Olivia Rodrigo's Biden shoe horn was actually an ice cream scoop
Earlier this week, Olivia Rodrigo told late night host Jimmy Kimmel that President Joe Biden gave her some "strange" gifts when she visited the White House this past summer. Turns out one item — what she described as an engraved shoe horn — wasn't quite as odd as she thought. In a post on Instagram made after her "Jimmy Kimmel Live" appearance, the 18-year-old "Drivers License" singer gushed, "thank u for having me @jimmykimmellive !!!" She then sent a sarcastic shout-out to her mother for incorrectly identifying the gift. "Also thank u to my mom who told me this president biden ice cream scoop was a shoe horn and let me repeat it on national television lolllll," Olivia wrote.

Bella Hadid posts 'work on yourself' amid Zayn Malik, Gigi Hadid split drama
On Oct. 28, amid reports of an altercation between Zayn Malik and Gigi Hadid's mother, Yolanda Hadid, and news Gigi and Zayn have split, Gigi's sister, Bella Hadid, posted a relationship quote on her Instagram Stories. "I can do nothing for you but work on myself. You can do nothing for me but work on yourself," the quote read, according to Us Weekly. Bella later deleted the post, but the Daily Mail reports she and her brother, Anwar Hadid, have both unfollowed Zayn on social media. Zayn's sister seemingly referenced the family drama as well, when she shared a post that read, "Karma comes after everyone eventually." The apparent social media reactions came on the heels of TMZ's claim Zayn "struck" Yolanda during an argument. Zayn has since denied the allegations and asked fans to give the family some privacy for "healing" purposes. A rep for Gigi told People in a statement, "Gigi is solely focused on the best for Khai," the daughter she shares with Zayn, and "asks for privacy during this time." On Oct. 29, NBC News cited court documents showing Zayn pleaded no contest to "harassing" Gigi and Yolanda during the altercation at the former couple's home in Pennsylvania on Sept. 29. The outlet reports Zayn was fined and placed on 360 days of probation. He'll also need to take an anger management course, be screened for a domestic violence supervision program and refrain from contacting Yolanda and a man who was involved in the argument, who's believed to be a bodyguard.

Kris Jenner jokes Kravis PDA makes her want to 'hide'
If the steady stream of mouthy, handsy, smoochy photos of Kourtney Kardashian and Travis Barker over the past few months has made you feel a little … weird, you're not alone. Even Kourtney Kardashian's mom, Kris Jenner, finds Kravis' uber-PDA habits make her feel kinda funny. "Well, you feel like you're, you know, they're the only two people in the room, and we almost don't know what to do with ourselves," the 65-year-old momager told Ellen Degeneres of her family's response to the love fest on Oct. 29, per Page Six. "Like, I'm looking for a closet to hide in and somewhere to go, so …" While the over-the-top public sexy time is unsettling for some members of Kourtney's famous family, Kris can't help but get into the spirit of their love now that the two are engaged. "But they're, you know, they're in that stage, and it's really, really special, and I'm so excited. He was really cute," she said, adding that she thinks Kourt and the Blink-182 drummer are "really made for each other" and "the cutest couple." Travis popped the question to Kourtney earlier this month after about a year of dating on the beach in Montecito, California, amid piles of red roses.
Khloe Kardashian and True test positive for COVID-19 again
Khloé Kardashian announced on Oct. 29 that she's contracted a breakthrough case of COVID-19. She told Twitter followers her 3-year-old daughter, True Thompson, also seems to have the illness. "Hi guys I wanted to let you know True and I tested positive for Covid. I've had to cancel several commitments and I'm sorry I won't be able to make those happen," Khloé shared early in the day. "Luckily I've been vaccinated so all will be OK," she added. "We will be over here in quarantine and following current guidelines." The "KUWTK" alum is no stranger to COVID-19, having gotten sick the first time in March 2020. Unlike that bout, which included a scary fever, fatigue and major stomach issues, Khloé's very unlikely to develop severe symptoms now that she's gotten the jab. While breakthrough infections of vaccinated people have been more common due to the delta variant, studies conducted in 2021 have shown the odds of fully vaccinated people developing severe symptoms requiring hospitalization remain exceedingly rare. "Be safe," Khloé added in a second tweet.

'RHONY' reunion nixed due to Ramona Singer racism allegations: Report
Season 13's "Real Housewives of New York City" never had a reunion special because Bravo and the show were investigating claims of a racially offensive comment Ramona Singer allegedly made. According to TMZ, Ramona's cast mate Eboni K. Williams "filed a formal complaint" a few weeks before the reunion was set to happen. The outlet hasn't detailed what Ramona allegedly said, but sources reportedly told TMZ a crew member filed a similar complaint about Ramona before Eboni did. According to multiple TMZ sources, Bravo repeatedly delayed the filming date for the reunion as the investigation continued. Following interviews with members of the show's cast and crew, Ramona was reportedly let off the hook. By that point, though, the network thought it was too far past the season finale to bother with a reunion.
Beyonce sends Katie Couric flowers in support of her book release
Katie Couric's memoir, "Going There," may have stirred up some old drama for the veteran journalist's former colleagues, but Katie has plenty of support from the queen. On Oct. 28, Katie shared an Instagram photo of herself being dwarfed by the giant bouquet of white roses, lilies and more she received from Beyoncé in honor of her daring book's official release this week. "WOW thank you so much @beyonce for these GORGEOUS flowers! I've had the pleasure of knowing Beyoncé for years now, ever since I interviewed Destiny's Child back in the 90's," Katie captioned the shot. "She is a dream and has always been so supportive, especially of my colon cancer work. Thank you B. Sending love back your way always. 🤍⭐️😘." Among other things, "Going There" features Katie's reflections on her time at "Today," including her relationship with onetime friend, Matt Lauer, before, during and after his sexual misconduct scandal. In an appearance on her former morning show last week, however, she said she wrote it in large part to "kind of make [my late husband] Jay come alive for [our daughters] Ellie and Carrie. Jay died of cancer in 1998 when he was just 42.
Quvenzhane Wallis made Oscars history at 9; she remembers the snacks
Quvenzhané Wallis is back! It's been almost a decade since the actress, now 18, became the youngest person ever nominated for a Best Actress Academy Award for her gripping performance in "Beasts of the Southern Wild." But despite Hollywood's enthusiasm about her acting — not to mention, the adorable stuffed animal purses she carried on red carpets throughout the 2013 awards season at age 9 — Quvenzhané, who plays a rising star basketball player in the new Apple TV+ series "Swagger," says she hasn't thought much about the Oscars since then. "I spent a lot of time just living and being young in between 'Annie' and 'Swagger,'" she tells People. "So, when I got 'Swagger' and began doing press, I'd keep seeing 'Oscar nominee,' and I'm like, 'Gosh!' I got a nice reminder of who I was because it's like, 'Oh. I did that.'" There is one thing she recalls about the 2013 Oscars though. "It was like, 'What? They have popcorn and jelly beans here!' It was a crazy moment for me," she says with a laugh. "That small little thing was just mind-blowing, especially being that young. Give me all of them! It was great."
Madonna shares surprising praise for Kanye West's 'Donda'
Madonna stands behind Kanye West and his new album "Donda," in spite of his political leanings and his inclusion of DaBaby's vocals after the rapper's misinformation-filled, homophobic rant at Miami's 2021 Rolling Loud festival. Speaking to playwright Jeremy O. Harris for the new cover of V magazine, Madge explained why "Donda" holds a special place in her heart. "I mean, the only thing that I've heard recently that has inspired me is Kanye's record 'Donda,'" she said. "I can't say that I agree with all of his politics and the way that he thinks of women, or unmarried people having sex, or the gay community. But his work is on the razor's edge, and it's inspiring and it's rare. Everybody was waiting so long for his record to come out and then finally when it came out, everybody else's record came out, too. And he still stood out." Madonna, an icon in the LGBTQ+ community who issued a condemnation of DaBaby's rant over the summer, said she feels "conflicted" about embracing 'Ye's album because of DaBaby, but explained she thinks it's important to "listen to the teachings" but "don't get caught up in … what the teacher's doing."
