France's President Emmanuel Macron and his wife, Brigitte Macron, were the guests of honor at a state dinner at the Royal Palace in Stockholm during their two-day visit to Sweden in January 2024.
Crown Princess Victoria of Sweden — the future queen — donned the Napoleonic Cut-Steel Tiara for the special dinner. The tiara is remarkable because it's gem-free and boasts motifs of feathers, acorns and oak in both gold and steal. The headpiece is also thought to have been made for Napoleon's stepdaughter, Hortense de Beauharnais — which would be fitting for Victoria to wear at an event with the French president.
