Country music star Morgan Wallen was arrested and booked in the early morning hours of April 8, 2024, on multiple charges — three counts of felony reckless endangerment and one count of misdemeanor disorderly conduct — after he threw a chair from the rooftop of Chief's Bar around 10:45 p.m on April 7, according to the Metro Nashville Police Department. "The chair landed on Broadway, close to 2 MNPD officers," MNPD wrote on X alongside this mug shot.
According to the arrest affidavit, as reported by local news outlet WSMV, witnesses watched the "Last Night" singer pick up a chair, throw it over the roof then laugh about it. The rooftop of the bar — which is owned by fellow country music star Eric Church — is six stories above the street.
Morgan posted a $15,250 bond and was released from Davidson County Jail around 3:30 a.m. on April 8.

Darius Rucker was arrested on a minor drug offense in Tennessee on Feb. 1, 2024.
The former Hootie & the Blowfish singer-turned-country star was booked on two counts of simple possession/casual exchange of a controlled substance and one count of a violation of the state's vehicle registration law — all misdemeanors. He was released from jail about an hour later after posting a $10,500 bond.

Country music star Zach Bryan was arrested in Vinita, Oklahoma, on Sept. 7, 2023, and booked on an obstruction of investigation charge, TMZ reported. This booking photo was taken at the Craig County Jail before he bonded out.
Zach, who just days earlier scored the No. 1 spot on the Billboard 200 chart with the release of his self-titled album, took to Twitter to apologize for the incident that led to his arrest.
"Today I had an incident with the Oklahoma Highway Patrol. Emotions got the best of me and I was out of line in the things I said. I support law enforcement as much as anyone can, I was just frustrated in the moment, it was unlike me and I apologize.," he wrote on X, formerly Twitter.
"They brought me to jail, and there is a mug shot of me floating around. Prayers we can all move on from this and prayers people know I'm just trying the best I can, I love you guys and I am truly sorry to the officers."

On Aug. 21, 2018, country music star Gretchen Wilson landed behind bars after an incident on an airplane.
According to People magazine, when authorities interviewed the "Redneck Woman" singer on the jetway at Connecticut's Bradley International Airport after her flight landed, she "became belligerent" and "caused a disturbance." She was arrested and booked by Connecticut State Police.
The following month, a judge dropped the charge — misdemeanor breach of peace — after the music star donated $500 to a fund for injured crime victims.

Country music singer Sam Hunt was arrested in Nashville for driving under the influence on Nov. 21, 2019, after police saw him swerving and driving the wrong way down the road.
Police said he smelled of booze and had bloodshot eyes.
He also handed them a passport and a credit card when they asked for his ID.
The "Body Like a Back Road" singer later pleaded guilty to misdemeanor DUI charges and was sentenced to 11 months and 29 days in jail, though all but 48 hours of that was suspended. Sam also had to complete an alcohol safety course. He lost his license for a year and was required to have an interlock installed in his vehicle when it was reinstated.

Country music singer Billy Currington was arrested in Georgia in April 2013 after being indicted by a grand jury on charges of making terroristic threats and abuse of an elder person.
According to TMZ, the Grammy nominee allegedly got so upset when a 70-year-old tour captain piloted his riverboat close to the singer's dock that Billy jumped in his own boat and chased the man down.
Billy ultimately pleaded no contest to the charge of abuse of an elderly person and was sentenced to five years of probation plus a $1,000 fine and anger management counseling.
According to The Boot, when the singer's attorney said in court that Billy was extremely embarrassed by the incident, the judge responded, "He should be."

Rascal Flatts guitarist Joe Don Rooney was arrested on a DUI charge after the vehicle he was driving crashed into a tree line along a road in Franklin, Tennessee, just outside Nashville on Sept. 9, 2021, shortly after 4 a.m., a Williamson County Sheriff's Office spokesperson confirmed.
The country music star was booked into the Williamson County Jail, where he posed for this mug shot, and got out on a $2,500 bond the same day.
He lost his driver's license and pleaded guilty, ultimately serving two days of jail time; his remaining sentence of 11 months and 27 days was suspended.

On Feb. 16, 2005, Kid Rock was arrested on an assault charge after he allegedly hit a DJ at an adult entertainment club.
"Everything is wonderful. It was a beautiful night," the music star said as he left the Criminal Justice Center after posting a $3,000 bond.
He ultimately pleaded no contest to criminal assault and was given a suspended sentence of 11 months and 29 days in jail on top of being ordered to complete eight hours of anger management classes and pay $180 to replace the DJ's broken glasses.

Country crooner Randy Travis was arrested for public intoxication after police found him clutching an open bottle of wine while parked in front of a church in Sanger, Texas, on Feb. 6, 2012.
A few months later, he pleaded no contest, paid a $264 fine and was placed on a 90-day deferred, or probationary, status.

Country music star Randy Travis was arrested by Texas police on Aug. 7, 2012, after he was found unclothed and smelling of alcohol following an accident in which he drove his 1998 Pontiac Trans Am off the side of a two-lane highway near Tioga, Texas, and struck several barricades in a construction zone.
He was charged with driving while intoxicated and felony retaliation because he allegedly threatened to fatally shoot highway patrol troopers who responded to a concerned caller who notified authorities of "a man lying in the roadway."
He later pleaded guilty to driving while intoxicated and was given two years of probation, a 180-day suspended jail sentence and a $2,000 fine.

The late Johnny Cash posed for a mug shot in El Paso, Texas, after U.S. Customs agents found hundreds of pills and tranquilizers in his luggage as he returned from a trip to Juarez, Mexico, in October 1965.
He received a 30-day suspended sentence and paid a $1,000 fine.

Country music legend Willie Nelson was arrested on Nov. 26, 2010, after authorities found six ounces of marijuana on his tour bus at a checkpoint in Sierra Blanca, Texas, according to the U.S. Border Patrol.
