It's been an uncharacteristically rainy year so far in the Los Angeles area, and some homes are now in trouble because of it.
On March 13, a landslide — caused by saturated ground — reduced an under-construction Sherman Oaks-area mansion to rubble and left two more homes in peril.
Several people have been evacuated from the area. "The whole thing collapse onto itself," Los Angeles Fire Department Captain Adam Van Gerpen told CBS of the destroyed home. Reports claimed an outdoor pool was drained to reduce weight on the hill.
