Jennifer Aniston's new Instagram can't handle all the traffic
Move over, Kim Kardashian West. There's a new Internet-breaker in town. Jennifer Aniston announced Tuesday, Oct. 15, that she's now on Instagram. Unfortunately, users were a little too excited about the news. Jen's first post showed the star surrounded by her pals from "Friends" — Lisa Kudrow, Courteney Cox, Matthew Perry, David Schwimmer and Matt LeBlanc — and the caption, "And now we're Instagram FRIENDS too. HI INSTAGRAM 👋🏻." We only know this, however, because People managed to get a screenshot before the page went down, sending users to redirect links or telling them, "Sorry, this page isn't available." Twitter users quickly noticed the Insta-fail and began posting messages that ranged from "Jennifer Aniston joined Instagram and broke it. A QUEEN" to "Everyone in the ..rld is trying to follow Jennifer Aniston on Instagram at the moment and it won't let me….. #amsad." According to a rep from Instagram, however, the page was expected to be functional again soon as of Tuesday morning. "We are aware that some people are having issues following Jen's page — the volume of interest is incredible!" a spokesperson told the magazine of the 116,000-plus followers Jen got within the first hour of the post. "We are actively working on a solution and hope to have the page up and running smoothly again shortly." Courteney Cox took the IG plunge in 2019, too. She also shared a "Friends" reunion pic to let folks know.

Justin Bieber's 'make an offer' Instagram post attracts potential homebuyers
Justin Bieber may save himself a few grand by cutting out the middle man in the sale of his home. According to TMZ, the singer shared a photo of the inside of his house in Beverly Hills last week with what sounded like a half-serious post about putting it on the market that read, "I'll sell it with all the furniture. MAKE AN OFFER." Welp, it worked. TMZ's sources say at least five interested parties have reached out after spotting the post, which went out to Justin's 120 million followers, including one would-be buyer the website describes as a "billionaire from a very famous family." A Los Angeles realtor tells TMZ the home is likely not worth more than the $8.5 million Justin paid last year for the 6,132-square foot property. But offers are likely to start higher — possibly around $9 million — because of the property's celebrity owner. Justin and his wife, Hailey Bieber, are reportedly looking to buy a new place to settle down somewhere in Los Angeles.

Miley Cyrus and Cody Simpson are both 'sober and focused on health, work': Rep
The new relationship between Miley Cyrus and Cody Simpson isn't as new as it seems. It's also apparently based on a shared interest in sobriety and forward motion in their personal lives and careers. Cody's manager, Matt Zeidman, gave People a statement about the pair this week in which he said the two have been very close for some time. "It is early, but their friendship is long-standing and deeper than people realize," said Cody's rep. "Though they originally met during their own wilder phases, they're both sober now and are focused on health, work and spending time together. Seems pretty ideal to me." His comment is similar to Cody's take on the romance, which he credited last week with the fact that they "found each other again in a space where we're both not partying" and "working real hard."

Alicia Keys performs a moving homage to her late grandmother on 'Red Table Talk'
The latest edition of Jada Pinkett Smith's "Red Table Talk" deals with what we can learn from the elders in our family. Jada, who hosts the show with her mom, Adrienne Banfield-Jones, and daughter, Willow Smith, invited Alicia Keys to join the conversation for this week's episode, which aired on Facebook on Monday, Oct. 14. When conversation turned to the best advice Alicia had ever been given, she told the hosts it had come from her grandmother. "When she was dying, she lived with me and it was amazing because all my life she had taken care of me and she was so elegant and strong and fierce and sincere," Alica recalled, according to the Daily Mail . "I knew I wasn't going to have her much longer and I started thinking about mortality a lot." The advice ultimately led her to write the song, "Like You'll Never See Me Again," which she began playing on the piano that lives on the set of the show. As she sang lyrics like, "I don't wanna forget the present is a gift / And I don't wanna take for granted the time you may have here with me /'Cause Lord only knows another day is not really guaranteed," Jada and Adrienne's eyed began to mist up. "When I wrote this song, a lot of people thought it was about a love of a boyfriend or a man, but this was really about my love for her," Alicia said during a pause in the music. "She taught me to cherish the moments and she also taught me that if things weren't happening the way you thought they were supposed to happen, that was OK." Alicia also told Adrienne that she reminded her of her grandmother.
Victoria Beckham shares the secret to her 20-year marriage
Over the course of their 20-year marriage, Victoria Beckham and David Beckham have found themselves in dozens of headlines suggesting their relationship was coming to an end. But as Victoria told Hoda Kotb this week on "Today," the couple still feels like they're "growing together," in part because of how much they love their four children. "You know, I think that the kids are our priority, and everything we do revolves around the children," mused the designer (via E! News). "But we both work really hard. We love what we do professionally. We support each other and, you know, we're very lucky to have found each other and lucky that we're growing together." She added that they try to be "good communicators" and that when they met it was "love at first sight," which might make their bond even stronger. "Everything we do revolves around our family," she explained. "I think it's just been focused, working hard [and] having a great support team around us. Both of our parents are very, very present and help with the kids."
Olivia Wilde's daughter basically hazed her in the middle of the night
Olivia Wilde has a question for her 3-year-old daughter, Daisy Sudeikis: At one point did she go Greek? Last week, the actress shared a less-than-endearing story about Daisy, whom she shares with husband Jason Sudeikis, on social media. "Between 3 and 5 AM my daughter poured ice water on my pillow and then screamed at me for not knowing the plot of the movie Abominable," she posted. "Not sure when she joined a frat." While Olivia's clearly not feeling the ice water move, at least offered some of her friends and followers a bit of comedy gold. Replied Mindy Kaling: "Hahahahahhaa this is so funny." Olivia and Jason are also parents to Otis, 5.
Kim Kardashian West looks back at her first tweet, LOLs at herself
Like her sisters, Kim Kardashian West's use of social media is often cited in any discussion of how she amassed her fortune, which Forbes recently estimated to be worth about $370 million. Over the weekend, the reality star was inspired by watching her "E! True Hollywood Story" to consider that it's been a decade since she first tweeted anything, so she went back to see what that post had been. "Hey guys it's Kim Kardashian," she wrote at the time (and retweeted on Sunday, Oct. 13, giving it an extra "LOL"). "I finally signed up for Twitter! There are a few fakes so just know this is the real me!!!" The show featured Kim discussing how she's used various social media apps through the years to promote herself, stay in touch with her fans and continue building her KKW makeup company. As she told fans on her app back in 2016, she's discovered through the years that even "mistakes" can be helpful with regard to social media choices, since they're ultimately going to help teach what could work better next time.

More accusers may testify against Cuba Gooding Jr. in sexual misconduct trial
Cuba Gooding Jr.'s sexual misconduct trial could prove to be much more far-reaching than expected. The actor appeared in court in New York City on Tuesday, Oct. 15, where he pleaded not guilty to two allegations of forcible touching, one from 2018 and one that allegedly took place in June. The AP reports prosecutor Jenna Long alerted the judge in the case that she could bring in as many as 12 accusers who say Gooding touched or grabbed women in different parts of the country between 2001 and 2018. All of the alleged incidents reportedly took place at bars, hotels and restaurants. A lawyer for Gooding previously said video from one of the incidents in question will show the actor did not grope anyone. Gooding was released on his own recognizance after entering his not-guilty plea.
