A$AP Rocky talks fatherhood after welcoming first child with Rihanna
A$AP Rocky is giving the world a glimpse at how he and Rihanna hope to raise their first child together. Speaking to Dazed.com shortly before their baby arrived earlier this month, the rapper reflected on how his friendship with Rihanna became a romance — "I like to think that the stars were aligned," he said — and what his vision of fatherhood looks like. "I will always remind my children to never lose their imagination, even as adults, no matter what," he explained, adding that he still loves to watch cartoons like "Blues Clues." "I hope to raise open-minded children. Not people who discriminate. And I'm not trying to describe a saint, but realistically, I just want a cool child with cool parents," Rocky continued. "Things like diversity and versatility are important, and they'll be embedded in the household." The couple, who reportedly started dating in 2020, have not yet revealed the name of their little boy.

Camila Cabello slams soccer fans for drowning out her performance
Camila Cabello sparked backlash among some soccer fans over the weekend when she complained on Twitter that fans were yelling over her performance at The Champions League final between Liverpool and Real Madrid in Paris. Meanwhile, the scene outside the Stade de France was erupting into chaos as police hit fans who'd lined up for hours with pepper spray and tear gas, according to ESPN. "Playing back our performance and I can't believe people were singing their teams anthem so loud during our performance," the pop singer wrote in a since-deleted tweet on Saturday, May 29. "Like my team and i worked tirelessly for so long to bring right vibes and give a good show. Very rude but whatever. IM GLAD U GUYS LOVED IT!!!!!" According to social media footage spotted by ESPN, Liverpool fans appeared to have been blocked from accessing the stadium in large numbers, while Real Madrid's fan section was almost full before the game began. While some of Camila's fans commiserated with the singer following her tweets, others took issue with her performance and her attitude towards the response. "Don't get offended that we don't care that you sang, we are not your fans, we are fútbol fans. This ain't the Super Bowl, this is the champions league," one person wrote, according to Yahoo. "Thanks for the effort and no disrespect but the fans are against shows before the biggest game of the season. It's not America period. Nothing personal but we prefer the anthem to any artist any day," said another. If Camila was aware of the police/fan dustup outside the stadium, she seems not to have mentioned it. Though she deleted the negative posts about the nearly 6-minute performance, she also tweeted out her thanks to the Champions League for having her and said the show was "something I will never forget." "I grew up watching soccer with my family and the energy in there was SO ELECTRIC I had so much fun watching afterwards too," Camila continued. "Thank you so much to my team and the dancers and musicians and creatives that worked so hard on this show !!!" Real Madrid beat Liverpool 1-0.

'Top Gun: Maverick' producer Jerry Bruckheimer reflects on 'emotional' day of filming with Val Kilmer
Despite the speech limitations Val Kilmer experienced as a result of his battle with throat cancer in 2015, the actor's "Top Gun" co-star Tom Cruise "said he wasn't going to make" a sequel without him. That's according to "Top Gun: Maverick" producer Jerry Bruckheimer, who recently opened up to People about the moving experience of getting Val on the set of the new film to reprise his role as Iceman, the nemesis to Tom's Maverick character. "We called Val and told him we wanted to meet him to be in the picture. And he was thrilled," Jerry recalled at the San Diego premiere. "Tom [Cruise] said he wasn't going to make the movie without him. So the fact that he was able to do it and he worked with us on the script, to have him there and be a part of it was a really emotional day when we filmed him. Because you want to see those two on the screen again, Iceman and Maverick going at it." Writer Christopher McQuarrie added that his goal was "to capture a 36-year friendship that you only saw for [a short time] at the end of the film." He also acknowledged the "responsibility" he and Jerry felt in how they represented Iceman and Maverick's relationship, decades after they'd sparred while training as pilots. "It was something we took really seriously," Christopher said. "We never wanted this to be… It wasn't a cash grab. We had to make a movie that was worthy of the original. And then seeing Val there and seeing Tom together, I'm very excited for [audiences] to see that scene." So far, movie-goers appear to be equally excited. "Top Gun: Maverick" hit theaters on May 27 and promptly landed the biggest Memorial Day weekend debut in box office history with $156 million in ticket sales in its first four days of release.
Johnny Depp surprises Jeff Beck's audience in England ahead of defamation trial verdict
Johnny Depp made a beeline for England over the weekend as he awaits a verdict in his $50 million defamation trial against his ex-wife, Amber Heard. Social media videos on Sunday, May 29, showed the "Pirates of the Caribbean" star surprising the audience at a Jeff Beck concert in Sheffield when he stepped out onstage to accompany the guitarist on a few tunes, including John Lennon's "Isolation," which Johnny and Jeff recorded in 2020. According to Deadline, the guitarists also performed covers of "What's Going On" by Marvin Gay and Jimi Hendrix's "Little Wing." Johnny filed suit against Amber over a 2018 op-ed the actress wrote for The Washington Post in which she described her experience as a survivor of domestic abuse. Though she didn't name an alleged abuser, Johnny claims he's implied, given their past relationship. He's denied all claims of abuse and maintains Amber assaulted him. The jury is expected to resume deliberations on Tuesday.

I know that it is a simple steps program, and those steps are not easy to take at times," Wynonna continued, saying she's "made a commitment to keep doing the 'next right thing,' and schedule weekly appointments so that I continue with the ongoing work, even when I have good days." Matthew Morrison announces departure from 'SYTYCD' after failing to comply with 'production protocols'
"Glee" alum Matthew Morrison has left his post as a judge on Season 17 of "So You Think You Can Dance." On Friday, May 28, he announced he failed to "follow competition production protocols," though it's unclear what protocols he was referring to. "Having the opportunity to be a judge on 'So You Think You Can Dance' was an incredible honor for me," Matthew said in a statement published by Variety. "Therefore, it is my deepest regret to inform you that I will be leaving the show. After filming the audition rounds for the show and completing the selection of the 12 finalists, I did not follow competition production protocols, preventing me from being able to judge the competition fairly," he continued.
