As we near the Paris 2024 Summer Olympics, the uniforms for Team USA and other countries are being unveiled… and not without some controversy.
When track and field outlet Citius Mag revealed the Nike uniforms for the sport on X in April, the skimpy nature of the women's look faced serious criticism. Nike's chief innovation officer later noted that athletes of all genders have multiple options to choose from including compression shorts, crop tops, tank tops and bodysuits with shorts.
The same day the world reacted to the skimpy ensemble, the iconic brand debuted a teaser of more of the looks we'll be seeing on the best athletes in the world.
