NeuraLink, a company founded by billionaire Elon Musk, implanted a brain chip in a human for the very first time.
The product, which he's named Telepathy, will seemingly allow customers the ability to control computers and devices like phones with their minds. The hope, Elon has said, is to restore communication and movement as well as enhance cognitive abilities like memory.
Right now, Telepathy is focused on helping people who've lost the use of their limbs.
While Elon has touted this implant as a huge success, some people — even his supporters — are leery of the brain chip.

"The first @Neuralink product is called Telepathy," Elon Musk wrote on X on Jan. 29, explaining that it "enables control of your phone or computer, and through them almost any device, just by thinking."
"Initial users will be those who have lost the use of their limbs. Imagine if Stephen Hawking could communicate faster than a speed typist or auctioneer. That is the goal," he added.
