The Australia premiere of "Furiosa: A Mad Max Saga" was one big dystopian style bonanza, with Anya Taylor-Joy and her arrow-spiked gold mesh and chainmail dress and headpiece at the helm.
Anya, who stars as the war captain Imperator Furiosa in the prequel to "Mad Max: Fury Road" — which opens in theaters on May 24 — was utterly stunning at the May 2 screening in an out-there number from Paco Rabanne's Spring/Summer Haute Couture 1996 collection.
But Anya wasn't the only star who went full-on apocalypse style for the red carpet in Sydney. Her castmates dazzled in everything from warrior makeup and sequins to lace, fringe and leather.

Gold and brown crystals and gems bedazzled Anya Taylor-Joy's vintage look, which included a headpiece made of the same copper and silver base as the dress and was also bursting with the same arrows that popped out from the star's waist.
The daring number made its debut in 1996 as part of Paco Rabanne's "12 Unwearable Dresses" collection, a follow-up to the famed designer's "12 Experimental Dresses" collection from circa 1964.
