Fashionable royal mommy-to-be Princess Diana is seen here while pregnant with Prince William in 1982 alongside friend (and future duchess) Sarah Ferguson. The princess was fond of loose, flowing maternity styles, like this teal-and-white polka-dot muumuu with a playful bow neckline. Diana also wasn't afraid to repeat a look. She wore this same dress in June 1982 when she and Prince Charles introduced their new son to the world on the steps of St. Mary's Hospital in London.

Instead of long and loose, however, Kate went with the fitted shift dress and proudly displayed her post-baby bump.
