Hugh Jackman, Ryan Reynolds comment on Hugh's uncensored 'X-Men' butt on Disney+
There's been some skeptical online chatter about the double standards Disney+ employed when it censored Daryl Hannah's mer-butt in "Splash," but allowed Hugh Jackman's more visible rear to be seen in its streaming version of "X-Men: Days of Future Past," which recently arrived on the platform. As of Monday, the brand had yet to comment on the matter — unlike Hugh, who took advantage of his booty flash to make this "cheeky" observation on Instagram: "Days Of Future Past becomes the first movie to air on Disney+ uncensored. That was my future but let's be honest … it's more like my past." And like all utterances Hugh shares on Instagram, his booty note was quickly weighed in on by his longstanding frenemy-slash-No.1-troll, Ryan Reynolds, who quipped, "Excited for them to do the same for Deadpool. It's time children knew. #Samesies ❤️."

As Hollywood reacted to news Kelly Preston, 57, lost her private battle with breast cancer on Sunday, July 12, friends, colleagues and fans were reminded of the enduring love she shared with her husband John Travolta. The couple met at Kelly's screen test for 1989's "The Experts," when Kelly was still hitched to Kevin Gage. As John recounted to Us Weekly in 2018, the first thing he said to "this gorgeous woman" he saw coming down a flight of stairs was, "May I ask you a question?' and she said, 'Yes,' and I said, 'What's it like to be married? Is it a good thing?'" John said she told him she did like being married — "I love it," the "Grease" star recalled her saying. " I thought, 'Wow, wouldn't it be great to be married to someone who loves being married?'" John marveled. He said they "had immediate chemistry." Asked how she remembered that moment, Kelly told Us: "I see, no lie, coming across the hall with his two dogs, this really hot guy. Then he stops and says hello. And I was like, 'Oh s—-. Kill me now.' You know, like, 'Oh my God.' And that was my first meeting with him." John added that someone at the screen test even predicted he was going to fall in love with Kelly and "want to get married" to her. Which he did. The two became friends on the set of "The Experts," but it didn't take long before the friendship turned into a romance. They eloped in Paris in 1991, and went on to have three children, Jett, Ella and Benjamin. They went on to weather challenges including Jett's devastating death and when Kelly shared what would be her last Instagram post nearly 29 years after she and John tied the knot, it was a photo of her with John and their kids alongside which she wrote, "Happy Father's Day to the best one I know, we love you." Asked to share the secret to a happy and healthy love story like the one she had with John, Kelly told Us in 2018, "Communication is huge. Continue playing. People will let their marriage go but you have to have fun, play, have date night, you know, make it last." She added: "A relationship doesn't just happen. You have to work at it. You've got to keep it fun and that's what we do."

The complete Spice Girls reunion fans were hoping for last year fell one Girl short on their 2019 reunion tour. But even Posh Spice, aka Victoria Beckham, joined her former bandmates when the the whole group — Melanie B, Melanie C, Geri Halliwell, Emma Bunton and Victoria — got together after the U.K. began its reopening process. Emma revealed on her Heart UK radio show on Sunday that all five Spice Girls went for a socially distant stroll in the country last week, according to Bustle. "As things slowly, slowly start to get back to normal and we've all started to meet up with friends again, haven't we, which is strange," she said. "I actually started to think I would never see them again… well, unless it was on Zoom calls. And this week, yes, I finally got to meet up with Geri, Mel B, Mel C, and Victoria!" Dishing on the setting of their reunion, she continued: "Now you may think we propped up a bar somewhere or had drinks in the garden but no. We went on a social distancing walk in the woods! This time last year we were performing at Wembley all glammed up," she recalled. "Well, this year we were in wellies, walking in the rain. Yes, something you don't see every day – five Spice Girls in their wellies!" Alas, she did not share any major news about the topics they covered while strolling, but as Bustle reminds us, Mel C recently told ET the four Spice Girls who toured last year "would love to do more shows" if and when the coronavirus is over. Victoria, however, remains unlikely to join them.
Kanye West releases new music in honor of his late mother's birthday
Kanye West, who's simultaneously teasing a presidential run and a new album release, released a surprise track in honor of his late mother, Donda West, on Twitter Sunday night — when she would have turned 71. The short new song opens with Donda reciting KRS-One's "Sound of Da Police" over gospel vocals for more than a minute before 'Ye joins in with his own lyrics. "Righteous indignation in this nation/ we 'gon start a revolution in this basement," he raps (via Rolling Stone). "Y'all had your fake leaders, don't worry we got it," he continues."Mama I need you to tuck me in/ I done made some mistakes and they rubbed it in / I know you and grandma had enough of them/ Why I gotta be so stubborn then. I'm doin' this one for y'all so we can end racism once and for all." The rapper didn't confirm if the new song will appear on his forthcoming album, but tweeted: "In loving memory of my incredible mother on her birthday." earlier on Sunday, Kim Kardashian West paid tribute to Donda with a sweet video of Kanye singing his song, "Hey Mama," with his mom. Donda died in 2007 of heart disease and "multiple post-operative factors" related to plastic surgery.
Naya Rivera confirmed dead after authorities find her body in Lake Piru
A days-long search for Naya Rivera after the "Glee" star went missing last Wednesday came to a sad end on Monday morning. Page Six reports authorities located the 33-year-old actress' body in Southern California's Lake Piru, where she'd been boating with her son, Josey, 4, when she was last seen alive. After he was found alone on the boat last week, Josey told police his mom had never gotten back in after they popped out of the pontoon to swim. Naya's body was reportedly found near a cove.
JAY-Z, Yo Gotti and Team Roc demand improvement in living conditions at deadly MS prison
JAY-Z, Yo Gotti and Team Roc, the philanthropic arm of Jay's Roc Nation, are putting more legal pressure on Mississippi's Department of Corrections to remedy the notoriously deadly living conditions at Parchman prison. According to Complex, the rappers and Team Roc, on behalf of more than 200 inmates, have filed multiple lawsuits against the state's DOC Commissioner Nathan Burl Cain and Centurion, the company responsible for medical and mental healthcare at the facility. Citing previous filings in January, February and May that claim widespread neglect and "cruel and tortuous" conditions, the latest complaint alleges authorities have not corrected the situation, thereby allowing COVID-19 to spread at a staggering rate. "The situation in Parchman is dire. More and more of the incarcerated population are reaching out for help and pleading for immediate medical attention, especially as the coronavirus threatens their lives," Gotti said in a statement. According to Team Roc, black mold, flooding, vermin infestations and worse abound in the cells, where social distancing is impossible and prisoners with symptoms of the coronavirus have been not treated or separated from the rest of the population. The complaint demands that the DOC commissioner, along with Centurion and Gov. Tate Reeves, devise a plan to address the dangerous living conditions within 90 days.
Armie Hammer and Elizabeth Chambers reportedly had marital trouble 'for quite a while' before calling it quits
Armie Hammer and Elizabeth Chambers' split announcement on Friday came as a surprise to the public. But it didn't come out of left field, Us Weekly reports. "They have been having trouble in their marriage for quite a while and each doing their own thing," a source tells the magazine. Armie, 33, and Elizabeth, 37, had been in quarantine with their kids, Harper, 5, and Ford, 3, in the Cayman Islands. According to Us, however. "Armie left … weeks ago," and as of Friday, Elizabeth was reportedly still in the Caribbean with their daughter and son. "The decision to separate was not one that they made lightly," another source tells Us. "They didn't wake up one day and suddenly decide. They are best friends and love each other very much. Right now, their biggest concern is their children and how this change will impact them. Their children are their top priority and always will be." The insider added that the split is "amicable," echoing the joint statement they released on Instagram at the end of last week. Citing the "13 years" they spent as "best friends, soulmates, partners and then parents, the statement called their relationship an "incredible journey," saying they'd "decided to turn the page and move on from our marriage." As Lainey Gossip points out, the throwback photo they used alongside their announcement speaks volumes. They look super young because they were — Armie was just 20 when they started dating.
Johnny Depp's former assistant defends claim Amber Heard abused Depp, not the other way around
Johnny Depp's libel trial continued on Monday with Depp's former assistant, Stephen Deuters taking the stand to follow up on his written witness statement, Page Six reports. In the statement, Deuters alleged Depp's ex, Amber Heard, was the abuser in the former couple's relationship, not the other way around. Deuters reportedly claimed Depp told him "on multiple occasions that Heard had attacked him or abused him physically and verbally" over the years, while Heard had never mentioned being assaulted by her then-husband. On the stand, Deuters was accused of having bought drugs for Depp and being financially dependent on him. Depp has accused The Sun of libel for printing that he was a "wife-beater," referring to his marriage to Heard.
