It's the biggest and most important NFL game of the year — Super Bowl LVIII. The Kansas City Chiefs came back from behind to tie then beat the San Francisco 49ers 25-22 in overtime, becoming the first team to win back-to-back Super Bowl championships since the New England Patriots nearly two decades ago. On top of that, it's the Chiefs' fourth Super Bowl victory overall and their third in five years, sparking hopes the Chiefs are now a dynasty.
Also remarkable: The 2024 Super Bowl — which was only the second overtime championship game ever — scored the highest ratings of any telecast since the 1969 moon landing, with Nielsen and Adobe Analytics reporting it averaged 123.4 million viewers across TV and streaming platforms, up 7% from 2023.

After the Chiefs' win, Reid addressed the moment — in which Travis nearly knocked him over while demanding to be put in the game after sitting out a play — telling CBS News of Kelce, "He keeps me young," insisting it's not the big deal many on social media made it out to be. "He caught me off-balance." Reid further explained to reporters, adding, "He loves to play the game and he loves to help his team win. It's not a selfish thing. As much he bumps into me, I get after him. We understand that."
