Dating rumors are swirling around Kevin Costner and Jewel after the two were spotted cozying up to one another at a fundraiser for Jewel's Inspiring Children Foundation on Necker Island in the British Virgin Islands in November.
"There was definitely something going on. They were flirty, and when they were together, it was like they both just lit up," a source told TMZ in a Dec. 7 report. A photo published by the outlet shows the "Yellowstone" star, 68, wrapping both arms around the Grammy nominee's waist as she speaks into a microphone while standing in front of him. Both stars wear big, unmistakable smiles in the pic.
Jewel, 49, also shared a photo of the two from the trip in a video montage she posted to Instagram, noting in the caption that the Oscar winner was "kind enough to mentor our kids this year."

Kevin Costner and Jewel have billionaire Richard Branson to thank for their newfound romance. A source told DailyMail.com that the hookup "happened organically" but noted the relationship is "not serious."
"Richard [Branson] is 100 percent responsible for Kevin and Jewel hooking up," source told the media outlet. "She has been a friend of Branson's for years and he has been a close friend of Kevin's since the 1990s."
The Grammy nominee is said to like that Kevin has a "country western vibe" and is a "man's man." She "has a light in her that has not been there in quite some time," the outlet added.

"Every year, my foundation @inspiringchildren and I go to Necker Island to help host a tennis event w @richardbranson to raise funds for our kids," Jewel captioned a video post about the event featuring photos from the trip.
"Amazing players like @geniebouchard come and support us in playing doubles with the folks who come…," she continued before crediting Kevin Costner for his help.
"It's an incredible time, and one I use to relax, rest and play w my son! @kevincostnermodernwest was kind enough to mentor our kids this year, and Sir Richard was his usual inspiring self — who also plays a mean game of doubles!"

According to TMZ, Kevin Costner and Jewel traveled together — both to and from Necker Island — for the tennis tournament, where the Oscar-winning actor was a guest.
"You could tell they were trying to be discreet, but anybody who saw them could tell something was going on," another source told TMZ of the stars.
Citing more "sources," the outlet reported that Kevin and Jewel's relationship is "rather new."
In addition to his acting career, Kevin has long maintained a side gig fronting the country rock band Kevin Costner & Modern West. While Jewel's Grammy-nominated music has veered between multiple genres, she released her first country album, "Perfectly Clear," in 2008 — the same year Kevin's band dropped its first country album, "Untold Truths."

Kevin Costner just settled a contentious divorce, putting him back on the market for the first time in nearly two decades.
In September 2023, reps for Kevin and Christine Baumgartner announced the stars had settled their divorce after 18 years of marriage (and a slew of headlines about their arguments over child support and more).
"Kevin and Christine Costner have come to an amicable and mutually agreed upon resolution of all issues pertaining to their divorce proceedings," their rep told the Associated Press in a statement.
The two share sons Cayden, 16, and Hayes, 14, and daughter Grace, 13. Kevin is also dad to four adult children from two previous relationships.

Jewel, meanwhile, shares son Kase, 12, with ex-husband Ty Murray. The proud mom recently showed off her son's new venture on Instagram.
"Kase has a small candle company — each one made by hand here in our kitchen," she wrote alongside a video of Kase sitting beneath a Christmas tree while giving viewers a closer look at his candles. "A portion of proceeds go to a children's charity," she added. "He chose a Children's Home in Colorado this year."
