HBO Max chief content officer Casey Bloys has indicated there was no need to kill her off in the script. "Just as in real life, people come into your life, people leave. Friendships fade, and new friendships start. So I think it is all very indicative of the real stages, the actual stages of life," Casey said, adding that SJP and Michael "didn't want to tell a story with all-white writers or an all-white cast" because "it's not reflective of New York."
Rebel Wilson reveals 'bad news' amid fertility struggle
Last year, Rebel Wilson shared on Instagram that she's been focused on getting healthy in part because she wanted to freeze her eggs and know she was in tip-top shape when that happened. She hit her goal weight back in November, but as she told Instagram followers over the weekend, she's still struggling with fertility issues. "I got some bad news today and didn't have anyone to share it with…but I guess I gotta tell someone," the 40-year-old "Pooch Perfect" host wrote alongside a photo of herself alone on a beach wearing all-black. "To all the women out there struggling with fertility, I feel ya," she continued. "The universe works in mysterious ways and sometimes it all doesn't make sense… but I hope there's light about to shine through all the dark clouds." Though she didn't elaborate, her post was quickly met with support from followers including Sharon Stone, who commented, "Been there repeatedly there is good news I have three beautiful sons." Rebel's "Pitch Perfect" cohort Alexis Knapp chimed in, too, posting, "So sorry my love. Been through it 💔."
Olympia Dukakis remembered by her 'Steel Magnolias,' 'Moonstruck' co-stars
The stars of 1989's "Steel Magnolias" are remembering Olympia Dukakis in the wake of the Oscar winner's death at age 89 on May 1. "I was so sorry to hear that Olympia Dukakis had passed away," Dolly Parton told "The Today Show" in a statement published over the weekend. "She has been one of my favorite people that I have ever known or worked with," Dolly continued. "I really got very close to her and felt like we were good friends. Even though I didn't get to see her much, I thought of her often and knew that she was such a quality human being. She will be missed by her fans, her family, and those of us that were lucky enough to get to know her personally." Sally Field, who starred alongside Olympia and Dolly in the classic film about an unbreakable bond between women in a small Louisiana town, also paid tribute to the actress, tweeting, "What can I say but I loved her? Everyone loved her. She was a gift… unique and talented and one of a kind. Rest in peace, my friend Olympia." Cher, who also worked with Olympia in the '80s, shared an homage to Olympia as well. "Olympia Played My Mom In Moonstruck,& Even Though Her Part was that Of a Suffering Wife, We [laughed] ALL The Time," the singer shared. Olympia's brother confirmed the news of his sister's death; she reportedly passed away "after many months of failing health."
Jill Duggar Dillard posts about community support in 'difficult times' following Josh Duggar's arrest
As Josh Duggar awaits a bond hearing after his recent indictment on child pornography charges, his sister, Jill Duggar Dillard, is thinking about the value of community in "difficult times." "We were reminded this morning in church about how important community is!," the former "19 Kids and Counting" star shared on Instagram on May 2. "I think I've brought this up before, but I've literally prayed for good community!! We need others for support, prayer…people to do life with and so much more," she continued. Adding a mask emoji, Jill went on to acknowledge that "this last year has tested all of us so much," then pointed out that "sometimes it's in the difficult times that you see more clearly who your people are as they become the hands and feet of Jesus!" TLC canceled "19 Kids and Counting" in 2015 after it was revealed that Josh had previously molested underage girls including Jill and their sister, Jessa, now Jessa Seewald. He pleaded not guilty last week to the charges brought against him. In a statement posted on their website, his parents, Jim Bob Duggar and Michelle Duggar, told fans, "We appreciate your continued prayers for our family at this time. The accusations brought against Joshua today are very serious. It is our prayer that the truth, no matter what it is, will come to light, and that this will all be resolved in a timely manner. We love Josh and Anna and continue to pray for their family." If convicted, Josh could face up to 40 years prison and hefty fines.
