Vin Diesel gets ultra competitive on set
A new report reveals the extent of Vin Diesel's competitive side when it comes to the "Fast & Furious" franchise. Sources told The Wall Street Journal that Diesel griped about Jason Statham appearing to get more hits in than him during their fight scenes in 2015's "Furious 7." According to the report, Diesel suggested to producers that the number of body slams, head butts and roundhouse kicks should all be counted to make sure the fight came off fair. His idea was rebuffed, with producers claiming Diesel's proposed system would be too complicated. This isn't the only issue the 52-year-old actor has had on set. In 2016 he feuded with co-star Dwayne Johnson. During an interview with Rolling Stone, The Rock attributed their issues to a "fundamental difference in philosophies" on how they approach moviemaking and collaborating.
