The annual Met Gala is place where Hollywood meets high fashion without an awards show. It's always a night full of fun, flirtations and usually some surprises (Jay Z and Solange's elevator fight, Taylor Swift and Tom Hiddleston dancing on the table)! Still, the pressure is on for the stars to look fierce. Ahead of the 2017 event, many celebrities took to social media to showcase what it takes to get ready for the big night. On April 30, one day before the Gala, Amy Schumer posted this image to Instagram, joking that she may be dressing like a mermaid to the star-studded affair.
