We're rounding up all the celebs who went without makeup in 2023, starting with this actress…
Pamela Anderson continued her commitment to not wearing makeup as she attended The Fashion Awards at Royal Albert Hall in London on Dec. 4.
Early in her career, she didn't have much say in her beauty choices, the former "Baywatch" star and Playboy Playmate told ELLE in an August 2023 interview. "I just went along with what people were telling me what to do," she said.
After her makeup artist, Alexis Vogel, died from breast cancer in 2019, Pamela stepped away from what had become her signature ultra-glam look. "She was the best. And since then, I just felt, without Alexis, it's just better for me not to wear makeup," Pamela said.
Her new barely there makeup look has been "freeing, and fun, and a little rebellious too," she added, "because I did notice that there were all these people doing big makeup looks, and it's just like me to go against the grain and do the opposite [of] what everyone's doing."
Pam has also found humor in it. "I think we all start looking a little funny when we get older," she said. "And I'm kind of laughing at myself when I look at the mirror. I go, 'Wow, this is really… what's happening to me?' It's a journey."
But it's one she's embracing. "I feel rooted for. I feel good," she said. "I'm in a good place."

A dressed-down Kate Hudson — she wore a purple long-sleeve muumuu-style frock with black boots — walked her dog in Los Angeles on Oct. 25. She completed her extra-casual look by stepping out sans makeup — and apparently without running a brush through her long blonde locks!
The Oscar-nominated "Almost Famous" actress's family is brimming with Hollywood stars: Her mother is Oscar-winning actress Goldie Hawn, and Emmy-nominated actor Kurt Russell — her mom's long-term partner — essentially raised her as his own child.
Two of Kate's three brothers are also actors: Oliver Hudson starred on "Rules of Engagement," "Nashville" and "Scream Queens," while Wyatt Russell recently starred in the Marvel miniseries "The Falcon and the Winter Soldier." (He's also set to portray a younger version of Kurt's character on the upcoming series "Monarch: Legacy of Monsters.")

She previously appeared in the "Star Wars" franchise as Lieutenant Connix. (She even shared scenes with her mom.)

She's now seeking $600K in compensation from the actress, who hasn't appeared on camera since her stint on the short-lived CBS sitcom "Carol's Second Act" came to an end in early 2020.

Tiffani Thiessen went makeup-free as she grabbed some coffees from a Starbucks in Los Angeles on Aug. 10.
On an episode of the "Good Instincts" podcast that aired one day after her caffeine run, the "Saved By the Bell" and "Beverly Hills, 90210" alum — who turns 50 in 2024 — opened up about getting older.
"When I was turning 40, I felt like I had more personal pressure on myself to look the best I could," she said, but "at [almost] 50, I feel very confident in knowing that I'm doing the best I can. I'm trying [to be an example of] a good sense of self to show my daughter that I take care of myself, I go to the gym. … I feel so much more at ease now than I did 10 years ago." (The "White Collar" actress shares kids Harper, 13, and Holt, 8, with husband Brady Smith.)
She added that she's made peace with aging either because it's "me not giving a s*** or it's just me growing up." Though she understands that "yes, I think people will say things, you know … and maybe expect me to look a certain way, yes, but I mean, it's just not realistic. I can only age the way I'm going to age, right?"
According to Tiffani, "I'm taking care of myself and doing things that I know will benefit the outside exterior of myself … but, yeah, those people don't know what's happening on the inside, right? [That's] important because that's what actually helps the outside."

A makeup-free Gwyneth Paltrow revealed she's going gray when she stepped out for dinner with friends and family at Mr Chow in Beverly Hills on Aug. 27.
During an interview with British Vogue that debuted online the previous month, the Oscar winner — who turned 50 in 2022 — decried the pressure society puts on women to maintain a youthful appearance: "I think it's culture's problem. It's not ours!" she said. "As women, we want to be healthy, we want to be aging. This idea that we're supposed to be frozen in time is so weird. … think we want to be setting examples of how you can age."

"This is a 58 year old face without fillers, Botox or surgery in good light with professional gorgeous makeup (by @ivanatoky)," she wrote in the caption. "And here's the same face without makeup.
"I have had lasers (ultherapy and Morpheus ) and used spf religiously since my early twenties. I have chosen not to put anything 'into' my face — but even with the fanciest creams and lasers that promise to restore some collagen — I am aging," she continued.
"Some days, I like it. I feel like my face has gained character even as it's lost its youthful prettiness. And it seems a fair trade off. Other days, (and this is mostly only if I do a photoshoot), I have to gulp some self acceptance," she shared. "I have changed.
"Fortunately, this change also means being wiser. And bolder. So I keep gulping self acceptance," she explained. "I won't skip over the obvious — that there is a love in my life who finds me beautiful, and tells me so with words and actions every day — and this is really the only one I NEED to hear — But! I was on the same path before meeting him," she added.
"I wanted to be able to accept myself as I am. And needed to know that those who love me — love me for the truth of who I am rather than who I pretend to be or who I'm expected to be. Outside, I have changed. I'm told by society — for the worse. Inside, I have also changed. I'm told by those who matter — for the better," she wrote.
"When I close my eyes, I have never felt so desirable or beautiful. When I open them, the world has never been as beautiful as it is now. So another gulp of self acceptance," she added, concluding, "Maybe, one day I can just look and see myself as I see others."
