Halsey's fans think she and Alev Aydin are already married
Have Halsey and Alev Aydin quietly tied the knot? The singer's fans were asking that question this week after Page Six spotted a band around her left ring finger when she stepped out with her screenwriter beau in Los Angeles on May 24. Alev also appeared to be wearing a ring on his all-important finger during the expectant couple's stroll — the same ring, it seems, as the one he wore in a selfie posted on his Instagram that day. Although he didn't respond to commenters who asked if he and Halsey were married, others chimed in on the thread, pointing to a since-deleted item from gossip account DeuxMoi that claimed they got hitched last year. In January, Halsey revealed she was expecting her first child with Alev. Earlier this month, she shared that they met while working on a Sony Pictures movie about her life that has yet to make much progress. Asked on Twitter, "Why did [the film] never happen?" Halsey explained, "Bc alev was supposed to be writing it the past 3 years and we slowly fell in love instead. you know the rest!"

Jennifer Aniston names ex Brad Pitt as one of her favorite 'Friends' guest stars
Jennifer Aniston and Brad Pitt split up way back in 2005, but the love persists! While promoting the May 27 "Friends" reunion on "Access Hollywood" this week, Jen and her former castmates Courteney Cox and Lisa Kudrow were reminiscing about their favorite "Friends" guest stars through the years. Initially, the ladies dropped names like Reese Witherspoon, Ben Stiller, Charlie Sheen and Paul Rudd, remembering what they liked about working with each actor. Then Jen piped up with a shoutout to her ex-husband, who played Will Colbert in Season 8's "The One With the Rumor" episode, per PopSugar. Part of Will's story arc was that he hated Jen's character, Rachel Green, when they were in high school together with Monica Gellar (played by Courteney) and Ross (David Schwimmer). "Mr. Pitt was wonderful," Jen gushed during the interview. Her co-star Lisa Kudrow agreed, chiming in to say Brad "was fantastic." Jen and Brad tied the knot in July 2000. They were still married when his episode aired in November 2001.

Kerry Washington, Joe Biden, more stars and politicians mark first anniversary of George Floyd's murder
On Tuesday, May 25, the first anniversary of George Floyd's death, social media was flooded with remembrances, tributes and pleas for police reform as people across the country and around the world reflected on the day in 2020 when Minneapolis police officer Derek Chauvin kneeled on George's neck until he died before a crowd of people. His death sparked what the New York Times is calling "the largest [protest] movement in U.S. history," and Hollywood joined in the chorus of voices marking the anniversary, with celebrities including Kerry Washington urging followers to "stay in the fight for justice" and continue learning about America's race relations divide. "Seeing all the attention around the one year anniversary of #GeorgeFloyd's murder is so emotional. Yes, because of the loss of George Floyd," Kerry wrote on Instagram. "But also because it is a painful reminder that for many of you, this issue has mattered for one year. For others of us, Black Lives have never NOT mattered. I pray for a world where we all matter to each other all the time and forever more. Can't stop, wont stop. Justice is not a fad. If you are new to this, happy one year awakening. Stay in the fight. If you are not new to this, sending love. Today and always." Chelsea Handler spoke out, too, echoing the sentiments shared by Vice President Kamala Harris about the need to pass legislation like the police reform bill that's been stalled in Congress. "Today marks one year since George Floyd's death. Yes Derek Chauvin was convicted of his murder, but justice has not been served. There is much more work to do. #BlackLivesMatter," Chelsea tweeted, referencing the former officer's April guilty verdict. "From tragedy / Love must prevail / Our cry / Your tragedy / Demands CHANGE," Uzo Aduba shared. After meeting with George Floyd's family at the White House, President Joe Biden took to Twitter urging congressional action on police reform, tweeting in part, "Last month's conviction was a step towards justice – but we cannot stop there. We face an inflection point. We have to act."

Julianna Margulies on why she and George Clooney never hooked up in real life during their 'ER' tenures
Despite crushing on each other during the years they played lovers on "ER," Julianna Margulies and George Clooney never hooked up off-camera — and Juliana couldn't be happier about that. The actress checked in with Dax Shepard and Monica Padman on this week's "Armchair Expert" podcast, where she elaborated on recent comments about how the crushes she and George had on one another led to a close and lasting friendship. Looking back, Julianna mused that if she and George had done anything about their crushes, she might have had fun at first — "until I became an adult," she said, according to The Hollywood Reporter. Around age 35, she said, "I would have wanted him to show up." In fact, the two still talk about how relieved they are about their decision to keep things platonic. "We always joke that thank God nothing ever happened because now we can remain friends for the rest of our lives," Julianna explained. "As he used to say, 'You don't s— where you eat.' What he meant by that was the famous story about 'Moonlighting' with Bruce Willis and Cybill Shepherd. They had sex on the pilot. And then the show got picked up — and then they hated each other. Or David Duchovny and Gillian Anderson [on 'X-Files']. The same thing happened. And then they hate each other and you're stuck on a show for seven years together. That's agony. Life's too short." Julianna, now 54, also thinks the innocent feelings she and George, 60, had for each other back then translated into better on-screen chemistry between their characters. "You just want to have the crush keep going and going. And that's what worked," she said, adding that George is also "… just a super-awesome human being, and I love him."
Lil Nas X 'will never trust pants again' after 'SNL' wardrobe malfunction
Lil Nas X has a message for any "Saturday Night Live" fans who thought that "wardrobe malfunction" during his performance over the weekend was a stunt: Nope. While chatting with Jimmy Fallon and Dave Grohl on "The Tonight Show" on May 24, the Grammy winning singer was asked to share exactly what happened on the live broadcast. "I'm pretty much going down the pole, doing my little sexy drop down and boom! I feel air," he said (via HuffPo), recalling how his recreation of a move from his controversial "Montero (Call Me By My Name)" video went south on the show. "I'm like 'OK, there's definitely a breeze going on.' And I also felt some popping still happening while I was down there," he continued. Ultimately, he finished singing the No. 1 hit while holding his hand up in front of the … er … area between his legs. "You know what the worst part is?" he asked Jimmy and Dave. "At the end of the performance, the dancers are supposed to touch me and tug on me and they were tugging on the pants. I was like, 'Please God, no.'" Before saying "goodnight," Nas X also showed viewers footage from an "SNL" rehearsal in which he could be seen doing a move that he could have never gotten away with on broadcast television with his pants ripped the way they were. He skipped said move when it came time for the actual performance. "I want everyone who thought it was a publicity stunt to see that," he joked. When the "Tonight Show" aired, Nas X explained his outfit choice — a red tartan kilt — on Twitter: "Stop asking me why i'm wearing a skirt, i will never trust pants again!"
Kanye West's Yeezy Gap collaboration expected to launch in June
Kanye West's long-awaited Yeezy Gap line is "on track" to make its debut by the end of June, one year after the rapper and designer teased the new partnership by sharing the collection's blue and white, Gap-meets "YZY" logo on Twitter. While the new release date is vague, it's also the first new tidbit of info Kanye or the Gap Inc. have shared in recent months, according to a report from Business of Fashion (via Complex) published over the weekend. Last July, Kanye shared a clip from a fitting for the collection, which will reportedly feature "modern, elevated" clothing items for men, women and children. The rapper's designs are also said to be headed for "unique Yeezy Gap expressions" at a handful of stores. Kanye, who worked at a Gap while in high school in Chicago, hasn't been shy about his love for the brand in the past. "One of my dreams was to be the head creative director of the Gap," he told Vogue in 2015. "I'd like to be the Steve Jobs of the Gap … I'm not talking about a capsule. I'm talking about full … creative control of the Gap is what I would like to do." That might not be completely out of reach, either, given Kanye's 10-year deal with the company and Bloomberg's recent prediction that the collaboration could be worth "nearly $1 billion." For now, though, he'll probably have to make due with being, as Global Head of Gap Brand Mark Breitbard put it, a "creative visionary" partner.
Matthew Perry faces backlash for selling Chandler-inspired, vaccine joke tees
Even "Friends" fans aren't sure how to feel about Matthew Perry including COVID-19 references and quips on "Friends" reunion-themed merch. With the much-hyped reunion special headed for HBO Max on May 27, the actor kicked off the week with a social media promo post for a new, Chandler Bing-inspired T-shirt he's selling via his Matthew Perry merch store on Represent.com. Like the other tees, hoodies and accessories, the new shirt features a play on a Chandler-ism from the long-running sitcom. Rather than one of his character's lines (a la "could she be any more out of my league" or "could I be any later"), Matthew's new shirt reads, "Could I be any more vaccinated," written in the familiar font and design from the "Friends" credits. The response hasn't been entirely positive, according to the New York Post. "Making money from a t-shirt relating to vaccines is in bad taste. Could I BE any more annoyed," one person wrote in the comments on Matthew's post. Another responded to the tee by telling Chandler, "i love you but this tshirt is not it haha." A third, meanwhile, complained, "Just propaganda machines for life huh? That's all celebs are anymore." Ouch. Other fans have defended Matthew's instincts though, praising him getting his COVID-19 vaccine and thanking him for "doing [his] part" in helping to bring the coronavirus pandemic to a close. According to Represent, the merch is a limited-edition release.
Josh Duggar's wife Anna is reportedly 'standing by him' ahead of child pornography trial
As Josh Duggar awaits his July child pornography trial, his wife, Anna Duggar, is "standing by him." That's according to a People source, who told the outlet Anna, 32, "thinks Josh is innocent," and confirmed that the former "19 Kids and Counting" star "has seen" the couple's six children "with Anna there" since a judge allowed him to be released into the custody of family friends where there are no minors present until he returns to court. Josh, 33, was arrested last month on charges of receiving and possessing child pornography. He has pleaded not guilty to both counts. If convicted, the former reality star could face up to 40 years behind bars and up to $500,000 in fines. He and Anna, who wed in 2008, are currently expecting their seventh child.
