Alyssa Milano is hitting back at online trolls who've targeted her 12-year-old son over a fundraiser she set up for him. The drama kicked off in late January when the "Who's the Boss" actress asked her followers to donate to a GoFundMe fundraiser to benefit her son's baseball team. Alyssa immediately faced backlash, as many of her followers assumed she and her husband, CAA talent agent David Bugliari, have more than enough money to pay for the whole thing.
While Alyssa is certainly used to criticism, she drew the line after trolls started teeing off on her innocent son.

On Jan. 25, Alyssa Milano brought attention to her son's upcoming baseball trip.
"My son's baseball team is raising money for their Cooperstown trip," she tweeted. "Any amount would be so greatly appreciated."
The goal was to raise $10,000 for "travel costs," "uniforms," "dues for families" and "pins or novelty items to make [their] tournaments memorable experiences beyond the field," she said.

Alyssa Milano defended herself amid the initial wave of backlash: "I'm getting media inquiries about whether I have financially contributed to my son's baseball team," she wrote on X, explaining, "I've paid for uniforms for the entire team and coaches, thrown bday parties and sponsor any kid who can't afford monthly dues.
"The kids also do fundraising themselves — car washes, movie nights, and many other fun things! Thank you to all who have contributed to the gofundme! You've made things easier for these boys and their families," she added.

Adults then began targeting Alyssa Milano's young son, Milo Thomas, over his mom's fundraising request.
The actress shared a screenshot of a message one man left on her son's Instagram page calling her "selfish" for "asking middle income people from society to donate to a baseball team."
Milo responded, "You do realize I'm only 12 and I love my mom. My mom is the greatest human of all time. She does everything for everyone."
But the bully wasn't done: He continued to lambast Alyssa on Milo's page. Milo replied, "Please get off my page. I'm only 12."

On Feb. 1, Alyssa Milano responded to the backlash (again) and zeroed in on people coming for her son.
"Every parent raises money for their child's sports teams and many of them do so through GoFundMe. I am no different," she said. "As much as I'd love to pay for the entire team and their families for travel, transportation, hotel, food and beverage, uniforms, trading pins and all the things teams do for this kind of trip — I can not afford to do so. Maybe someday."
"Also, if I did pay for everyone — my trolls would find something else to be hurtful about. Regardless of how you feel about me, going on to my hardworking 12 year old son's Instagram page and leaving these kinds of messages is so horrid. Leave the kids alone. Let them play baseball. If you are against donating — don't donate," she added.
