Lady Gaga returns Taylor Kinney's ring
When Lady Gaga announced she and fiance Taylor Kinney had called off their engagement, she left the door open for a reconciliation, telling followers on Instagram the two remained "soulmates" who were "taking a break." That break appears to be permanent. According to InTouchWeekly, Gaga is no longer holding onto the ring Taylor put on her finger when he proposed. "She gave Taylor back her heart-shaped engagement ring shortly after the holidays" a source tells InTouch (via the Daily Mail). "They had been spending time together late last year … Taylor just wouldn't commit to getting engaged again." She has since started dating CAA agent Christian Carino, who joined her at the Super Bowl and was spotted giving her plenty of love at Interscope's party after the Grammys. As for the ring, the source said, "She was incredibly sad to give the ring back, but it was the closure she needed."

Gwen Stefani reveals her near 'deal-breaker' about Blake
Love is still very much in the air for Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton — but there was a moment in the fall when Gwen worried Blake was not going to work out. The couple had gone to Disneyland, she explained to Jimmy Fallon on "The Tonight Show" this week, when she discovered her man was a little sheltered. "He'd never been to Disneyland! I was like, 'Your life is not even complete yet. Like, what are you doing?" she marveled (via E! News). "I was nervous — because for me, obviously, I go anywhere. Like, I know I'm going to get hounded for pictures or whatever, but I don't mind. For him, he's not used to that. Like I said, he's in the woods most of the time. But we went and it was crazy. It was like a billion people there." The crowds weren't necessarily Gwen's problem, though. "Did he do Space Mountain?" Jimmy asked. "He won't do the roller coasters," she said seriously. "That was almost a deal breaker for me." The other problem is that Blake is 6'5″. "He doesn't fit in anything," she said. "We did go on Matterhorn. He did that one, but he barely fit inside the little thing his knees were up like this." To be fair, if he doesn't fit in the rides, maybe roller coasters aren't the right ones to hang out of!

Kim Kardashian praises Kanye West after Yeezy 5 Fashion Week show
No models passed out and there were no post-show gripes about a late start at Kanye West's Yeezy 5 show at New York Fashion Week on Wednesday, Feb. 15, making it a major improvement over last year's show from the start. The show itself got solid reviews, with critics at New York Magazine observing that the 15-minute long Adidas collaboration "felt more sedate and less circus-like than previous outings." The designer's wife gave her man bigger praise, tweeting, "So proud of my baby for his amazing show today! It was so good! I'm so So proud of him!!! #yeezyseason5" after the event at Pier 59 Studios, which Us Weekly described as "top-secret" and "ultra exclusive." Yeezus managed to avoid leaks ahead of time by having models' phones taken away from them during rehearsals and the show; guests — including Kylie Jenner, Tyga, Hailey Baldwin, La La Anthony, Zoe Kravitz and Anna Wintour were also asked not to use their phones during the show, according to the New York Post. The tab reported Kanye also limited press attendance, focusing more on fashion industry buyers. Although Kendall Jenner wasn't able to join her family for the event — she was walking in Anna Sui that day — she showed her support by stopping by to deliver bags of fries, burgers and Chicken McNuggets from McDonald's with her friend Bella Hadid.

Cee Lo Green's Grammy look represents a new persona
The bananas gold outfit that covered Cee Lo Green head-to-toe at the Grammy Awards over the weekend was apparently the first stage of a new project. An insider tells the New York Post Cee Lo is working on a character to accompany the new material he's developing. "It's part of his transformation from Cee Lo Green to Gnarly Davidson. He got the idea to have another personality for a specific kind of music he's doing, so that's why he transformed himself," the source explained. "[His new music] is pop music, a lot of it, edgy pop music like his song, 'F–- me, I'm Famous,' 'Motörhead,' a lot of edgy stuff coming out." The new personality was also involved in in a video from last year where a phone appeared to explode in the singer's hand. "He was hatching Gnarly Davidson and turning into a superpower. Gnarly is a prankster, a grown up Dennis the Menace, who doesn't talk," said the source, adding that Gnarly Davidson will not take over for the Cee Lo the world already knows. "[That] Cee Lo will have projects in the future," the insider said. "He's recuperating. It's like how the Hulk goes from normal and back to the Hulk." Mmkay.
Christie Brinkley and David Foster dating rumors were just that
What appeared to have been a pair of dates for Christie Brinkley and David Foster was just a pair of pals enjoying a good time in New York. That's the latest from the New York Post, which reported last year that Christie and David had indulged in two romantic evenings after meeting at Ronald Perelman's Apollo Theater benefit. "[Brinkley and Foster] are not a couple," a Brinkley source tells the Post. "They sporadically keep in touch. They are friends."
Lena Dunham weighs in on Taylor Swift's election silence
Not all of Lena Dunham's famous friends have been vocal about Donald Trump's ascension to the White House. Taylor Swift has actually been criticized for not speaking out more about the election or the results, given her open support of women's unity and equal rights. Speaking to Rolling Stone, Lena explained why she has no problem with Taylor staying quiet about the issue. "I just think everyone has to do it their way," Lena said (via UsWeekly). "When I was lesser known, I was like, 'Who could not share their opinion?' Then I found out that when you talk about politics, people straight up tweet you the floor plan of your house and say they're coming to your house. You have to f—ing watch it because people are nuts." The "Girls" creator also suggested Taylor knows what she's doing when it comes to speaking out or holding her tongue. "She's been in the public eye since she was 15," Lena said. "I felt young when my career started and I was 23, 24. When I met her, she was newly 22, and she was a f—ing seasoned pro at this stuff. Watching the way that she understands the vicissitudes of the cycle, and she just keeps making her work – that's just really impressive to me."
