Jennifer Love Hewitt and husband Brian Hallisay are preparing to welcome baby No. 3. Jennifer shared the news, which she said was a surprise, with People this week, recalling that her 5-year-old son, Atticus, spotted a pregnancy test ad while they were watching TV and said "out of nowhere" that she should get one "in case there's a baby in your belly." Her first reaction was not positive. "I was like, 'How rude! I just ate a big dinner. What is he talking about?' It stuck with me, and they've been asking off and on for a year or so for a sibling. We weren't closed off to the idea, it just wasn't something that we were actively thinking about." As it turned out, there was indeed a baby on the way. Jennifer and Brian, both 42, are also parents to a little girl, 7-year-old Autumn.

Intact acting career? Check. Wedding plans? Eye roll. Pandemic-mandated sourdough baking? That would be a definitive and (oh-so relatable) nope. For months, Emma Watson's refrained from chiming in on rumors that she's no longer acting and is now focused on her alleged engagement to Leo Robinton. Her manager tried to quell some of the gossip back in February, telling EW Emma's "social media accounts are dormant but her career isn't." Now, Emma's addressing the chatter herself. "Dear Fans, Rumours about whether I'm engaged or not, or whether my career is 'dormant or not' are ways to create clicks each time they are revealed to be true or untrue. … If I have news — I promise I'll share it with you," she wrote in a series of tweets on May 17. "In the meantime please assume no news from me just means I'm quietly spending the pandemic the way most people are — failing to make sourdough bread (!), caring for my loved ones and doing my best not to spread a virus that is still affecting so many people." Capping off one of the most gracious rumor fixes we've seen, Emma added, "I am sending so much love to you, hoping you're ok and as well and happy as you can be in these strange times. And again, thank you to everyone working so hard to keep us safe and well."

Kim Kardashian West mulls how to 'explain' that marriage to Kris Humphries' to her four kids
As "Keeping Up With the Kardashians" nears its grand finale, there's likely to be some renewed interest in the long-running show's early years. But as Kim Kardashian West explains in a new teaser for the next episode (via ET), she's not sure she's ready to delve into some aspects of her life from those early days with her four children. The clip shows Scott Disick asking Kim if North West, 7, has seen much of that content. Kim says North has seen "clips on TikTok … pretty much all my crying scenes." And while North likes to tease her mom "as a joke" about the crying, Kim tells Scott, "I don't really want to explain, like, who Kris Humphries is," even when North gets a little older. Kris, of course, is the now ex-husband Kim married back in 2011 in front of the cameras after no small amount of buildup and hype. "But that is your life," Scott points out. "That is your past and at some point they're gonna be interested in seeing everything." Kim tells him she'd rather North, Saint, Chicago and Psalm see the episodes with her. "I'd rather be that parent. But, I'm just not ready for the kids to see it yet." Later, Kim tells the camera she's "hesitant … I think just because, I just think, me personally, will have to explain a lot." Part of the explanation would be that 72 days after she and Kris tied the knot, Kim filed for divorce. She's said since then that the marriage to Kris came out of her anxiety about being 30 and seeing her girlfriends start to settle down and have kids. In 2014, Kim went on to marry Kanye West, with whom she now shares all four little ones. She filed for divorce from Kanye in February.

Emma Stone remembers exactly one thing about winning her first Oscar back in 2017 — and it's the fact that "Titanic" heartthrob Jack Dawson was standing up onstage at the Academy Awards waiting to hand it to her. The "Cruella" star recently sat down with Jess Cagle for his SiriusXM Radio show, where he asked Emma, now 32, about her memory of the Best Actress win, which she earned for her performance in "La La Land." "Leonardo DiCaprio," she replied, seemingly without a second thought (via E! News). "That was what was going through my mind 'cause it was him," she said. "And I was like … I'd seen 'Titanic' seven and a half times in theaters. He was the love of my life. I had a picture of him in my bedroom that was signed, that I had gotten for my birthday when I was like 12 years old and I was walking to Leo. I was like, this is officially the most surreal moment of my life. I could not believe it." She accepted the Oscar, of course, as well as a sweet kiss on the cheek from Leo (gasp). And after a few photos backstage, they both went on their way … sort of. Emma, who recently welcomed her first child, a girl, with partner Dave McCary, also admitted to Jess that she's not the smoothest talker when she runs into Leo in Hollywood. "I think he probably thinks I'm like a little weird," she said, "'cause whenever I see him, I'm kind of like, 'Hey, how's it going?' You know, just in little moments when you're at the same event or something. He's very sweet though." After noting that Leo's also "very tall" and "so lovely," she acknowledged she can't get him off the pedestal he's occupied for her since she was a little girl watching "Titanic." "It doesn't really seem fair because then it's like putting someone in a place that like no human beings should really be in that kind of place. That's silly — like nobody's any different than anybody," she said. And yet … "He's stuck in my head as Jack Dawson. He just always will be."
Lil Jon gets his own home renovation show
"Lil Jon Wants To Do What?" That's the name of a forthcoming HGTV home renovation show starring the Atlanta-based "Turn Up For What" rapper, Page Six reports. The series reportedly features Lil Jon "[offering] skeptical homeowners startlingly unconventional renovation ideas that seem impossible to execute." Think: tearing out an entire basement and replacing it with "a fully decked-out speakeasy," as any truly crunk crib deserves. "I love walking into someone's house and turning it upside down," Lil Jon said in a statement. "When people hear my name, they automatically think … fun! That same energy goes for my designs as well. I don't love following design trends — I would rather be the trendsetter." The rapper's currently filming in the Atlanta area, according to Page Six; his show's slated to hit HGTV this summer. (Can we get a "Yeah!"?)
Chris Cornell's widow, daughter share moving tributes on the anniversary of his death
Chris Cornell's widow and teenage daughter honored the Soundgarden and Audioslave alum on May 18, the four-year anniversary of his death. Vicky Cornell, 42, shared a close-up, black and white photo of the couple embracing and sharing a kiss. "I miss you 🖤," she captioned the sweet shot on Instagram. When Chris and Vicky's daughter, Toni, 16, commented on the post by telling her mom, "I love you both so much ❤️❤️," Vicky promptly replied, assuring Toni, "we love you most – always always always …. nothing changes that my sweet baby." Toni also shared a photo of her own on her page, a snap of her dad holding her as a toddler. She kept the caption simple — a series of three black heart emojis. Vicky, Toni and other loved ones have spoken openly about the depression and alcoholism Chris battled for much of his short life before he ended it at age 52.
Ellen DeGeneres roasted for workplace scandal, show ending at MTV Movie & TV Awards: Unscripted
Ouch. The "toxic workplace" scandal that hit Ellen DeGeneres last year became fodder for some not-so-friendly ribbing at the MTV Movie & TV Awards: Unscripted event on May 17. As the name suggests, the show honored — or in Ellen's case, dishonored — the year in unscripted television and reality TV. At one, point host Nikki Glaser announced it was time for an "in memoriam" segment. Instead of reflecting on the industry's recently deceased stars, however, Nikki announced she wanted "to take a somber-slash-awkward moment to acknowledge all that we've lost in the world of unscripted entertainment this year," according to Us Weekly. As a montage began to roll behind her, a photo of Ellen appeared. Beneath her face, a card was emblazoned with the words, "Ellen's reign of terror 2003-2021," presumably a reference to her recent announcement that "Ellen" will come to an end for good after the next season. Others who got lambasted in the segment included Teresa Giudice's deported ex, aka "Joe Giudice's passport, 1973 – 2019," and "Scott Disick dating age-appropriate women," which apparently ended in 2015 when he pivoted from Kourtney Kardashian to Sophie Richie and, more recently, Amelia Hamlin.
Nick Jonas explains mystery accident: 'I cracked a rib'
Nick Jonas arrived at "The Voice" on May 18 a little banged up — but "feeling OK" — after a bike accident. Amid reports he'd been hospitalized over the weekend due to an injury he sustained on the set of an unknown new project, the singer explained what happened before the Top Nine live performances. "I've been better, but I'm doing all right," he said, per People. "I cracked a rib from a spill on a bike and a few other bumps and bruises, but I just want to go ahead and say that, in case I'm not as physically enthusiastic as I usually am," Nick continued, before calling out Blake Shelton to jokingly beg him, "please don't make me laugh too much because it kind of hurts." He didn't give any further details.

News, that's just what Ariana Grande's husband, Dalton Gomez did before the couple's secret, private wedding in California over the weekend. Jeweler Jack Solow said Dalton contacted him about the band a few months after they worked together on the engagement ring, which features an oval-shaped diamond and a pearl, Ariana's birthstone. Jack and his team "worked with Dalton" on the band, a rep for the jeweler told the outlet. "It's a beautiful, tasteful platinum and diamond pave band," the rep added. Back in December, Jack said Dalton "had very strong feelings about how he wanted this to look," and said it "was his idea to do the diamond on an angle" and "to incorporate a pearl," as they're "very sentimentally special" to Ariana. The bride and groom reportedly tied the knot before a very small group of loved ones in the backyard of Ariana's new home in Montecito, which she bought last summer. "They decided to have the wedding this past weekend because their schedules are picking up and neither wanted to wait," a source told E!.
