Oh, how times have changed.
More than a decade after his "tiger's blood" lifestyle saw him losing jobs and becoming a meme, Charlie Sheen's life now revolves around his two teenage boys — and according to the actor, he doesn't have much help in parenting the kids.
In a December 2023 chat with People magazine, the former "Two and a Half Men" star opened up about being six years sober and raising his children as a "single dad."

Charlie Sheen spends most his life "doing single dad stuff" for his two sons, Max and Bob.
"I've mostly been raising my 14-year-old boys," he told People magazine in December 2023, adding that their mother — his ex-wife Brooke Mueller — isn't very present in their lives.
"Their mom has been trying to figure some stuff out on her end, so she's not in the picture too much right now," he said.
The boys, however, are doing great. "They're really cool, really smart, and really funny," he said.

Charlie Sheen wasn't always the doting dad he is today. Back in 2013, sons Max and Bob were placed in the temporary care of his ex-wife, Denise Richards, as the actor and then-wife Brooke Mueller — the boys' mom — were in thralls of drug addiction.
The one-time highest paid actor on TV and Brooke were married from 2008 to 2011. When their divorce was finalized, he was ordered to pay her $55,000 a month in child support. At the time, he was also paying Denise $20,000 for their daughters, Sami and Lola.

With two teens under the same roof, the Sheen household is very typical, as Max and Bob are "worshipping" technology, much to their father's chagrin.
"Although on the flip side, when they're doing that it gives me a little time to not be dragging them all over the city. But I also feel like the screens detract them from having other opportunities to expand their minds in other areas," Charlie Sheen told People magazine in December 2023.
Still, Charlie doesn't think their reliance on devices is all bad. "They're into some cool stuff that isn't just 'Fortnite,'" he added.

Although Charlie Sheen was once one of the biggest stars in the world, his kids treat his notoriety with a collective shrug.
"It doesn't matter, whatever we're doing that might be important and connected to our job, or some high-brow moment of responsibility, the kids don't care," he told People magazine in December 2023.
"The other day I was in the dental chair having a filling replaced and [my son] Max comes up to me and asks me if I have a gift card for a game he wants to buy on his phone," Charlie recalled. "It's like, when has he ever seen me walking around with a gift card? I don't game! I'm not remotely connected to the gaming world, other than trying to manage and supervise their time doing it."
