Susan Sarandon went for a walk with a wheelchair-bound Jessica Lange in New York City on Jan. 7, 2024.
After the outing alarmed the two-time Oscar winner's fans, her rep released a statement to Page Six explaining her ailment: "Jessica is healthy and well, she is recovering from a leg injury she incurred at a dog park," her spokesperson said.
The "American Horror Story" star, 74, and the "Thelma & Louise" actress, 77, have been friends for years. They grew especially close after co-starring on the first season of Ryan Murphy's FX anthology series "Feud."
Jessica and Susan went head-to-head as Joan Crawford and Bette Davis on the show, which chronicles the behind-the-scenes drama on the set of the 1962 psychological thriller "What Ever Happened to Baby Jane?"
Jessica took home Oscars in 1983 and 1995 for her work in "Tootsie" and "Blue Sky" while Susan won an Oscar in 1996 for her performance in "Dead Man Walking."
