Blistering comments
Hilarie Burton has called Candace Cameron Bure a "bigot" after the "Full House" alum praised the Great American Family network for featuring "traditional marriage." Candace recently spoke to the Wall Street Journal about leaving Hallmark Channel for GAF. "I think that Great American Family will keep traditional marriage at the core," she told WSJ. The team at GAF, Candace said, are "Christians that love the Lord and wanted to promote faith programming and good family entertainment." Having seen the comments, Hilarie — a Hallmark Channel regular — erupted. "Now they're just openly admitting their bigotry," the "One Tree Hill" actress tweeted. In regard to GAF's CEO, Bill Abbott, calling same-sex couples a "trend," Hilarie said, "I called this s*** out years ago when Abbott was at Hallmark. Glad they dumped him," she tweeted. "Being LGBTQ isn't a 'trend.' That guy and his network are disgusting. You too Candy. There is nothing untraditional about same-sex couples." The actress then took a parting shot at Candace, "Bigot. I don't remember Jesus liking hypocrites like Candy. But sure. Make your money, honey. You ride that prejudice wave all the way to the bank."

Guardian angel
Jay Leno can thank a friend for possibly saving his life. The comedian was rushed to a trauma center over the weekend after suffering severe burns to his face — the result of one of his car bursting into flames. On Tuesday, Nov. 15, Jay told TMZ he was fixing a fuel line on his 1907 White Steam Car in his famous garage. A fuel leak occurred in the midst of this, causing gasoline to be sprayed on Jay's face and hands. Almost instantly, a spark triggered an explosion, setting the comedian on fire. Jay said a friend had been with him, and that the pal jumped on Jay and smothered the flames. Jay is now dealing with 3rd-degree burns and may need skin grafts. Following the incident, Jay told Variety, "I got some serious burns from a gasoline fire. I am OK. Just need a week or two to get back on my feet."

Ticket fiasco
"It's me, hi. I'm the problem, it's me." That might have been Ticketmaster's motto on Tuesday, Nov. 15, after Taylor Swift diehards reportedly crashed the site during the Verified Fan presale. Ticketmaster, for the record, claims the site didn't crash, but acknowledged there were some "intermittent issues." Fans immediately voiced their frustrations on Twitter as they waited in queues or got kicked out of Ticketmaster. "There has been historically unprecedented demand with millions showing up" to buy tickets for Taylor's "The Eras Tour," a Ticketmaster rep said. Fans argued – probably rightfully so — that the ticketing website should have been better prepared for a deluge of Taylor fans.
Marriage intact
Rumors of their marriage's demise have been greatly exaggerated. For years, reports have claimed that Tori Spelling and Dean McDermott were on the verge of divorce. However, Dean insists that all is well between the two. "Everything is amazing. Everything's great. We're having a lot of fun," he told The Sun on Monday, Nov. 14. "We're loving the cold weather and then getting ready for the craziness of Thanksgiving and Christmas." Dean and Tori's marriage has been rocky, as they've waded through cheating scandals in the past. Just last year Us Weekly said the "Beverly Hills, 90210″ star felt "trapped" in her marriage but wouldn't leave Dean because of their children. Recently, the duo has been seen together at several events, perhaps indicating a thawing in the frosty relationship. In the new interview, Dean even proclaimed that he's "off the market."
Date gone wrong
Jana Kramer pissed away her chance with Captain America. The "One Tree Hill" alum is revealing that she went on a few dates with Chris Evans a decade ago, but things ended quickly after one "embarrassing" evening that left her "mortified." On her "Whine Down" podcast, Jana said she and Chris was supposed to have a "sleepover" one night, having been on few dates at that point. "And so I had asparagus for dinner that night so I went to the bathroom and he immediately went after me," she recalled. "And so that's the last interaction that I remember is him going into the bathroom after I just went to the bathroom with asparagus pee and never hearing from him again," she said, adding, "I did the asparagus walk of shame out of his house." Jana made is clear that she and Chris did not hook up. The country singer admitted to sliding into Chris' DM's last year, but she refrained to say whether he ever responded.
Surgery after attack
Former "Saturday Night Live" star Chris Redd will require surgery to fix his nose, which was broken during a brutal attack in New York City. The comedian was rushed to a hospital in late October after being punched in the face outside a famed comedy club. The comedian had just gotten out of a car and was about to enter the Comedy Cellar when the assault occurred. Page Six said two men seemed to be waiting for Chris, and one of them and punched him "out of nowhere." TMZ said the assailant hit Chris with brass knuckles, breaking his nose in three places. Following the surgery on Tuesday, Nov. 15, Chis will have to take it easy for several weeks.
Kid questions
It's possible that Andrew Garfield will become a father one day, but he's not going to let society dictate when he goes on daddy duty. That's not to say he doesn't feel pressure, telling GQ he's struggling with the "societal obligation" of becoming a father by age 40. "Releasing myself from the societal obligation of procreating by the time I'm 40 has been an interesting thing to do with myself," he told British GQ. "Where do I start with why it didn't happen? It's more about accepting a different path than what was kind of expected of me from birth. Like by this time you will have done this, and you will have at least one child – that kind of thing." The actor, 39, said he feels a tinge of regret in regard to his mother never being able to meet a grandchild, as she passed in 2019. "I think I have some guilt around that. And obviously, it's easier for me as a man," he said. Andrew keeps is love life fairly private, but multiple reports claim he and Alyssa Miller are dating.
