The experience was, according to comedy star and "The Price is RIght" host Drew Carey, like meeting God.
Iconic Vermont jam band Phish commanded the stage at the Sphere in Las Vegas for four nights beginning April 18, delivering not only incredible music — more than 68 songs in total — but a mind-blowing visual concert that left 20,000 fans each night in awe.
"As Phish fans well know, in their 40 years of being a band," the Sphere explained, "Phish has never played the same show twice. Each of Phish's four shows at Sphere [featured] completely unique setlists AND visuals, making every show a truly once-in-a-lifetime audio-visual experience."
And more are in store: According to the $2.3 billion immersive arena, "These shows mark the beginning of a new relationship between Phish and Sphere, but they will be the only shows Phish performs at the venue in 2024."

Comedy star and "The Prince is Right" host Drew Carey attended one of the band's concerts and left raving.
"#Phish at the #Sphere," he shared on X alongside a video clip from the psychedelic light show. "I swear I just talked to God. I would give you all my money, stick my d*** in a blender and swear off p**** for the rest of my life in exchange for this. Bro I met God tonight for real. I feel like I just got saved by Jesus no lie."

"This is such a new and different environment, where we started trying to make everything perfect. And then being more comfortable, taking chances and pushing things a bit further," Phish co-creative director Abigail Rosen Holmes told the Associated Press of creating the visuals for the concerts at the Sphere. She added that she and Phish's longtime lighting designer, Chri Kuroda, "were able to reach further and mesh better as the nights went on."

Some of the other visuals featured in Phish's Sphere shows included everything from flowing streams of color and simple dots of light to an enchanted lake, a field of psychedelic trees, a journey through a car wash, computer-generated characters on floats made of donuts, pineapples and pizza slices, the Associated Press reported. At one point during one of the shows, hundreds of digital balloons joined the real balloons that were released inside the venue, which seats 20,000.

Phish was the second band ever to play at the Sphere. Irish rockers U2 opened the venue with a 40-concert run in 2023.
The next band slated to perform at the incredible venue is Dead and Company, who will take the stage for 24 concerts in May, June and July 2024.
