Believe it or not, the seemingly ageless Mahershala Ali celebrated his 50th on Feb. 16.
Up next, the two-time Oscar winner is set to star as the titular vampire hunter and dhampir (half human, half vampire) in Marvel's long-gestating "Blade" reboot, which is due in late 2025. Fans of the franchise have expressed concerns that he's now too old for the part — in spite of his youthful appearance.

Robbie Williams turned 50 on Feb. 13. Less than two weeks before his big birthday, he joked to The Mirror that he was experiencing "manopause." Said the singer of aging, "The hair is thinning, the testosterone has left the building, the serotonin is not really here and the dopamine said goodbye a long time ago. I've used up all of the natural good stuff. I've got the manopause."

Far-right radio host and prominent conspiracy theorist Alex Jones turned 50 on Feb. 11. Expect his birthday party to be a low-key affair: In 2022, juries in Connecticut and Texas awarded nearly $1.5B in damages from Jones to a first responder and families of victims of the Sandy Hook school shooting over defamatory statements he made alleging that the massacre was a hoax. He was then accused of hiding assets to avoid paying up. Later that year, he and several of his companies filed for bankruptcy.

Prolific actress, writer and director Elizabeth Banks turned 50 on Feb. 10 — and she couldn't be more confident about the new decade!
"I've been thinking about it as the midpoint," the three-time Emmy nominee told People magazine in 2023. "And I just can't believe I get a whole second life after this. Isn't that crazy? And the first half of my life was having to learn everything and make money and put a foundation underneath me. Now I have all that, and this knowledge base, and so I really feel more powerful than I've ever felt before."
On Feb. 9, she took to Instagram to reveal how she was celebrating her big day: with a "girls birthday ski weekend."
The following day, she took to Instagram to share a video of herself goofing off while posing for a photo shoot in her "birthday suit" — a gold long-sleeve spandex bodysuit. "Who wants to see my birthday suit?" she coyly asks in the hilarious clip.

Feb. 9 marked Amber Valletta's 50th birthday. So far, the model-actress is using her big day as an excuse to draw attention to the climate crisis.
In an essay for the January 2024 issue of British Vogue, she wrote of her upcoming birthday, "I turn 50 this February, meaning I've worked in fashion for 35 years, and I've been a sustainability advocate for more than 20 of those, but in 2023 I hit a wall, mentally and physically. I wasn't quite at the point where I couldn't get out of bed, but I couldn't tell you how I spent my days. The news just felt relentlessly bad – environmental and otherwise. I knew that, if I was ever going to get back on my feet, I needed to find a more sustainable approach to sustainability work.
While Amber hasn't appeared in any major film or television projects in rent years, she still knows how to dominate a catwalk: The seemingly ageless beauty walked the runway during Paris Fashion Week in late 2023.

We've always suspected that Kate Moss was ageless — turns out that she has too: During an interview with The Times ahead of her big birthday on Jan. 16, the fashion star said, "I'm not turning 50. No. I'm not thinking about it. I do not feel 50."
The wildly successful model — who's posed in iconic campaigns for everyone from Calvin Klein and Chanel to Versace and Alexander McQueen — continues to work as a model and designer while juggling her duties with her new wellness brand, Cosmoss.
Her adult daughter, Lila Moss, is also a model.

Spice Girls singer, DJ, actress and triathlete Melanie Chisholm, aka Mel C or Sporty Spice, turned 50 on Jan. 12. As Mel told fans on X, she celebrated her landmark day with a show at Koko in London followed by an afterparty featuring "DJs, dancing, drag queens and kings!"
The "Wannabe" singer's 50th brings another fun reason to celebrate too: Britain's Royal Mail recently released 15 special Spice Girls stamps in honor of the girl group's 30th anniversary.

On April 17, Mel C's Spice Girls bandmate Posh Spice, aka Victoria Beckham, joins the 50 and Fabulous Club. The award-winning designer, who shares four kids with husband David Beckham, has nixed opportunities to reunite on stage with her onetime musical cohorts. Though she's not down to sing with the Girls these days, Victoria remains close with the former pop stars, especially bride-to-be Melanie "Mel B" Brown, who's engaged to Rory McPhee.
"Victoria actually designed my [wedding] dress and my mom's dress," Mel said on the "Today" show in January, calling the opportunity to wear Victoria's work on her big day "a beautiful honor."

It's hard to believe Christian Bale turned 50 on Jan. 30. Maybe that's because he's transformed so completely into just about every character he's ever played, from the emaciated lead in "The Machinist" to the uber-cut Bruce Wayne in "Batman Begins" to the decidedly less fit former Vice President Dick Cheney in 2018's "Vice."

Best known for her award-winning tenure as a 40-something Queen Elizabeth II on Netflix's "The Crown," Olivia kicks off her 50s with an Academy Award, four BAFTAs, two Emmys and three Golden Globes under her belt.

_

Longtime Yankees slugger Derek Jeter knocks his 40s out of the park and rings in his 50th on June 26. Though he's now retired from Major League Baseball, the Hall of Famer has been known to dodge questions about age in the past. Asked about Michael Jordan's upcoming 50th back in 2013, a then 39-year-old Derek admitted to USA Today, "As much as I'd like to be getting younger, I'm not. Everybody's getting older. There's always going to be questions. There always have been questions. I don't mind that." He retired the following year.

"Dancing into The New Year, with so many blessings from 2023, which have left me in awe and wonder and deep gratitude for the magic that appeared in abundance, all around me, in every way," she wrote. "Starting obviously, with the blessings of my Angel Babies, who make everyday, the best day ever. Thank you, 2023! 2024, I can't wait to collaborate with you on making new art, new moments, and new resolutions come true!!"

The always incredible Sarah Paulson notches year No. 50 on Dec. 17. With any luck, the Emmy Award-winning "American Horror Story" star has a little head start on how to comfortably shift gears into new decades — her longtime partner, actress Holland Taylor, is 32 years her senior.
