Kanye West vs. everybody. It's not exactly a secret that Ye has feuded with many stars over the years, but he's really ratcheted up the animosity in 2022. From his ex-wife to Black History Month, no one (and nothing) seems safe from the rapper-designer's ire these days.
Keep reading to see who the rapper has feuded with this year… so far!

On Oct. 3, rapper-designer Kanye West went political when he donned a shirt that read "White Lives Matter" at his show during Paris Fashion Week. Soon after, notable names including Vogue editor Gabriella Karefa-Johnson criticized him for it — and stars like Hailey Bieber backed the fashion journalist. Ye decided to take out his frustration on Hailey's husband, music star Justin Bieber. "Wait Am I canceled again??? Justin please let me know," Ye wrote on social media. He also warned the pop star to control his wife, writing, "Justin get your girl before I get mad." In the midst of this, Justin penned a supportive message to Gabriella. As it all simmered, Kanye took to his Instagram Story to praise his fashion ideas, mock Gabriella's boots and take a dig at an old friend, writing, "But I'm sure John Legend still wants a pair."

"You're a bully and a joke." Those are the words Gigi Hadid used to describe Kanye West after he publicly criticized Vogue editor Gabriella Karefa-Johnson, who called the "White Lives Matter" shirt Ye wore in his Paris Fashion Week show on Oct. 3 "irresponsible." After the rapper-designer posted a message insulting Gabriella's personal fashion, Gigi had seen enough. "You wish u had a percentage of her intellect," Gigi commented to Ye. "You have no idea haha…. If there's actually a point to any of your s***. She might be the only person that could save u. As if the 'honor' of being invited to your show should keep someone from giving their opinion? Lol. You're a bully and a joke."

In early 2022, Kanye West went back and forth between bashing Kim Kardashian and begging her for a reconciliation. In January, he accused his ex-wife of "kidnapping" their daughter Chicago on her 4th birthday, and he publicly blasted the "Keeping Up With The Kardashians" star for letting their older daughter, North West, have a TikTok account. He then took "accountability" for "harassing" Kim. His up-and-down feelings (and social media messages) about Kim continued consistently until a judge declared them legally single on March 2. Within weeks, however, he accused Kim of keeping their four kids away from him. On March 14, the rapper said on Instagram he hadn't seen his oldest daughter, North, in a week — something Kim branded a blatant lie. "Please stop with this narrative, you were just here this morning picking up the kids for school," she commented.

Kanye West accused ex-wife Kim Kardashian's sister Khloe Kardashian (and the whole Kardashian-Jenner clan) of "lying," sparking fresh drama. This feud began in early October after Ye brought up daughter Chicago's birthday. "You are the father of my nieces and nephews and I'm trying to be respectful but please STOP tearing Kimberly down and using our family when you want to deflect," Khloe publicly wrote her former brother-in-law on social media. She slammed the rapper for the "birthday narrative … again," adding, "Enough already. We all know the truth and in my opinion, everyone's tired of it." Ye, naturally, wasn't going to let this slide, saying the reality TV family "kidnapped" Chicago. "You are lying and are liars yall basically kidnapped Chicago on her birthday so she could remember her father not being there," he wrote, seemingly ignoring the fact that he was in attendance. "So there yall also threw a party before [my son] Psalms birthday when I was flying back from Japan to be there for his birthday and the first I heard about it was seeing pics of the party on line." Kanye then took issue with his custody arrangement with Kim. He's acknowledged that Kim gets the kids about 80% of the time. "Also I should see my children 100 % of the time but since there's a separation it should have been 50% of the time ya'll wouldn't have played with Donda like that in Jesus name," he said, invoking his late mother, Donda West.

For unknown reasons, Kanye West zeroed in on Donald Trump's son-in-law Jared Kushner and the former White House adviser's brother, Josh Kushner, in the fall. "F*** Josh Kushner," he wrote on Instagram on Oct. 6 before invoking the name of Josh's wife, model Karlie Kloss. "What if I had 10% of Karlie Kloss underwear line without you knowing. And you only had 5% without you knowing," Ye wrote. He then decided that was a good time to take a shot at Jared and fawn over his wife, Ivanka Trump. "Jared was holding Trump back. Ivanka is fire."

Fashion designer Tremaine Emory found himself in Kanye West's crosshairs after the rapper brought up late Louis Vuitton and Off-White designer Virgil Abloh's name. Ye implied that Virgil's 2021 death wasn't accidental, despite the fact that Virgil was diagnosed with cardiac angiosarcoma, a type of cancer. Tremaine, Supreme's creative director, slammed Kanye for invoking Virgil's name (Ye called Virgil his "best friend"), implying the two weren't friendly and Ye was only using it for a "victim campaign." "This time last year, you said Virgil's designs [were] a disgrace to the Black community [in front] of all your employees at Yeezy – ASK LUCETTE HOLLAND … I GOT ALL THE 'RECEIPTS' (Don't let me get into the things you said about [Virgil] after his death)," Tremaine wrote, further claiming Ye wasn't invited to Virgil's "actual funeral" and wasn't "allowed to speak" at the public funeral. "YOU ARE SO BROKEN. KEEP VIRGIL NAME OUT YOUR MOUTH … KEEP @gabriellak_j's NAME OUT YOUR MOUTH … [You're] not a victim. [You're] just an insecure narcissist that's dying for validation from the fashion world … take care … at least we'll always have 'UGANDA,'" Tremaine wrote. After this, Kanye said Tremaine "threatened" him. Ye then called out names of prominent people who supported Tremaine, including Migos rapper Offset.

Not all of Kanye's feuds were with mainstream names. In the midst of his October diatribes, he went after Alex Arnault, an executive at luxury goods company LVMH (Alex's father is the CEO). Alex got his father into a "war" he can't win, Ye said.

There's a lot to unpack here. Kanye West had issues with Pete Davidson for years, but his vitriol reached new heights while the comedian was dating Kim Kardashian (Kim and Pete split in August after nine months of dating). Kanye's Instagram feed in early 2022 read like an anti-shrine to the "Saturday Night Live" star. Not only did Ye nickname him "Skete," but he also made music videos that depicted himself beating up Pete and even decapitating him. (Ye called it "art.") He also made several derogatory and unfounded claims against his nemesis involving drugs. "Apologize to your family for being in your family," he wrote to Pete on March 16. Rarely did a day go by without Ye posting about Pete, fanning the feud flames. Pete, by the way, texted Kanye amid all this and said he was "done being quiet." He also shared a selfie from what he claimed was Kim's bed and told Kanye he was "in bed with your wife." Kanye, naturally, had issues with Pete calling Kim his "wife."

On March 16, Kanye directed a racial slur at Trevor Noah after the host of "The Daily Show" addressed the rapper's feuds with ex-wife Kim Kardashian and her then-boyfriend, Pete Davidson. "What [Kim] is going through is terrifying to watch, and it shines a spotlight on what so many women go through when they choose to leave," Trevor said on his March 15 Comedy Central show. "What we're seeing is one of the most powerful, one of the richest women in the world, unable to get her ex to stop texting her, to stop chasing after her, to stop harassing her." After leaving the slur up for several hours, Ye deleted the post from Instagram. Several hours later, Instagram suspended Kanye's account for 24 hours.

Kanye West demanded that Billie Eilish publicly apologize to Travis Scott (someone else he's feuded with) after he decided that she'd dissed the rapper during a concert. On Feb. 5, the "Happier Than Ever" singer went viral for stopping her show mid-concert after seeing a fan struggling to catch their breath. The 20-year-old summoned her team to get the fan an inhaler, an act of goodwill that was universally praised. "We're taking care of our people, hold on. I wait for people to be OK until I keep going," she said, which many felt was a swipe at Travis, seeing as 10 people died at his Astroworld concert in Houston in November 2021 due to a horrific crowd surge. Travis continued to perform as the mass casualty incident was happening. On Feb. 10, Kanye made it clear he felt Billie crossed a line, venting in an all-caps Instagram message. "COME ON BILLIE WE LOVE YOU PLEASE APOLOGIZE TO TRAV AND TO THE FAMILIES OF THE PEOPLE WHO LOST THEIR LIVES," he wrote. "NO ONE INTENDED THIS TO HAPPEN. TRAV DIDN'T HAVE ANY IDEA OF WHAT WAS HAPPENING WHEN HE WAS ON STAGE AND WAS VERY HURT BY WHAT HAPPENED." Ye then wrote an ultimatum to Billie, who, like Ye, was scheduled to perform at Coachella (he later dropped off the bill). "AND YES TRAV WILL BE WITH ME AT COACHELLA BUT NOW I NEED BILLIE TO APOLOGIZE BEFORE I PERFORM." Billie, by the way, didn't apologize, responding, "literally never said a thing about Travis. Was just helping a fan."

Kanye West zeroed in on Kris Jenner's boyfriend, Corey Gamble, in February 2022, calling him "Godless." "God has a plan to remove the godless Corey needed to never be here anyway," Ye said on social media on Feb. 19. "And I think he's a nice person Not a great person A nice person who used to be around Puff's family then got around Justin Bieber and then when Kris got divorced he slid in He became the tv version of a father figure and as he always called [himself] 'a REAL n*****' He once told my wife he knew what music she should be listening to So when I seen him a week later I had him removed from my daughters birthday party." (That's the same party that Kanye claimed Kim Kardashian kept him from by "kidnapping" their daughter.)

D.L. Hughley has long had opinions about Kanye West, insisting in February that Ye was "stalking" Kim Kardashian. Things really took a turn in March when Kanye threatened the comedian. "DL Hughley is a pawn Yeah I know a king not supposed to address a pawn but I address everything and find addresses DL So don't speak on me or my children I can afford to hurt u," he wrote on social media. Along the way, he added, "God does not like you. You have no favor. Your family hates you. I would hate to be related to somebody who used to be famous. Now you just known as a broke pawn." The rapper also shared a video of D.L. fainting after suffering a medical episode during a comedy show last year. D.L., for the most part, didn't back down. "You can tell when people surround themselves with real ones. REAL ONES in your corner would NEVER allow you to threaten a man or his family, especially in a public forum," he tweeted in mid-March. He later implied that Ye has mental health issues. "Mmmm! Ain't it weird that #Kanye supposedly has all these goons who will kill for him, but not one of them will get his prescriptions filled? Here's a thought while you're on your way to kill me in Calabasas, how about somebody drop by CVS and pick up his Xanax! Lol." On March 16, the two went at it again, with Ye sharing images of D.L. while making fun of (gasp!) his fashion. Kanye also said he previously defended D.L.'s comedy "when he had work." The two fired salvos often on March 16, with D.L. eventually writing, "Kanye ain't it funny how you can explain my jokes, but not your behavior?"

Kanye West and Kid Cudi had a close, close bond for well over a decade, and they collaborated multiple times. However, Kanye announced in February that Cudi would no longer appear on his "Donda 2" project because he was friends with Pete Davidson (who was dating Kanye's ex-wife, Kim Kardashian, at the time). "Just so everyone knows Cudi will not be on Donda because he's friends with you know who," Ye wrote before slighting Billie Eilish, adding, "We all speak in Billie language now." Cudi fired back at Ye, calling him a "dinosaur." He also tweeted on Kanye, "We talked weeks ago about this. You're whack for flipping the script and posting this lie just for a look on the internet. You ain't no friend. BYE." A few days later Kanye said he had "love" for Cudi.

Jeff Bezos was in Kanye West's bullseye over Super Bowl weekend in February. The Bezos shade came in the midst of a Pete Davidson rant. "BEZOS BOUGHT THE WALL STREET JOURNAL AND WILL STILL NEVER HAVE THIS LEVEL OF INFLUENCE NO MATTER HOW MANY DINNERS HE DOES WITH MY WIFE AND SKETER," Kanye wrote on Instagram. Bezos, by the way, did not buy the Wall Street Journal. He bought the Washington Post in 2013. It seemed that Kanye wasn't happy that Pete was slated to go to space aboard Jeff's Blue Origin rocket — the same one William Shatner rode in — on March 23. (Pete had to bow out days before liftoff.)

Kanye West doesn't seem to be a fan of Machine Gun Kelly, who happens to be one of Pete Davidson's friends (sense a theme?). While firing away at Disney CEO Bob Chapek, Ye said the executive "will never control the high schools no ones ever heard a Machine Gun Kelly song." Kanye also posted a photo of Pete and MGK acting during a "Saturday Night Live" skit, supposedly as a way of taunting them.
_
Kanye West came for a little-known "Saturday Night Live" writer and screenwriter named Dave Sirus on March 16. And it seems like his vitriol had to do with Pete Davidson. "Come on Dave please help write some more culturally irrelevant jokes for SKETE," he said on social media, using his rhythmic nickname for Kim Kardashian's boyfriend. "You don't have to have talent these days you just need a Hillary Clinton tattoo." Dave was also a writer and co-producer of "The King of Staten Island," which, you guessed it, starred Pete.

It's not just people that Kanye West has issues with. In February, Ye balked at the labeling of "Black History Month." In Ye's eyes, he wants to rename it "Black Future Month." "I need Black Future Month. I need Black Possibility Month," he wrote on Instagram on Feb. 1. "I'm tired of seeing us getting hosed-down. I'm tired of talking about slavery."
