Kourtney Kardashian is over her family's Scott Disick reunion pressure
The Kardashian-Jenner family's still pining for a Kourtney Kardashian-Scott Disick reunion. Like … a permanent one. A new teaser for June 3's "Keeping Up With the Kardashians" shows Kourtney looking at old photos with Kris Jenner as they come across a cute throwback pic of Kourtney and Scott. After joking to Kourtney that she and her ex "look like you're at the prom," Kris gets real about how much she hopes Kourtney and Scott, who share three kids and are still friends, can "grow old" together. "Listen, there's nothing I would love more than to see you live your life and grow old with someone, be happy and content and peaceful. And it would always be so fabulous if it was the dad of your children, you know?" Kris explains (via the Daily Mail). "Wouldn't that be a dream," Kourtney says dryly. Her tone doesn't stop her mother, though. "And I think he fits well with all of us 'cause we've all been around each other for so long," Kris says. "I think at this stage from what he tells me, he would love for it to be you and him." Still sarcastic, Kourtney says, "He's a talker." The clip, filmed before Kourtney began dating Travis Barker, also includes a confessional where she elaborates on the pressure she feels to make things work with Scott. "My whole family, for a couple years now, love to just bring up me and Scott getting back together," she says. "It's frustrating because Scott and I have had our own private talks but sometimes I don't care to have it be such a conversation all the time, so I'll just kind of brush it off in a nice way." When she tells her mom there's always the problem of one if not both of them "being with someone else," Kris continues to encourage her daughter to consider Scott again, reminding her she's "not under pressure or [a] time thing." Kourtney, however, remains unmoved: "No, I'm good," she tells Kris. "KUWTK" comes to an end this year after 20 seasons on the air.

The social media team over at Goop either deserves a raise or is about to get fired … As Ben Affleck and Jennifer Lopez continue making headlines with their reincarnated early aughts romance, the staff over at Gwyneth Paltrow's lifestyle site had a little meme fun at her expense. A recent post on the Goop Instagram page features a photo of Gwyneth seated beside her then-boyfriend, the aforementioned Ben, at a fashion event back in 1998. Gwyneth is rolling her eyes dramatically in the pic as her "Shakespeare In Love" costar whispers in her ear. Taking a cue from the current astrological situation, the Goop crew wrote beneath Gwenyth, "gemini szn," a nod to the new twins season that kicked off late last month. Beneath her former BF — who began dating J.Lo (the first time around) shortly after he and Gwyneth split in 2000, the Goopers wrote, "mercury in retrograde." And yes, Gwyneth saw the post. "Oh my god you guys," she wrote in the comments. Gwyneth and Ben dated on and on from 1997 until 2000. Ben moved on with Jennifer soon thereafter and eventually popped the question before "Bennifer" called off their engagement in 2004. Taylor Swift is headed back to the big screen for the first time since her Bombalurina performance in 2019's star-stuffed flop, "Cats." Following a tip from the Instagram gossip account DeuxMoi, both The Hollywood Reporter and Collider have confirmed Taylor joins the A-lister-heavy cast of a new film from "Joy" director, David O. Russell, who reportedly wrote the screenplay in addition to directing the project. Starring Margot Robbie, Christian Bale and John David Washington, the film's heavy-hitting cast also includes Rami Malek, Zoe Saldana, Anya Taylor-Joy, Chris Rock, Mike Myers, Robert De Niro, Michael Shannon and Timothy Olyphant, according to THR. As of June 2, few other details were available, although "an individual close to the project" reportedly told Collider the movie "may be called 'Canterbury Glass,'" is set in the Depression and has "already completed production." Despite the all-around terrible reviews "Cats" received, it's worth noting Taylor's song from the film, "Beautiful Ghosts," earned both Grammy and Golden Globe nominations, which makes us suspect her role in the new film involves music.

Niecy Nash celebrates her first Pride Month since coming out with a sweet request for her wife
Niecy Nash didn't come out as gay until she announced she'd married musician Jessica Betts last summer, so she's understandably excited to celebrate Pride this June. She made that point crystal clear in a handful of social media posts this week, including a TikTok video that showed her giving Jessica a big squeeze as she wished "the greatest love of my life a happy Pride Month," per ET. Jessica tweeted out part of the clip, too, and pointed out Niecy was "crying tears of joy because she's so happy" in the caption. Finally, on June 2, Niecy posted a solo pic on her Instagram. She's wearing a sexy, crocheted rainbow bikini top and skirt and sauntering past what looks like a pool with a huge smile on her face. "Stepping into my first #pridemonth like…❤️🧡💛💚💙," she captioned the shot. "I'm accepting invitations, gifts, & welcome packets! Anna Faris shares the marriage advice she wants to give her son
He's only 8, but Anna Faris hopes her son, Jack, avoids following in his mother's footsteps and marrying young. Speaking to author and activist Glennon Doyle on her "Anna Faris Is Unqualified" podcast, Anna, 44, considered the marital advice she might someday give Jack, who she shares with ex-husband Chris Pratt. "I don't know if it's too grumpy and cruel to say in a sense," Anna admitted, "but if I could tell my 8-year-old son one thing that maybe he would stick to, I would really encourage him to not get married in his 20s." Anna first said "I do" to actor Ben Indra in 2004. She was 27 at the time and four years later, they called it quits. She married Jack's dad Chris in 2009. The couple went on to welcome Jack in 2012 before announcing their separation in 2017. Looking back on the marriages in a previous edition of her podcast, Anna said she thought there were some issues around "competitiveness" that were sparked by being married to people who were actors, like her. Today, Anna's moving in a different direction with her chosen partner. She's engaged to cinematographer Michael Barrett, while Chris is married to Katherine Schwarzenegger. As for Glennon's take on getting married before 30? The writer also tied the knot in her 20s, and responded to Anna by joking, "It should be illegal."
Diddy announces new digital marketplace to support Black entrepreneurs
Back in April, Diddy called on General Motors and the rest of corporate America to do a better job of investing in Black entrepreneurs and their businesses in an open letter on Revolt titled, "If You Love Us, Pay Us." Now, the Bad Boy founder's taking the lead on a project he hopes will encourage everyday, online shoppers to pay those same entrepreneurs in a more direct way for their services. This week, Diddy announced he's launching Shop Circulate, a "curated digital marketplace" where Black business owners can promote and sell products ranging from beauty and fashion to health and wellness to art and home, according to a PR Newswire release. "Building Black wealth starts with investing in Black-owned businesses and giving entrepreneurs access to the consumers needed to build sustainable companies that can thrive," Diddy said in the announcement. "I'm excited to partner with Salesforce to create a platform that will advance our collective pursuit of economic justice." His team added that Shop Circulate has also acquired The Nile List, a popular digital community that touts itself as a "one-stop shop for Black-owned shopping online." The Shop Circulate platform is expected to launch later this year. The announcement was timed to coincide with the 100th anniversary of the deadly Tulsa Race Massacre, in which a white mob attacked and decimated Tulsa's Greenwood neighborhood, then the country's wealthiest, predominantly Black community.
Will Ellie Kemper be Hollywood's next 'canceled' star?
Social media users have already spent much of the week arguing about Ellie Kemper's future — or potential cancelation — in Hollywood. That's thanks to newly resurfaced photos that show the "Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt" star was named the "Queen of Love and Beauty" at a St. Louis debutante event called the "Veiled Prophet Ball" in 1999. The organization's been called racist over the years, with The Atlantic drawing comparisons between its members and those involved in the Ku Klux Klan. Rolling Stone, via Fox News, meanwhile, has reported that the St. Louis ball came "several decades" before the KKK. As of June 2, Ellie and her reps had not commented on the controversy, although a spokesperson for the organization behind the ball denied accusations of racism in a statement to Fox. "Our organization believes in and promotes inclusion, diversity and equity for the entire region. We absolutely reject racism and have never associated with any organization that harbors these beliefs," the group said, in part. Judging from Twitter posts about Ellie, the denial hasn't helped dissuade negative opinions or calls that she be "canceled." "Ellie Kemper was brought up in a wealthy family apart of an elite society. She was attending Princeton University at the time she has crowned KKK princess at 19. I'm 100% sure she was well aware of the history of the Veiled Prophet Ball," wrote one user. As others urged people to "stop #twittershaming" and get all the facts first, detractors continued to condemn the actress.
GoFundMe removes Jen Shah's $2.5M campaign for help with legal costs ahead of fraud trial
As "The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City" star Jen Shah awaits her October fraud trial, the crowdfunding site GoFundMe has made it clear she can't use their platform to raise money for her legal costs. According to Page Six, GoFundMe recently took down a campaign page created by Jen's cousin, Danny Filipe, after users complained. "We are asking 10,000 caring souls to donate $2.5 million," Danny wrote on the page, which was reportedly removed within 24 hours of its posting. "Jen is facing decades incarcerated in prison separated from her family if she's [unable] to mount a competent and well thought out the defense," Danny continued. "In seven weeks, Jen and her family have spent over $138,000 in legal fees and costs. My family is asking for your help for Jen and the Shah family." In place of the plea, a statement from GoFundMe read, in part, "… the fundraiser violates our Terms of Service. The fundraiser has been removed from the platform," according to Page Six, which notes the site makes it clear in its "Prohibited Conduct terms" that campaigns to support "the legal defense of alleged crimes associated with … financial crimes or crimes of deception" are not allowed. Jen and her assistant Stuart Smith were arrested March 30 for their alleged roles in a multi-state telemarketing fraud scheme that prosecutors have said targeted the elderly and others over the course of nine years. Jen pleaded not guilty to charges of wire fraud and money laundering in April and is currently out on bond. Her $2.5 million GoFundMe reportedly raised $225 before it was removed.
'Christina on the Coast' star Christina Haack explains why she's not dating
After a tumultuous year, HGTV's Christina Haack is prioritizing the three kids she shares with exes Ant Anstead and Tarek El Moussa and her shows, "Flip or Flop" and "Christina on the Coast," which returns for a new season June 3. In the fall of 2020, as the coronavirus pandemic raged on, the designer, then known by her married name Christina Anstead, filed for divorce from Ant after two years of marriage. (She later took back her maiden name.) Now, with a toddler, a 10-year-old and a 5-year-old at home and two shows to shoot and promote, she says romance isn't high up on her to-do list. "I believe that everyone deserves to have love and find love and I hope that happens for me. But it would take a really special someone and my goal right now is just to focus on my kids and keeping my private life, as private as it can possibly be," Christina told E! News this week. "I mean, balancing is something that everyone struggles with — so do I," she added. "I just try to do the best I can. When I get off work, I don't have a nanny for Taylor and Brayden, so I just try to make sure that I'm there to pick them up and take them to sports and spend time with the three kids and put my phone down." Once a prolific Instagram user, Christina says reigning in her social media use became important as she realized it was "a big distraction" from real life. "When I get home, I make sure my focus is on them and when I'm at work, my focus is work," she adds.
