Chris Martin and Dakota Johnson took advantage of separate work commitments in London this week to spend some time doting on each other in a rare pair of appearances together. On Oct. 12, as Chris performed new music with Coldplay at Shepherd's Bush Empire, fans spotted Dakota, who was in town for the premiere of "The Lost Daughter," watching from a balcony. Chris spotted her, too — and serenaded her with a song she inspired. "This is about my universe, and she's here," Chris says, pointing up to Dakota, in a video captured by another concert goer. The camera pans to the actress just before she puts her hands up to her face, seemingly overwhelmed with emotion. As the clip continues, Chris starts singing "My Universe," Coldplay's new single featuring BTS, pointing at Dakota all the while. The next night, the couple was photographed holding hands in a rare mini-PDA moment at London's Claridges Hotel (pictured). Chris, 44, and Dakota, 32, were first linked romantically back in 2017. Despite a rumored — and brief — split, they've been together ever since. Chris' ex, Gwyneth Paltrow has said she "adores" Dakota. Between the Coldplay show serenade, Dakota's teary-eyed response and Coldplay's recently world tour announcement, we won't be surprised if there's a new sparkler adorning Dakota's finger in the very near future …

Halle Berry is makeup-free, sweaty and 'Bruised' (literally) in new role
Wait, Halle who?! An almost unrecognizable Halle Berry — makeup-free, unless you count what we assume is not a real black eye, and looking way more gritty than glam — stars in the first full trailer for her directorial debut, "Bruised." Due out next month on Netflix, the film tells the story of real-life mixed martial arts fighter Jackie Justice, a former MMA champion who decides to disrupt her hardscrabble life by staging a comeback. While Halle, 55, ditches her usual glow and forgoes makeup for the role, the trailer also gives us a peek at her insane abs and skills in the ring, which are actually the product of years of boxing training. As Halle explained in a 2020 essay for Women's Health, preparing for "Bruised" took her already chiseled figure to a whole new level. "I had to look (and perform) like a professional MMA fighter, so, in addition to practicing MMA for four hours every day, I was also doing about 45 minutes of general strength training and 15 minutes of work just on my abs," she wrote at the time. "We threw the kitchen sink at my core and, let me tell you, it took serious dedication." She adds that she stopped the intense abs regime after she was done shooting the film, but says she still likes to "sprinkle in" martial arts training to her weekly workouts.

Jonah Hill says 'it's not helpful' to see messages about his looks
Back in February, Jonah Hill wrote on social media about how years of body-shaming by the press affected him, telling followers, "I'm 37 and I finally love and accept myself.?" He went on to get a "body love" tattoo a few months later. Now, he's asking Instagram users for their help and support as he works to maintain his positive body image. "I know you mean well but I kindly ask that you not comment on my body good or bad," he shared on the platform on Oct. 13. "I want to politely let you know its not helpful and doesn't feel good. Much respect," he added. The post earned a wave of likes and supportive comments from fans and celebs including Aidy Bryant, who left a check mark emoji in the comments, and SZA, who wrote, "Absolutely Love you. Thank you!!" Olivia Munn and Beanie Feldstein also left sweet comments to let Jonah know he has their support. Sharon Stone, meanwhile, chimed in with, "Can i say you look good cuz u do?" Guess there's a learning curve for everything!

Megan Thee Stallion teams up with Popeye's on new 'Hottie Sauce'
Because real hot girls deserve real hot girl condiments on their fried chicken, Megan Thee Stallion and Popeye's are launching a new sauce named in honor of the "Hot Girl Summer" rapper. It's called Megan Thee Stallion Hottie Sauce (of course), and it makes its debut as an option on Popeye's viral fried chicken sandwich or as a dipping sauce on Oct. 19, according to Popsugar. A press release describes "Hottie sauce" as a blend of honey, cider vinegar and Aleppo pepper, with "a sweet, yet bold flavor with a hint of spice, inspired by Megan's sassy personality." The new partnership is also set to support a good cause — as part of their deal, the Louisiana-based fast food chain and Houston-raised rapper announced they'll make "a six-figure donation" to Houston Random Acts of Kindness, a charity that aims "to promote empathy and compassion while encouraging selfless concern for the welfare of others in the Houston community," according to the press release. Megan's also signing on as a new Popeye's franchise owner and planning a line of "Hottie Sauce" branded merch including T-shirts, tumblers, a bikini and more. "I'm appreciative of Popeyes commitment to empowering Black women and look forward to opening Popeyes restaurants," Megan said in a statement.
Howie Mandel is 'doing better' after collapsing outside Starbucks
Howie Mandel reported he was recovering at home and feeling "better" after collapsing outside of a Starbucks in Los Angeles on the morning of Oct. 13. In a post on Twitter later that night, Howie shared, "I am home and doing better. I was dehydrated and had low blood sugar. I appreciate the great doctors and nurses that took such good care of me. Thank you to everyone who reached out but I am doing ok!" According to TMZ, Howie had been getting coffee with his wife when he fainted. He was reportedly rushed to a nearby hospital after the Los Angeles Fire Department and paramedics arrived. Howie, 65, had appeared to be in good health when he stopped by "The Ellen DeGeneres Show" one day before the incident.

Prince William slams space tourism race, says saving Earth should come first
"Star Trek" fans may have been thrilled about William Shatner's recent flight into space on a vessel owned by tech billionaire Jeff Bezos. Prince William? Not so much. In a new interview with the BBC, The Duke of Cambridge says those involved in the current space tourism race have their priorities out of whack. "We need some of the world's greatest brains and minds fixed on trying to repair this planet and not trying to find the next place to go and live," he says. Though William doesn't point fingers at anyone in particular, the interview aired on Oct. 13, the same day the erstwhile Captain Kirk made history at age 90 as the oldest person to fly into space. Meanwhile, billionaires Richard Branson and Elon Musk have been hard at work on their own space tourism projects. "If we're not careful, we're robbing from our children's future, what we do now, and I think that's not fair," says William, who shares three children with Duchess Kate. "[It] really is quite crucial to be focusing on this [planet], rather than giving up and heading out into space to try and think of solutions for the future." William and Kate are currently working with the new Earthshot Prize, a program that will award five winners $1.37 million each to fund projects designed to fix the climate, revive the oceans, protect and restore nature, clean the air and build a waste-free world in the next decade.
Matt Damon, Ben Affleck were 'shocked' 'Good Will Hunting' was ever released
Lifelong besties Matt Damon and Ben Affleck return to the screen together on Oct. 15 in "The Last Duel," which they also co-wrote. The film marks the pair's first film writing collaboration in more than two decades, the last being their Academy Award-winning coming of age movie, "Good Will Hunting." As Matt and Ben explained to Jimmy Fallon on the Oct. 13 edition of "The Tonight Show," that long hiatus in working together was all about how, well, messy and drawn-out the process of writing "Good Will Hunting" turned out to be. "I mean, I think Good Will Hunting took us so long. We were, like, unemployed, broke guys. It took us forever to write that screenplay," Matt said, per People, adding that they "wrote thousands and thousands of pages." The whole experience "kind of put us off writing again, because we never thought we'd have the time," he continued. As Jimmy showed the audience photos of Matt and Ben at the premiere for "Good Will Hunting" all those years ago, Matt admitted they were both a bit "shocked" the movie was even released. Laughing at one of the throwback pics, Ben added, "You wouldn't imagine that those two idiots would still be around." This time around, however, Matt said their respective experience in the movie biz helped them develop more of a "structure" to their writing process — and noted that they made "the really good decision of getting a great writer," Nicole Holofcener, "to come join us."
Hoda Kotb reveals Sandra Bullock gave her adoption advice
When Hoda Kotb flew to meet the child she would end up adopting for the first time, she had a special friend with plenty of personal adoption experience sharing advice along the way. "On the way there, this sounds so weird, but Sandra Bullock was really helping with some guidance about like, 'Don't be scared,'" Hoda, 57, recalls on People's Me Becoming Mom podcast. "She was one of the people who I looked to, to realize that someone like me of the same age could do these things," Hoda explained. "She described [how] the most beautiful part of her life began when her kids entered it." Hoda ultimately did adopt two daughters, Hope, now 2, and Haley, 4. Her close friend Sandra adopted her son Louis in 2010, followed by Laila in 2015. AAt another point in the show, Hoda also opens up about how she talks to her girls about their adoption. "I tell them they were adopted, and I'm not sure if they 100 percent know what that means," she admits. "I always say, 'You didn't come from Mommy's tummy, you came from my heart.' And they understand that."
