People magazine reported that the two have "been dating for a couple [of] months and she's really happy." Jenna and Steve's relationship was essentially outed when a friend posted a photo of Steve with his arm around Jenna from a Halloween event. This week, it was also reported that Jenna — who filed divorce papers on Oct. 26 — is seeking spousal support from Channing and asking the court for joint custody.

Political pawn?
Kanye West is getting out of politics. The rapper has been a political lightning rod for two years and one of Donald Trump's most vocal supporters. Now, though, he says he's been "used." "My eyes are now wide open and now realize I've been used to spread messages I don't believe in," he tweeted on Oct. 30. "I am distancing myself from politics and completely focusing on being creative !!!" In a series of tweets, Kanye didn't mention Trump's name, but he said he supports several things that Trump has been adamantly opposed to. "I support creating jobs and opportunities for people who need them the most, I support prison reform, I support common-sense gun laws that will make our world safer," he tweeted, later adding, "I support those who risk their lives to serve and protect us and I support holding people who misuse their power accountable." He continued, "I believe in love and compassion for people seeking asylum and parents who are fighting to protect their children from violence and war." But the rapper also contacted TMZ "to make it clear he did not mention Donald Trump in his tweets," the site explained, implying that the president remains in Kanye's favor. On another note, his political beliefs haven't affected his shoe sales.

Scandal and split
Olivia Culpo and Danny Amendola are over after the NFL star was photographed cozying up to another woman, sports reporter Bianca Peters, on a beach in Miami on Oct. 28. According to E! News, the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue model broke things off after seeing the photos because she is "really upset about the situation and still extremely embarrassed." Olivia and Danny started dating in 2016, split in March and got back together over the summer. The other woman in this story apparently has no plans to see Danny again. "Danny is new to Miami and Bianca had no idea he had a girlfriend. She is not in that world. She was a CBS journalist who is just starting her own media company," a source told E! "Now that she understands the situation, she has no plans to see him again. She does not want to be dragged into this."

Apology
Kim Kardashian West faced backlash this week after she shared a video of herself on her Instagram Story in which she uses the R-word. The whole thing started when Kim told a friend that no one knew who she was dressed up as for Halloween (she went to a party as Pamela Anderson circa 1999). "I want to apologize for what I said in a recent video post that is inappropriate and insensitive to the special needs community," Kim said in a statement on Nov. 1. "I try to learn from my mistakes and this is one of those times. Please know that my intention is always pure, and in this case, it was a mistake. I'm sorry."
Secretly engaged
Surprise! Zoe Kravitz is engaged, and she has been for most of the year. In a new cover story for Rolling Stone, the actress revealed that her beau of two years, Karl Glusman, popped the question in February while they were sitting in their living room. "I'm engaged. I haven't told anyone yet — I mean, I haven't told the world. I wanted to keep it private," she said. Karl initially planned to propose in Paris but decided a more casual setting was more appropriate. "I was in sweatpants. I think I was a little drunk. I could feel his heart beating so fast — I was like, 'Baby, are you OK?' I was actually worried about him!" she said. Initially, when Karl got down on his knee, Zoe assumed he was stretching to calm his heart, but then he pulled out a ring box. "He nailed it," Zoe said. "And I love that it wasn't this elaborate plan in Paris. It was at home, in sweatpants."

Bad blood
The split between Ariana Grande and Pete Davidson was said to be mutual, but things got ugly between them after Pete joked about the failed engagement in a "SNL" promo this week. In the promo, Pete asks musical guest Maggie Rogers if she wanted to get married, a clear reference to his lightning-speed engagement to the pop star. Ariana wasn't laughing, tweeting, "For somebody who claims to hate relevancy u sure love clinging to it huh. thank u. next." She eventually deleted the tweet. Reports later said Pete wouldn't reference the breakup when "SNL" airs because the two agreed not to talk about it. Ariana, though, already feels betrayed because Pete has talked about the the former relationship during recent comedy gigs.
