Kendall Jenner went viral after the May 12, 2022, episode of "The Kardashians" showed her struggling to "chop up some cucumber" for a snack. Mom Kris Jenner initially offered up her chef's assistance, which the model declined: "It's pretty easy," she said, prompting an encouraging "You go, girl!" from the Kardashian family matriarch. Kris then warned her daughter to "be careful" as Kendall, who was 25 at the time, admitted she was "kind of scared" of accidentally hurting herself. She then put her fingers dangerously close to the knife's blade and wondered aloud if "cucumbers have seeds" (they do!) before confessing, "I definitely am not a good cutter, so don't zoom in on me. The entire exchange prompted questions about whether or not Kendall has ever prepared a meal for herself before.

During the 2022 Billboard Music Awards on May 15, Machine Gun Kelly sported a manicure that's worth more than a car. According to Vogue, Nails of LA collaborated with the fine jewelry line Marrow Fine to create the custom nail art, which featured 880 diamonds and is worth around $30K. Following the award show, the rocks will be repurposed for a collection of limited-edition rings, the proceeds from which will go to a charity in MGK's native Cleveland.

Who gets to ride in a firetruck? … I don't think anyone has ever done this before, ever," Kim Kardashian gushed of her ex's "very Kanye way" of handling carpool duties while touring the firetruck with the four kids they share. CEO Evan Spiegel, made a "significant donation" through their Spiegel Family Fund — the "largest single gift" in the school's history — to cover the repayment of outstanding student loan debt for every graduating member of the class of 2022. The Dole Plantation's Pineapple Garden Maze in Hawaii currently holds the record, which the lifestyle entrepreneur hopes to claim when she finishes planting her own maze comprised of different types of trees and shrubs in a three-acre paddock previously occupied by her horses. "I've planted four big rows so far," she said. "I took my horse on a ride through the maze. We got lost already, which is great. It's like dressage: You go in there and you have to make these sharp turns, and he actually liked it because it makes them think. So I can't wait to get the whole thing done. … But I have to find enough plant material. It's hard to find that many trees. I've already planted like 600 trees." …Geeze, Martha, leave some trees for the rest of us!

Kim Kardashian donned a gown worth an estimated $10M — the dress Marilyn Monroe famously wore when she sang "Happy birthday, Mr. President" to John F. The reality star borrowed the one-of-a-kind, Jean Louis-designed garment from the Ripley's Believe It or Not! museum in Florida, which won it at auction for $4.8M back in 2016. (The iconic quarterback has waffled on retiring several times in recent years.) After that figure got out, FOX released a statement insisting that "what has been reported isn't an accurate description of the deal." According to TMZ, former Disney CEO Michael Eisner, who's reportedly worth $1B, listed his Malibu estate in late April 2022 for $225M — $48M more than the current sales record in California. (A different Malibu estate sold for $177M back in 2021.) The five-acre property is home to nine buildings: a 25,000-square-foot main house plus several guest houses and a cabana on the bluff with a private elevator down to the beach.
