In honor of his latest film, "Skyscraper," which debuts on July 13, Wonderwall.com is counting down all the reasons why we're totally devoted to Dwayne…

No. 15: He goes above and beyond
Dwayne Johnson is not about doing the bare minimum — nor has he coasted by on his looks and physical prowess alone. In 1995, he graduated from the University of Miami, which he attended on a full scholarship as he played football for the Hurricanes. Whereas many folks with his skill set would've just focused on athletics and called it a day, The Rock reportedly earned a bachelor of general studies degree. He returned to his alma mater in 2009 to deliver a commencement speech.

No. 14: He's an animal lover
What's better than a hot man? A hot man with a baby animal, of course! Dwayne Johnson served plenty of that when he adopted two French bulldog puppies in 2015. A few months later, he reportedly donated $1,500 to a rescue dog that had been named in his honor. The Rock also keeps horses at his ranch home in Virginia.

No. 13: He and his ex-wife are ex-relationship goals
Though Dwayne Johnson and Dany Garcia divorced in 2008 after 10 years of marriage, they're still actively involved in each other's lives. In fact, Dany has been The Rock's manager since the same year they split romantically. "We knew that we were moving into that period of our lives, the closing of a personal relationship. I was already deeply involved with his agents, I was already commenting on scripts. It was a very natural conversation, where he just said to me, 'I would love for you to do this full-time,'" Dany told Marie Claire in 2017. "Some people go through separation and there's no conversation, and it's a dark time, and one person goes off, but that was never us. We went on this journey together. We were going to change the manner of the relationship together. We spoke every day, and multiple times a day — not only on business, but on what was happening personally. We spent over a year looking at the things that didn't work in our marriage, the reasons why, making sure those elements had been cleared and taken care of, and that we had a real understanding of respect. We gave ourselves room to know that there may be emotional freak-outs as new people come into our lives. We were like, 'Okay, we're human, so we're going to work through that.' But if you have this agreement that no one is going to leave the table, suddenly you can tackle everything." If only all breakups were handled with so much maturity!
No. 12: He's one of the world's all-time greatest wrestlers
The Rock is one of wrestling's biggest names — duh! Dwayne Johnson was the WWF's first third-generation wrestler. His father, Rocky Johnson, and his maternal grandfather, Peter Maivia, both made careers for themselves in the wrestling world. The superstar dominates the family sport and has won 17 championships over the course of his wrestling career in the WWF and WWE.
No. 11: He's got style
Dwayne Johnson always pulls out all the stops when it comes to the red carpet. Just check out this look from the Mexico City premiere of "Hercules" back in 2014. The Rock really knows how to work a pocket square, right?! And we give him mad props for perfectly color-coordinating a floral-print button-down with the deep purple of the "Hercules" backdrop behind him. Well-done!
No. 10: He has the best smile
Dwayne Johnson has a reputation for being one of the nicest guys in Hollywood, and he's got the smile to back it up. It's rare to see The Rock without a big ol' grin plastered across his handsome face, and his laughter is infectious, instantly spreading joy wherever he goes.
No. 9: He's got the best body in the business
Uhm, hello? Dwayne Johnson is ridiculously ripped. Do we need to say more? The Rock has spent countless hours sculpting his body to perfection. It's not just about vanity, though. For the wrestler-actor, health and fitness are a way of life. Think about all the self-control and willpower required to achieve this look. Impressive, right? "For 'Hercules,' it was a 22-week diet, full-on. I'd eat a bunch of egg whites, filet mignon, chicken, fish, oatmeal, broccoli, asparagus, a baked potato, cream of rice, salad and complex carbs. All of this measured and weighed," he told Bodybuilding.com of how he prepared for the 2014 action flick.
No. 8: He's all about motivating others to achieve their goals
In May 2016, Dwayne Johnson launched his very own iPhone app, the Rock Clock, which is essentially an alarm clock that wakes up users with exclusive inspirational video messages from the actor-wrestler. Users can sync their alarms with The Rock's so that they too can rise and shine at 4:30 every morning to start their daily fitness routines. "Our goal was create a free, direct, uncomplicated, cool, motivating app to help us all get after our goals every morning," Dwayne explained on Instagram. "Absolutely BEST part of #RockClock is that I'll be able to track all your goals and you'll track mine. We'll chase our greatness and kick some a–. Or get our a—- kicked;) Either way, we'll do it together."
No. 7: He's been in some of our all-time favorite films
Dwayne Johnson has starred in some of our all-time favorite films — from the "Fast and Furious" franchise to the "Jumanji" reboot and "Moana." And clearly we're not the only ones who race to the theaters to see his movies. In 2017, The Rock starred in the second-highest grossing film of the year: "The Fate of the Furious" (pictured). That same year, he was the second-highest paid male actor (after Mark Wahlberg), banking $65 million for his work on the big screen. And if you ask us, he's worth every penny! But that's not all…
No. 6: He's actually a really good actor
The "Fast and Furious" franchise isn't exactly the best barometer for an actor's talent or skill level, so if you really want to judge Dwayne Johnson's on-camera abilities, you'll have to look a little further down his résumé. Back in 2005, The Rock earned raves when he starred as gay cowboy bodyguard and aspiring actor Elliot Wilhelm in "Be Cool," one of his earliest roles outside the world of professional wrestling. "The film lights up whenever [he's] on screen," CinemaBlend wrote in a review of the movie. We couldn't have said it better ourselves!
No. 5: He's a doting daddy
Dwayne Johnson is SUCH an adorable daddy to his three daughters: teenager Simone Alexandra (pictured) with ex-wife Dany Garcia and two little ones with girlfriend Lauren Hashian, Jasmine Lia and Tiana Gia. In April 2018, The Rock took to Instagram to gush over his girls while announcing the arrival of his youngest. "And to my third and youngest daughter, Tiana Gia – like I did when your two older sisters Simone Alexandra and Jasmine Lia were born, you have my word, I'll love, protect, guide and make ya laugh for the rest of my life. Your crazy dad has many responsibilities and wears many hats in this big ol' world, but being your dad will always be the one I'm most proud to wear," he captioned a photo of the newborn cradled in his arms. Aww!
No. 4: He's not afraid to show his emotions
He may be known as The Rock, but in real life, Dwayne Johnson is a total softie. In April 2016, the wrestler-actor took to Instagram to admit that he got "teary eyed" while greeting a very special fan — a 1-year-old girl named Sally who underwent open-heart surgery when she was just 5 months old — on the Savannah, Georgia, set of "Baywatch." A year earlier, he admitted on social media that he shed a few tears after an encounter with a young fan who'd battled Hodgkin's lymphoma. The superstar has also been honest and open about his struggle with depression.
No. 3: He has a sense of humor about himself
Dwayne Johnson might be one of the coolest dudes on the planet, but he still knows how to make fun of himself. He often takes to social media to share hilarious (and embarrassing) photos from his pre-fame days. In July 2014, for example, The Rock tweeted an epic throwback photo of himself from the '90s rocking a tucked-in black turtleneck with a chain necklace and a fanny pack. No shame!
No. 2: He's incredibly generous
Dwayne Johnson is all about showering his friends and family with gifts. In December 2012, he surprised his mom with a Cadillac truck for Christmas. ("At 14 I saw my mom crying about our only car being repossessed. This felt good. #MerryXmasMom," The Rock captioned a collage of photos capturing the moment on Twitter.) Then in May 2013, he gave his cousin a brand new Lexus SUV. In January 2014, he gifted his housekeeper of more than a decade a Ford Edge. And in December 2015, he surprised his uncle with a Ford truck.
No. 1: He always has time for fans
The Internet is practically littered with accounts of fans' one-on-one experiences with Dwayne Johnson. (Seriously, Google it!) The Rock has never met a fan he couldn't fit into his extremely busy schedule. It's good to know that as much as we love Dwayne, he's totally devoted to us too!
