It's all relative
If there's any truth to viral TikTok claims Jared Leto and Scott Disick are related, Jared appears to be A-OK with the news. Sirius XM's "TikTok Radio" host Davis Burleson mentioned fan speculation that the two look "identical" in a November 2023 interview with the Oscar winner, 51.
"Wow, really?" Jared replied. "Lucky me. Thank you." As reported by People, Jared's been photographed at events with a few of Scott's co-stars from "The Kardashians," though he doesn't know 40-year-old reality star personally.
"I don't know. It's hard when you look at yourself," Jared said of their possible resemablance. "But they do say that people who look alike actually share a lot of DNA, sometimes. You know, if there's someone like, 'Oh my God, you look exactly like this guy,' you actually might be related somehow." In the end, the Thirty Seconds to Mars frontman concluded, "it would be nice" if he and Scott are related, "because then I would have a rich relative, because he's very wealthy, right?"
Right … although CelebrityNetWorth.com estimates Scott's wealth to be around $45 million in 2023, while Jared's worth about $90 million. Guess everything's "relative" after all.

Marriage update
After multiple rounds of rumors, Adele has reportedly confirmed she's married to her partner of two years, sports agent Rich Paul. The update comes via Instagram gossip account Deuxmoi, which shared multiple social media posts claiming Adele was at her pal Alan Carr's standup performance in Los Angeles on Monday, Nov. 20, when she allegedly shared the news.
"I was at Alan Carr's comedy show in L.A tonight, and Adele was in the audience," one user told Deuxmoi (via Vogue). "Alan asked the crowd if anyone got married recently, and Adele shouted 'I did.'"
A second person shared: "When he asked if anyone got married recently she yelled 'I did.' Super cute all around …" The audience member added, "Adele was sitting right behind me with a friend having the best time," noting that the Grammy winner, 35, "didn't care if people knew she was there" and was "heckling" the comic, a longtime friend.
While neither Adele nor Rich, 41, have gone on the record about their marital status, Adele referred to him as her husband during a Las Vegas performance in September 2023. The next month, when Gayle King asked Rich during a CBS News interview if she could call Adele "Mrs. Paul," he replied, "You can say whatever you want," adding that he's not "type of person to put [his] personal life" in the press.
Documentary critique
Britney Spears is reiterating her frustration with the series of documentaries that were made about her conservatorship without her participation. On Monday, Nov. 20 — just after the three-year-anniversary of her conservatorship's termination — Britney hopped on Instagram and shared a social media comment from 2021. The comment came from Lady Gaga's manager, Bobby Campbell, in response to Netflix's "Britney vs. Spears" doc.
"There needs to be transparency about how or whether the filmmakers are profiting from this doc, or if they are donating their fees to Britney's legal defense, or to legal defense funds to aide those who do not have the financial resources to fight against undue conservatorships," Bobby wrote at the time. Britney's post, which appeared to be taken from an article, then asked: "But is Britney Spears okay with people making these documentaries?"
Britney answered that question in her a lengthy caption …
_
"Interesting … The last sentence. Would it matter if I wasn't okay with it?" Britney asked in response to the quote. She also called out the filmmakers for "showing my hardest times 3 years ago proclaiming I'm supposed to benefit from THAT !!! B******* !!! … The bottom line is intention !!!" the singer continued. "What angle were they coming at ??? Was it to demonstrate support … understanding … love ??? Why no !!! None of these !!! It was to offend and offend only !!!"
The singer's post on documentaries from Netflix, the New York Times and TMZ comes three years after a Los Angeles judge terminated her controversial conservatorship on Nov. 12, 2021. In October 2023, she told her own version of what she'd endured in her bestselling memoir, "Britney Spears: The Woman In Me."
The book has reportedly sparked widespread interest from major Hollywood producers, with the likes of Brad Pitt, Reese Witherspoon and Margot Robbie engulfed in a bidding war over rights to option it for the big screen, TheAnkler.com reported in November. According to the outlet's sources, rights to a documentary based on the book — made with Britney's participation — could sell for as much as $40 million.
Old stomping grounds
On Monday, Nov. 20, David Letterman returned to the Ed Sullivan Theater for the first time since 2015, when he stepped down as host of "The Late Show," and Stephen Colbert took the helm. He was greeted with near-deafening applause and joked, "Stephen, control your people!"
Now the host of his own interview program on Netflix, David launched "The Late Show" in 1993. "This is the most enthusiastic audience I have been near since the night I announced that I was quitting," he quipped. From there, the two caught up and traded jokes and barbs. They even shared a selfie, "because my son doesn't believe I had a show," Dave said.
Notably, they did not discuss why Dave had not appeared as a guest on the show until now, an absence The New York Times reported was more evident thanks to Dave's regular appearances on other late-night talk shows. (Citing a 2015 interview with Dave, the Times suggested he may have been offended that CBS chose Stephen as his replacement quickly and without consulting him.)
"I miss everything, mostly, it's fun," Dave told Stephen at one point. "I came to the show this afternoon, and people were saying, 'Yes, may I help you?' And I said, 'I'm Ed Sullivan.' Got me right in," he later joked.
Before the 20-min ute segment ended, he complimented Stephen's work, telling him, "It's not easy but you make it look very easy, so congratulations to you and your entire staff."
'Twilight' reunion
Robert Pattinson inadvertently hosted a "Twilight" reunion at his birthday party this year when his ex and former co-star, Kristen Stewart, crashed it — along with "Twilight" director Catherine Hardwicke. That's according to Catherine, who shared the story on a recent edition of the "Happy Sad Confused" podcast.
"I went to Rob's birthday party recently. I kind of crashed with my friend Toni Collette, who had just done a movie with him … and then Kristen crashed it too," said the director, per EW.com. "That was just a few months ago, and it was just like, 'Oh my God!' We all hugged each other, like, this is so crazy and cool."
Rob, whose longtime girlfriend Suki Waterhouse recently revealed the couple is expecting their first child, turned 37 on May 13.
"When Kristen walked into Rob's birthday, she's like, 'Catherine? Rob's birthday? What's going on?'" Catherine recalled.
_
"I go, 'I kind of crashed it with Toni.' And she goes, 'Well, I crashed it too,'" the director continued.
Elsewhere in the podcast, she reflected on the "instant" chemistry between Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart during their "Twilight" days.
"I could tell when they were doing the chemistry read, the biology scene, at my kitchen table," she said. "I saw the sparks were flying so much."
Rob and Kristen were an item throughout most of the "Twilight" franchise, which launched in 2008 and ran through 2013, the same year the stars called it quits. Kristen announced in 2021 that she's engaged to screenwriter Dylan Meyer.
Missing Bruce
Bruce Willis and Demi Moore's daughter, Rumer Willis, shared a moment of nostalgia on Instagram this week amid her dad's battle with frontotemporal dementia, or FTD. Posting a photo of the "Die Hard" star smiling as he held Rumer, then still a baby, the 35-year-old wrote simply, "Really missing my papa today. 🥲."
Her sister, Tallulah Willis, shared the post on her Instagram Stories, as well.
Bruce, 68, was diagnosed with FTD after his family announced in 2022 that he'd be stepping away from his acting career due to aphasia, which causes language and communication problems. Since then, the actor's wife, Emma Heming, his ex, Demi, and his adult daughters have spoken candidly and publicly about his condition in an effort to help other families whose loved ones are struggling with dementia.
