Should she stay or should she go?
Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis and special prosecutor Nathan Wade were the focus of a multi-day hearing in Georgia in February meant to decide if Willis — who's been accused of having had an improper relationship with her lead prosecutor in the Georgia election interference case against Donald Trump and 14 co-defendants — should be disqualified from that case.
While critics call it a politically motivated ploy, both Willis and Wade still testified about their relationship, insisting it had nothing to do with the case against Trump and his alleged co-conspirators.
As Willis said in court, "These people are on trial for trying to steal an election in 2020. I'm not on trial no matter how hard you try to put me on trial."
See how Trump and other big names are reacting to the allegations and what's happened in court…

"It was a FAKE CASE from the start," Donald Trump wrote in a post on his Truth Social platform, referring to the Fani Willis-led prosecution against him in Georgia. "Now everybody sees it for what it is."

"How silly that the Republicans want to have Fani Willis fired. For what? Thinking a woman can't have a private life as well as a professional one? Men do it all the time! How ridiculous is this?" Barbra Streisand wrote on X, following it up the next day with another post: "Trump and his allies are attacking Fani Willis the DA who is prosecuting him for attempting to overthrow the will of the voters in Georgia. She has a private relationship with one of the prosecutors."

"Talk about courtroom drama. It was better than an episode of 'Law & Order' yesterday," "The View" co-host Joy Behar said on the talk show, "when Miss Fani WIllis, the woman prosecuting [Donald] Trump in his Georgia election fraud case took the stand. She was questioned by lawyers for Trumps' co-defendants about allegedly profiting over a romantic relationship with her co-conspirator Nathan Wade."
"Defense attorneys are making the case for what they call a conflict of interest. The two lawyers questioning her are married to each other and they have a law firm together. So isn't that a conflict of interest?" she continued.

"They don't have a case against her. I think this is certainly just a political move. This is so that Trump can push this and try to kick this case and this can down the road so that if he becomes president, God forbid, of the United States, that he's gonna say you can't prosecute me in state court because I'm too busy being — he's not really gonna be too busy — but too busy being the president of the United States. So that's what this is really about.
"And Georgia has a law in place that it is not unethical or illegal to have a romantic relationship with co-counsel, even opposing counsel — can you imagine that. … You cannot have a financial interest in the outcome of the case. And so that's their argument — because he was being paid by her office and then she somehow went on dates with him or got a gift from him, the fact that he was being paid per hour made her possibly want to drag the case out because that would have benefitted her. They have to prove that, and they haven't and thats why it's just such a ridiculous political move. There's no real case here." —Co-host Sunny Hostin on "The View"

"I don't think they've been able to prove conflict of interest, which is the issue they are looking at. But it doesn't look good. This is not a good look for Fani Willis. I think she should have disclosed. I think you don't create a mess where you eat and she did. And I also think that as a woman, she's got a double standard … tons of men do things like this and there's no problem. I think as a woman of color she even gets even more scrutiny, and we know that. She knew that, she should have known better, she should have disclosed. She's not done this…
"Well if you want to talk about conflict of interest, lemme talk about all the things that Clarence Thomas [has done]. He failed to disclose gifts from at least 38 vacations, 26 private jet flights, flights on helicopters, VIP passes to sporting events as well as stays at luxury resorts in Florida and Jamaica. And let's not forget that his wife was trying to overturn an election that he is hearing cases about. So if you wanna talk about recusals and conflict of interest I wanna start with the guy sitting at the Supreme Court." —Co-host Ana Navarro on "The View"

"I don't see a conflict of interest. I see the political motivations here. It still frustrates me though because lawyers are trained differently. … These are lawyers and judges and people that know better. And the problem I see in this is she's been trained that way, she's had a very successful career, this is how her mind works. This is such a consequential case. You cannot get the Donald Trump case and make any missteps because the optics alone can undo it. They're working on delays and their tactics are working and that is a problem." —Co-host Sara Haines on "The View"
