Kanye West reportedly thinks Forbes undervalued his net worth (again)
Is there another Kanye West-Forbes feud in the works? The magazine just published its annual list of the world's billionaires and while it does include the rapper now legally known as Ye, sources tell The Blast the star thinks Forbes undervalued his net worth. Again. According to Forbes' number crunching, Ye is worth about $2 billion. But in a report published Tuesday, April 5, The Blast says "sources close to" the rapper maintain his net worth should be around $7 billion, given his design deals with Adidas, Gap and more. (He also still has a stake in SKIMS, the shapewear line his ex, Kim Kardashian, created.) One source is quoted as saying Ye thinks Forbes wants "to control and diminish him even at the cost of their own integrity." Ye's team is also reportedly taking issue with Forbes' use of "revenue from last year only" rather than including the "enterprise value of long-term deals that are in place" in its net worth estimation. Kanye's relationship with Forbes, of course, has been rocky for some time. In 2020, he contacted the magazine via angry text messages and accused the publication of lying when it reported his net worth was just over $1 billion. "It's not a billion," Kanye allegedly wrote at the time (per Forbes editor Zack O'Malley Greenburg). "It's $3.3 billion since no one at Forbes knows how to count."
Jason Momoa sounds off on rumors he's dating Kate Beckinsale
Jason Momoa says he was simply "being a gentleman" when he gave Kate Beckinsale his coat at an Oscars afterparty. The stars were photographed chatting and smiling together at Vanity Fair's post-Academy Awards bash last month, and at one point Jason, 42, let Kate, 48, cover up a bit with his coat. But that's apparently was there was to it, despite rumors to the contrary. "It was cray," Jason told "Extra" this week of the dating buzz that followed their chat. "Everyone is like, 'Are you dating?' No, no, it was chivalry, the woman was cold. … Absolutely not, not together," he continued. "She is very nice, I was being very nice, just being a gentleman." Going forward, he added, "I am not giving my coat to anyone." Jason and his wife, Lisa Bonet, announced their split in January after 16 years together. He briefly addressed the breakup on Instagram after taking the kids he shares with Lisa to the New York City premiere of "The Batman," starring his stepdaughter, Zoe Kravitz. "We had a wonderful time in NYC. Mahalo [thank you] to the fans and press for being generous and giving us space for the children, it's hard enough separating in the public eye. We appreciate the continued privacy through these times, aloha, j," he wrote at the time. Jason and Lisa share son Nakoa-Wolf, 13, and daughter Lola, 14.
Cole Sprouse says Disney Channel's young female stars were 'heavily sexualized'
For Disney Channel alum Cole Sprouse, who planned to leave showbusiness before landing his role on "Riverdale," "fame is a [form of] trauma," especially when it starts in childhood. The 29-year-old actor recently shared his thoughts on how child stardom differs for boys versus girls and "what it takes to recover" from living in the spotlight at a young age. "My brother and I used to get quite a bit of, 'Oh, you made it out! Oh, you're unscathed!' No," the former "Suite Life of Zack and Cody" star told the New York Times. "The young women on the channel we were on were so heavily sexualized from such an earlier age than my brother and I that there's absolutely no way that we could compare our experiences. And every single person going through that trauma has a unique experience," he explained. "When we talk about child stars going nuts, what we're not actually talking about is how fame is a trauma. So I'm violently defensive against people who mock some of the young women who were on the channel when I was younger because I don't feel like it adequately comprehends the humanity of that experience and what it takes to recover." For Cole, that "recovery" has involved making time for a side career in fashion photography and being careful not to comment much, if at all, on his romantic relationships. He also launched an Instagram account on which he only posts photos he's taken of strangers attempting to photograph him without being caught. "It was an attempt to go, 'Hey, I actually have agency in the situation, too,'" he said. "It helped me a lot." In addition to "Riverdale," Cole stars in the upcoming HBO Max comedy, "Moonshot," out March 31.

Kourtney Kardashian and Travis Barker have tied the knot — with some help from an Elvis impersonator. The couple showed up at the One Love Wedding Chapel in Las Vegas in the wee hours of Monday, April 4, and said "I do" shortly after attending the 2022 Grammy Awards, according to April 5 reports from TMZ and People. The Sin City chapel's owner, Marty Frierson, told People Kravis "requested Elvis Presley, that was mandatory" for their officiant. "They showed a lot of love and had a lot of fun," Marty recalled of the 30-minute private ceremony. According to TMZ, the lovebirds had "started working on" but had not yet signed a prenup. As of April 5, TMZ had conflicting information about whether Kravis had a marriage license, thereby making their nuptials 100 percent legal. The Blink-182 drummer, 46, popped the question to Kourtney, 42, on a beach in Montecito, California, in October 2021. Congrats!

Selena Gomez has spent nearly half of her 20s avoiding social media and it's made all the difference in her mental health journey. "I haven't been on the internet in four and a half years. It has changed my life completely," Selena, 29, revealed on the April 4 edition of "Good Morning America." "I am happier, I am more present, I connect more with people. It makes me feel normal." While she said she offers her team guidance on what she shares with her 310 million Instagram followers, she doesn't actually post anything herself or scroll through a feed to see what others are posting. "I started to have a relationship with myself," she said. "I think that's the best part. I've probably been the happiest I've ever been." With her own mental health in good standing — Selena revealed in 2020 that she was diagnosed with bipolar disorder — the actress and singer recently launched a new, free mental health platform she hopes will help others who may be struggling. Justin Bieber, more stars' YouTube channels hacked
Pop stars including Justin Bieber, Taylor Swift, The Weeknd, Ariana Grande, Travis Scott, Harry Styles, Drake and Eminem appeared to have had their YouTube channels hacked early in the morning on Tuesday, April 5. Bizarre, clearly unauthorized videos reportedly appeared on the profiles that were affected, though most have since been taken down. According to the Daily Mail, one video that popped up on Justin's channel was dubbed "Justin bieber – Free Paco Sanz (ft. Will Smith, Chris Rock, Skinny flex & Los Pelaos)" and showed Paco — a convicted Spanish fraudster — singing with a backwards guitar in his hands. Some outlets have suggested the alleged hacker added Will Smith and Chris Rock's names as click-bait in the wake of Will's Oscars slap. According to the New York Post, the person operating the Twitter handle @lospelaosbro has claimed responsibility for the hacks.

Chris Rock would never have joked about Jada Pinkett Smith's buzz-cut during his Oscars presentation had he known she suffers from alopecia, which causes hair loss. That's according to Chris' younger brother, Kenny Rock, who recently spoke with the Los Angeles Times about Will Smith's decision to walk onstage and slap Chris over the "G.I. Jane 2" crack. "The joke was funny. It wasn't hilarious funny, but I know that if he knew that she had alopecia … he wouldn't make a joke about that. But he didn't know," Kenny said in an interview published Monday, April 4. "It eats at me watching it over and over again because you've seen a loved one being attacked and there's nothing you can do about it," he explained. "Every time I'm watching the videos, it's like a rendition that just keeps going over and over in my head. My brother was no threat to him and you just had no respect for him at that moment. You just belittled him in front of millions of people that watch the show." Asked if he accepts the apology Will eventually offered Chris on social media, Kenny said he does not. "I might have looked at it differently had he initially apologized when he got on the stage and cried and accepted the award, but he didn't, so, right there that tells me that it is something else," he explained. "No, I don't accept it because I don't think it was genuine. I think his publicist and the people that work under him probably advised him to do that."

Alec Baldwin and his wife, Hilaria Baldwin, recently confirmed they're expecting their seventh child together. In a pregnancy update on Tuesday, April 5, Hilaria revealed she knows the baby-to-be's sex, but said she's not ready to go public with the information yet. "I do know and I will tell you but I'm waiting for two things," she shared on her Instagram Stories, according to People. "1. I lost a baby at 4 months in 2019 (maybe some of you remember). I think about her daily and understand that motherhood has its beauty and its darkness. But I will wait until I'm past the point when I lost my daughter," she explained. Hilaria went on to tell followers the second reason she hesitates to share the baby's sex is related to her consideration of gender identity discrimination. "2. Many of you know how connected I am to the LGBTQIA+ community and I am talking with a few close confidants on how I can be thoughtful and inclusive on helping to curate a more gender inclusive world," she wrote. "Quite frankly it may just be continuing on as I have. But given all of the prejudice I'm seeing in this country right now, I need to pause and give it a good think and get some advice. It pains me so much to see that people are vilified and harassed and not included for simply being who they are. Peaceful, loving, beautiful humans."
