The past week in celebrity news saw babies on the brain for some and a jaw-dropping physical altercation for others. But it was a certain reality titan who dominated the news cycle for several days: A report surfaced this week claiming that Kim Kardashian West and Kanye West are on the verge of a split. In fact, Us Weekly quoted a friend of Kim's who straight-up said she "wants a divorce." The friend went on to say that Kim has "felt trapped" in the marriage but claimed she isn't rushing to make a change quite yet as Kanye continues to recover from a mental health crisis. Not long after that report, several other outlets came out with stories contradicting Us. Those all acknowledged that there is sometimes tension, but insisted that Kim and Kanye are nowhere near their breaking point.

Emergency hearing
A judge shot down Brad Pitt's request to have all documents and proceedings related to his bitter custody battle with Angelina Jolie sealed during an emergency hearing on Dec. 7. TMZ quoted sources close to Brad who said the actor's motivation was "to thwart [Angelina] from further damaging their children by airing their dirty laundry in public." Angelina insiders then claimed she just wants the court to enforce their current temporary custody arrangement. But this is far from over: A regular hearing has now been scheduled for January.
Baby bliss
It's baby bliss for Jimmy Kimmel and Molly McNearney. The happy couple is expecting their second child together. Jimmy made the announcement on his late-night show while also revealing that he would be hosting the Academy Awards! "Congratulations to me. I'm hosting the Oscars and I had sex," he joked, adding they don't know the baby's gender yet. "We want it to be a surprise, but I have been trying to think of names that would work for either a boy or a girl. So far I've come up with two: No. 1, Dyson, after the vacuum. Or 'Jelatin,' with a J. No? That's exactly what my wife said."

Not at fault
Russell Crowe did nothing wrong when he forcibly removed rapper Azealia Banks from his hotel room in October 2016, authorities have determined. Azealia had previously announced plans to press charges against the actor for assault, claiming her choked her, spit on her and used racist language toward her during a dinner party. Prosecutors determined that he merely picked her up and removed her from his room when she became out of control and started threatening to kill people. What's in a name?
Kim Kardashian West, Khloe Kardashian and Kourtney Kardashian are determined to stop Blac Chyna from cashing in on their family name. The sisters' companies are fighting Chyna's request to trademark "Angela Renee Kardashian," which will legally become her name if and when she marries their brother, Rob Kardashian. Last May, Chyna filed legal papers to trademark the moniker for use in entertainment services, television and movie appearances, living as a "social media celebrity," and in hosting parties for profit. But on Dec. 7, 2016, TMZ revealed that new legal docs show a storm brewing, with the sisters claiming Chyna is "deliberately seeking to profit from the goodwill and popularity." The docs claim the sisters would "suffer damage including irreparable injury to their reputation and goodwill" if Chyna is granted the trademark. After the drama made headlines, TMZ reported that Kris Jenner personally assured Chyna "there's no beef" and that she's "calling off the legal eagles." Us Weekly reported that the family hopes to resolve the issue peacefully. "They do love Chyna," a source told the magazine. "[But] it's a complicated business issue."

After being released from jail, he told a local news channel that he was fine, but "just embarrassed."
Don't mess with the marriage
Pink and her husband Carey Hart are no strangers to rumors about their marriage. This week, after an Australian tabloid claimed the two were on the road to divorce, the singer took to Instagram to laugh off and mock the report. While posting a photo of the cover, Pink hilariously wrote, "Apparently @hartluck I HAVE HAD IT!!!!!!!," jokingly adding that her husband "better fix" everything. What he needs to fix, she doesn't know, but "it's obviously BAD," she wrote. In the pregnant singer's same tongue-in-cheek criticism of her man, she added, "And before you leave can you please teach me how to set the alarm? I can't wait to take over your closet!!!!!!"
A violent reunion
Things got incredibly tense during the "Teen Mom" reunion show that aired Dec. 5 when Farrah Abraham and her off-and-on boyfriend Simon Saran began blasting and name-calling Amber Portwood's fiance, Matt Baier. Amber stormed out from backstage, ready to get physical with Farrah. At one point, Amber tried punching her fellow reality TV star but missed. Then Farrah's parents ran to the stage, as did Matt, a slew of producers and security. Chaos broke out as Matt tossed Farrah's dad to the floor, prompting Farrah to say that Amber and Matt were "criminals." Matt and Simon also had to be restrained from attacking each other. Reunions, ain't they fun!
