On Feb. 11, the Kansas City Chiefs came back from behind to tie then beat the San Francisco 49ers 25-22 in overtime, becoming the first NFL team to win back-to-back Super Bowl championships since the New England Patriots did it nearly two decades ago. On top of that, it marked the Chiefs' fourth Super Bowl victory overall and their third in five years.
Hours before Super Bowl LVIII kicked off, former President Donald Trump lashed out at Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce, Taylor Swift and President Joe Biden in a Truth Social post, writing, "I signed and was responsible for the Music Modernization Act for Taylor Swift and all other Musical Artists. Joe Biden didn't do anything for Taylor, and never will. There's no way she could endorse Crooked Joe Biden, the worst and most corrupt President in the History of our Country, and be disloyal to the man who made her so much money. Besides that, I like her boyfriend, Travis, even though he may be a Liberal, and probably can't stand me!" So it's no surprise congratulations didn't follow.
But another former president, Biden, HIllary Clinton and other big names did have a few things to say about the Chiefs' victory. Join us as we take a look at what political leaders, athletes, stars and more shared about MVP Patrick Mahomes, wide receiver Mecole Hardman's game-winning touchdown and more…
