Marie Osmond has been belting out tunes — most notably with her entertainer brother Donny Osmond and as a solo country and pop artist — since she was a little girl! With her 10th album, "Music is Medicine," set for release on April 15, 2016, let's take a look at how her life and career have changed as she's faced heartache, tragedy and happiness through the years.

Marie Osmond was born in Utah on Oct. 13, 1959, to Olive and George Osmond, who raised her in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Marie was the only daughter in a family of nine children. Most of her brothers were members of the popular singing group The Osmonds in the '60s.

By the time she was around 10 years old, Marie Osmond couldn't resist the pull of singing with The Osmonds, including her brothers Donny Osmond, Wayne Osmond, Jay Osmond, Jimmy Osmond, Merrill Osmond and Alan Osmond. She toured with the group from America to Paris.

In 1973, Marie Osmond decided to break out on her own. She released her first country single, a cover of "Paper Roses," which found much success. She followed it with "In My Little Corner of the World" a year later in 1974, and a third single in 1975, "Who's Sorry Now."

Though Marie Osmond had been doing well as a solo country artist, she and brother Donny Osmond — who was at that point a teen idol — started to perform more and more as a duo in the mid '70s.

Donny Osmond and Marie Osmond's fame skyrocketed following the release of two successful pop duets in 1974. They celebrated Marie's 17th birthday while appearing on Cher and Sonny Bono's wildly popular variety show, "The Sonny and Cher Comedy Hour," in October 1975.

Donny Osmond and Marie Osmond got their own ABC variety show in 1976, "Donny & Marie." The pair lit up the small screen with with their comedy skits, musical performances and appearances by their famous family.

The rest of the Osmonds weren't completely out of the picture! The famous family's many musical members were making so many appearances on the "Donny & Marie" show that in 1979, it was renamed "The Osmond Family Hour." In December that year, ABC aired "The Donny and Marie Christmas Special" starring Donny Osmond, Marie Osmond, Alan Osmond, Merrill Osmond, Jimmy Osmond and Jay Osmond.

Marie Osmond was still making time for her own music. She released "This Is the Way That I Feel" in 1977. And she was doing TV movies on the side including "The Gift of Love" in 1978. By 1980, she'd tried her hand at her own show on NBC called "Marie," but it was short-lived.

In 1982, Marie Osmond married basketball player Stephen Craig (seen here). Just a year later, they welcomed a son, also named Stephen Craig. But by 1985, the couple decided to call it quits. The year after her divorce, Marie married for the second time, saying "I do" to Brian Blosil in 1986.

In 1986, Marie Osmond and Dan Seals won a Country Music Association Award for Vocal Duo of the Year for their hit song "Meet Me in Montana," beating out artists including Dolly Parton and Kenny Rogers! Starting in the mid-'80s, Marie released four more albums: "There's No Stopping Your Heart," "I Only Wanted You," "All in Love" and "Steppin' Stone."

By the early '90s, Marie Osmond was ready for a new challenge: Broadway! She starred in the musical "The King And I" in New York City in 1994 (seen here), followed by "The Sound of Music" in 1997.

Marie Osmond was a jack of all trades! In 1995, she took on sitcom life: For a year, she starred on ABC's "Maybe This Time" with Betty White and Ashley Johnson.

In 1998, another big opportunity arose for siblings Donnie Osmond and Marie Osmond: They scored their own show again! The "Donny & Marie" talk show lasted until 2000.

A busy career wasn't stopping Marie Osmond and second husband Brian Blosil from raising a family. The couple welcomed seven kids together — two biological and five adopted — who were born between 1987 and 2002.

In 2001, Marie Osmond published her first book, "Behind the Smile," which documented her journey out of postpartum depression. Husband Brian Blosil was very supportive. But by the time she released her second book, 2007's "Might as Well Laugh About it Now," she and Brian had decided to divorce.

On Aug. 7, 2003, Donny Osmond and Marie Osmond's decades of hard work in the industry were recognized when they received a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame!

As if acting, singing and writing books weren't enough, Marie Osmond was also designing collectible dolls that were sold on QVC starting in 1991. In 2006, while her porcelain works of art were still in demand, she also started her own sewing-machine line.

Marie Osmond just doesn't stop adding to her resume! In 2007, she competed on Season 5 of ABC's "Dancing With The Stars." She and pro partner Jonathan Roberts received the third place prize after a rough road. During one dance, Marie fainted!

Unstoppable duo Donny Osmond and Marie Osmond took their variety show to Las Vegas in 2008. The sibling pair signed a contract at the Flamingo Hotel for a 90-minute show called, natch, "Donny & Marie." The popular act is still going strong to this day. Does she ever sleep?

On the side, Donny Osmond and Marie Osmond also created their own Broadway show called "Donny & Marie – A Broadway Christmas" in 2010. The show was met with such success that it was turned into an annual tour. The same year, she released another album on her own, "I Can Do This."

In 2010, Marie Osmond faced a major tragedy. Her son Michael Blosil committed suicide by leaping to his death from his eighth-floor apartment building in Los Angeles after a long battle with depression. The 18-year-old was laid to rest in Provo, Utah, on March 8 that year.

After dealing with the loss of her son, Marie Osmond remarried her first husband, Steve Craig. The pair said their vows again in Las Vegas in 2011.

A third book! Marie Osmond released "The Key Is Love" in 2013. In it she discussed the gifts that her mother gave her and how to pass them on. A year prior, she had also started to work on her own talk show, "Marie," which began airing on the Hallmark Channel.

Marie Osmond made a splash when she was revealed as the spokesperson for Nutrisystem in 2013. She claimed to have lost a whopping 50 pounds using the plan.

Another job! Marie Osmond started to fill in for absent hosts on CBS' daytime series "The Talk" in 2013. In one 2014 episode, she even debuted her 1-month-old grandchild, Stephen James Craig Jr. Don't forget to add grandma to her resume now.

Between her Vegas show, filling in on "The Talk," writing books, being a wife, mom and grandma, Marie Osmond is releasing her 10th studio album, "Music is Medicine," in 2016. The 56-year-old really just does it all!
