After more than 15 years of ownership transfers, stop-and-start construction and financing woes, the $3.7 billion Fontainebleau Las Vegas finally opened its doors on the Las Vegas Strip on Dec. 13, welcoming a massive guest list of stars to its long-awaited, invite-only grand opening party.
Boasting 67 stories and 3,644 rooms, the luxury resort and casino is now the tallest occupiable building in the state of Nevada — and the second most expensive resort development in Sin City.
Billionaire real estate magnate Jeffrey Soffer, who helmed the project, celebrated its completion by throwing a lavish party with performances by Justin Timberlake, Keith Urban and Paul Anka.
Celebs like Ivanka Trump and Kim Kardashian's pal Jonathan Cheban (pictured) rubbed elbows with the likes of Sylvester Stallone, Tom Brady, Cher, Lenny Kravitz and Kendall Jenner and more as they checked out the stunning interior of the new space, tried their luck in the casino and danced to Justin's headlining performance into the wee hours.

Following performances by Paul Anka and Keith Urban, the Fontainebleau Las Vegas opening party's headliner, Justin Timberlake, wowed a theater full of famous fans with a one-hour set featuring hits like "SexyBack," "Suit and Tie" and "Cry Me a River," according to People magazine.
The singer's performance may have wowed his bank too: JT's rumored to have been paid $6 million for his hour-long show.
Fontainebleau Development CEO Jeffrey Stoffer had plenty to celebrate given the long and complicated path it took for the project to come to fruition. Jeffrey announced plans to open a Vegas sister resort to his family's Miami Fontainebleau back in 2005. But a series of financial interruptions threw that plan — and his ownership — off track. He eventually reacquired the property after it sat unfinished for years.

After their sets, Justin Timberlake (center) and Paul Anka (right) broke in one of the casino's 128 table games with a few rolls of the dice just after midnight, the Las Vegas Review-Journal reported.
The music stars were flanked by Tom Brady, Cher and her boyfriend, music exec Alexander "AE" Edwards and Fontainebleau Development CEO Jeffrey Stoffer as they tried their luck beneath the 42-foot ceilings that arch above the casino's games and slot machines.

Later in the evening, Justin Timberlake and his wife, Jessica Biel, made their way to the Fontainebleau's LIV nightclub where they reportedly parked themselves behind the DJ booth as the party continued well after midnight, per People magazine.
If nightclubs and casinos aren't your thing, the resort also features 36 bars and restaurants as well as a six-and-a-half acre pool deck complete with six pools.
In addition, the 55,000-square-foot Lapis Spa offers visitors use of its infrared saunas and cold plunges, "Salt Mist Chamber," "Snow Shower," "Herbal Inhalation Room" and "Aufguss Sauna," which promises to "blend sauna, aromatherapy steam and a theatrical presentation of towel movements choreographed with music and lights," according to Travel Weekly. (Did we mention the 14,000-square-foot fitness center?)
