Although it's hard to believe, hotties like George Clooney, Bradley Cooper and Johnny Depp were once struggling new actors trying to make a name for themselves in Hollywood. Crazy, right? While some actors might be here today and gone tomorrow, others have the talent, gorgeous good looks and ambition to become the next generation of big-name stars. Wonderwall.com searched through the cast lineups of some of the most popular TV shows and movies to see which supporting actors of today are destined to be the hottest leading men of tomorrow… starting with English actor — and current star of the wildly acclaimed Hulu original series "The Handmaid's Tale" — Max Minghella. He plays Nick, the complicated driver (and spy) who engages in a steamy and totally illegal love affair with the show's main character, Offred (Elizabeth Moss). Fans of "The Mindy Project" might remember Max as Richie, the adorable little brother of Danny (Chris Messina). Not only does he have dreamy good looks and talent for days, but Max is also set to direct a film he wrote, "Teen Spirit" starring Elle Fanning.

Fans of the newest season of "Orange Is the New Black" will recognize seriously hot Gerrard Lobo as the calm, collected (and super-fine) male nurse who works alongside Burset (Laverne Cox) to keep inmates and guards alive during a three-day prison riot. While Gerrard — who also had a small recurring role on the Netflix original series "Master of None" — got his start on-screen in 2013, he's quickly made a name for himself as a talented performer who's defied casting stereotypes and proven that Indian-American actors are totally capable of being Hollywood heartthrobs.

If Robert Sheehan's sparkling green eyes look familiar, that's because he starred alongside Dev Patel and Zoe Kravitz in the indie flick "The Road Within," which follows a young man dealing with the loss of his mother while learning to cope with Tourette syndrome. The sexy Irish actor was an original cast member of the popular British sci-fi series "Misfits" and starred on numerous other TV shows including "Me and Mrs. Jones" and "Accused." He's set to appear in the sci-fi thriller "Geostorm" alongside Gerard Butler in 2017 and is currently filming "Mortal Engines," which arrives in theaters in December 2018.

Kofi Siriboe might only be 23, but he's already been working in Hollywood for a decade. Known for his broad, pearly smile, this gorgeous actor has made numerous appearances on both television and in film, including on the popular series "Queen Sugar" and in the hip-hop biopic "Straight Outta Compton." In July 2017, Kofi will appear on the new FX series "Snowfall," a drama set against the Los Angeles crack cocaine explosion of the early 1980s.
He's currently starring as the sword-wielding, muscle-flaunting Uhtred on the BBC historical drama "The Last Kingdom" and has amassed an ever-growing fan base. Whether it's Alexander Dreymon's swoon-worthy good looks or passionate acting style, it's easy to see why this German-born star is fast becoming one of the hottest actors working today. Fans of "American Horror Story" might remember Alexander (sans the long hair and beard) as Luke Ramsey — the dashing young man from Season 3 who catches the adoring eye of a lonely witch next door.
Tobias Santelmann is another scintillating star from the rugged BBC series "The Last Kingdom" — and we're keeping our eye on him too. He plays Ragnar Ragnarson, a vicious but loyal warrior who stands by his adopted brother Uhtred (Alexander Dreymon) on a quest to unite England. Originally from Germany, this burly star began acting in 2010 and already has some high-profile movie credits to his name, including a role in the 2014 film "Hercules" and the 2015 remake of "Point Break."
When it comes to Elvis Nolasco, fans know one thing — if he's in it, it's bound to be good. Throughout his 23-year career in Hollywood, this multilingual New York-born and raised star has delivered powerful performances that leave fans mesmerized, including during his two seasons on the anthology series "American Crime" and even in his portrayal of Papo Da Mayor in the Netflix original comedy "She's Gotta Have It." He recently wrapped up filming "The Cold Side of the Sun," a Spanish-language thriller that's set for release in 2017.
Although Miguel Ángel Silvestre is well-known in Spain, American fans didn't get their first taste of the stunning star until he appeared as one of the lead characters, Lito Rodriguez, in the Netflix original series "Sense8." While he played a closeted gay actor who eventually finds the courage to own his sexuality, in real life, Miguel is dating Spanish actress Blanca Suárez. Now that "Sense8" has been canceled (why Netflix, why?), we can expect to find Miguel taking on some exciting new roles, including voicework in the animated flick "Ferdinand," which hits theaters in December 2017.
If you recognize Ross Butler's handsome face, it's likely you also binge-watched the Netflix original series "13 Reasons Why," which featured the 27-year-old star, whose family tree includes British, Dutch, Chinese and Indonesian ancestry. Or maybe you remember him from his work on "Riverdale" or even "Teen Wolf." Either way, it's clear Ross has a face and acting talent that's hard to forget (and that's destined to be on-screen for a long time coming).
We almost didn't include blond hottie Boyd Holbrook on our list because he's already on the verge of being a household name. Along with his recent role on the Netflix original series "Narcos," Boyd — who was once engaged to Elizabeth Olsen — has enjoyed parts in "Logan," "Gone Girl" and more blockbuster hits. His first movie role was in the 2008 Academy Award-winning film "Milk" with Sean Penn, and since then he's steadily climbed higher, proving he's more than just great cheekbones and good hair. His next big film is "Boomtown," coming to theaters in late 2017.
Rory Fleck Byrne is a steamy Irish actor and musical composer who recently stole our hearts on the Hulu original series "Harlots" as the lovestruck Daniel Marney. If you haven't yet heard of Rory, then be prepared to see a lot more of him on the big screen. He'll appear in 2017's "The Foreigner" alongside Jackie Chan and Pierce Brosnan as well as "Night of the Lotus."
We fawned over him in "Age of Adaline" and tuned in to "Nashville" and "Game of Thrones" and still, it's just not enough. Holland-born Michiel Huisman has seduced the screen for years, making appearances on a variety of TV shows and in films (remember him in "Wild" with Reese Witherspoon? Sigh.) leaving us hungry for more. He'll next appear in the film "2:22" — a psychological thriller arriving in theaters June 30, 2017.
Beyond his dazzling smile and dreamy eyes we could get lost in, Brandon P. Bell is a force of sheer talent. While his popularity has spiked since appearing on the Netflix original series "Dear White People," fans might not know that Brandon also appeared in the 2014 film of the same name. He's had numerous roles on popular TV shows like "2 Broke Girls" and "Hollywood Heights" and is clearly on track to steal the screen (and our hearts) for many years to come.
The only reason we got away with including Jason Momoa on our list is because there's possibly three people left in the world who haven't heard of him and so, thanks to this technicality, we included this hugely popular, insanely attractive star. Whether the "Game of Thrones" alum is flashing his playful eyes and wild eyebrows in "Once Upon a Time in Venice" or wielding a trident as the heir to Atlantis in at least two upcoming DC Comics films, there's no screen that won't light up with his magnificent presence. We can't wait to see him as Aquaman in November 2017's "Justice League" before he headlines "Aquaman" in December 2018!
Adan Canto is the sexy Mexican actor whose face has graced the big screen in films like "X-Men: Days of Future Past" and TV shows like "Narcos." His most recent role was on the ABC political drama "Designated Survivor" and he's recently wrapped up filming the movie "When Jack Went Glamping," but as far as we're concerned, we could just watch him on a live cam all day and be totally happy.
If you're not watching "The Magicians" on Syfy then you probably haven't heard of one of the hottest low-key actors around, Arjun Gupta. His character, Penny, is the sexy, wise-cracking loner who has magical powers so rare, even he doesn't fully understand them. While in real life Arjun might not have supernatural gifts, there's definitely something otherworldly about him when he's on-screen. He recently finished filming "The Hungry" and we're starving to see what he's in next!
Fans of the hit ABC fantasy series "Once Upon a Time" will recognize Irish cutie Colin O'Donoghue as Captain Killian "Hook" Jones, the sexy pirate-turned-good guy and love interest of Emma Swan (Jennifer Morrison). Although Colin has been acting since 2001, his big break in America came in 2011 with his starring role in the horror film "The Rite" alongside Anthony Hopkins. Colin's recently wrapped up filming for the movie "What Still Remains" and will reprise his role as Hook on Season 7 of "Once Upon a Time."
Serious "The Mindy Project" fans know what we mean when we say we didn't think anyone could replace Danny (Chris Messina) as Mindy's love interest — that is, until Bryan Greenberg, aka Nurse Ben, walked onto our screens. Now we're all like, "Danny who?" because when Bryan's got Mindy wrapped in his arms, all we want is to steal a moment of that embrace. Whether it's his James Dean-esque good looks or shy, sweet demeanor, we're basically in love. The "How to Make It in America" and "October Road" alum — who married reality star-turned-actress Jamie Chung in 2015 — recently starred in the movie "Random Tropical Paradise," which is available online.
While we're still bitter that Netflix canceled "The Get Down" starring Jeremie Harris, we're taking comfort in the fact that his other show, "Legion," was renewed for another season and that we get to stare at this intensely hot actor doing cool mind-bendy things. Since waiting is hard, we're happy that in August 2017, Jeremie has a role in the indie flick "Bushwick" alongside Dave Bautista and Brittany Snow. Obviously, when it comes to this talented actor, there's no such thing as too much.
Before Justin Baldoni was the heartthrob boyfriend and baby daddy on "Jane the Virgin," he was all over our TV screens on shows like "Heroes," "The Bold and the Beautiful" and "Everwood" (among many others). Whether he's sporting a full beard or is shirtless and clean-shaven (sigh), we adore Justin and have a strong suspicion he's going to headline many Hollywood movies in the future — starting with the drama "Con Man," coming to theaters in 2018.
The thing we love the most about Jake Johnson is his realness, which makes every character he plays so endearing and, ultimately, so damn attractive. We're still on cloud nine after his character Nick from "New Girl" rekindled his relationship with Jess (Zooey Deschanel) with a passionate elevator kiss. Hardcore fans of this smart, sexy star might also have caught his incredible performance as a struggling gambler in the Netflix original movie "Win it All" and are likely sitting in the movie theater right now watching "The Mummy" because they know Jake has a supporting role in the Tom Cruise film.
Don't judge a baby face by its good looks. British actor Toby Regbo might have a youthful appearance, but at 26, he's all man. Not only is he a shining Adonis of physical perfection, but he's got some serious acting talent too. In fact, fans of the CW hit series "Reign" were devastated when his character, King Francis II, was killed off, but (spoiler alert) he might have made an immortal appearance on Episode 16 of Season 4 (you're welcome). Since leaving the show, he's become a regular on another historical drama, "The Last Kingdom," which is fitting since two other stars on the series also made our list.
Let's start with the fact that Giacomo Gianniotti was born in Italy (swoon) and then let's take note that he not only speaks but acts in more than one language. Maybe then you'll see why we're so head over heels for this handsome "Grey's Anatomy" star. Aside from our well-meaning objectification, Giacomo is truly a talented actor with his feet firmly planted in theater, film and TV. He recently wrapped up filming the comedy "Edging," which doesn't yet have a release date.
He's a Dutch actor who's made numerous appearances in American films, and we're totally smitten. Marwan Kenzari might look familiar, and that's because he's had roles in some seriously big movies including "Ben Hur," "The Promise" and "The Mummy." He's also set to appear in a few upcoming films such as "Murder on the Orient Express" and "The Angel" — which means we've got butterflies in our stomachs and movie tickets to buy.
He's the super-fine breakout star of the Netflix sleeper hit series "Sense8" which, sadly, was recently canceled by the streaming service. Still, Toby Onwumere stunned on-screen as Capheus Onyango, a Jean-Claude Van Damme-loving bus driver in Nairobi who finds he's connected to seven strangers in a way no one would quite believe. Before Netflix, Toby had a small role on the series "The Book of Dallas" in 2012. While he doesn't have a lot of credits to his name, fans have taken a strong interest in Toby (just check out his Instagram followers) and where there's a fan base, there are certainly roles to follow.
